It was a usual day for Princess Celestia. She got up form her warm, snuggly bed just to put her hoofs down on the cold, icy floor. She walked grumbly over to her "primping" mirror and began to brush her hair. Usually it was difficult for her to brush her hair in the morning because her eyes were tired and didn't enjoy being awoken at such an early time. But Princess Celestia managed to get ready, put on her royal crest and crown, and went down stairs for breakfast. " Oh, good morning dear sister." Princess Luna, the eldest of them said as Princess Celestia walked passed her not wanting to be disturbed. " I know your very tired out from raising the sun at an early time, but you know it must be done." " I know, I know LuLu. I just don't like how I have to get up so early these day, I used to not have to!" Princess Luna had just been finished making eggs and omelets for her lil' sis and was scraping them on to her plate. " Thanks LuLu! You know I really like omelets!" Luna smiled at the sight of happiness gleaming in her little sister's eyes. Princess Celestia began to chow down on her delicious breakfast, while Luna had no intention of behaving in a sloppy manner and ate properly with her magic. Celestia was still learning her " Royal table manners" and didn't have the need to practice at such an early time. As Celestia was eating her food, she was thinking of herself and her sister. Why does LuLu get the satisfaction? Why does no pony appreciate the day I have to offer? Why, why, why? Thoughts like this roared through Celestia's mind from time to time, but she never felt such sudden sadness like this before. She raised her head and asked her sister " LuLu? How come no pony wants to come out in the day?" Princess Luna looked up at her sister and said " Oh Tia, the only reason they do that is because they are very tired from the night before, I thought you would have understood by now." Celestia didn't like hearing the same thing again and again from LuLu, so she asked to be excused and trotted up to her room. She sighed with much grief, the only ponies that ever set foot in daylight was her sister and herself. Every night, as soon as the moon was raised, you saw all kinds of ponies flooding out o they're homes and into the moonlight. Princess Celestia didn't mind it much until now, and she decided instead of fighting she would think it over for a while. " Tia! I need you to come down here for a second! Pretty please!?" She heard LuLu shouting up to her from her upstairs bed room, and quickly flew down to see what was wrong. " What's up LuLu??" " Oh, good your here! We need to get started with some training ok?" " But Luna, I don't wanna have to raise that dumb old ball! Its embarrassing!" " Well it may be blush worthy, but you need your training. Now come outside and we shall begin." And with that, LuLu and Tia raced each other outside to the royal backyard and began to train.
