Whistling echoed through the air as a white pony walked up the path to Ponyvile. "There it is Forest," the mare softly whispered to her green Phoenix pet. The pheonix grumbled from its comfortable perch in her silver mane ( think Spitfire hairstyle and Fluttershy length tail, both silver) and tried to get back to the sleep it's owner so rudely interrupted it from with a small snort of fire. Snow Ghost rolled her ruby red eyes as she started walking again toward the town she had finally reached. As she wandered into town, her mind wandered down to her saddlebags where she had her bottle of liquid emotions so she wouldn't have to cause as many fights and drain ponies, her journal, her mothers necklace, her bag of bits, and her incubater for her unhatched crockodile egg that, now that she thought about it, should be hatching soon.
She was snapped out of her thoughts by a gasp that sounded like it would suck every ounce of air from the surrounding area and whipped around with her paranoia going into overdrive, only to come muzzle to muzzle with the more pink than she had ever seen in her entire life all stuck on a single pony. The pony was somehow staying in midair without the use of wings and she was sure that the pink pony hadn't been their just a few seconds ago, and... wait... what was she saying? Ghost couldn't make out any of the words she was hearing and with as much politeness she could muster to the pink menace she declared "Leaving now!"
She jumped forward and galloped to the closest sanctuary she could find, a very fancy building that looked suspiciously like a carrousel, jumped inside and slammed the door behind her. Ghost breathed a sigh of relief as she turned around to look behind her. It would seem that she had stumbled upon some sort of fashion shop, for everywhere she looked there were mannequins with outfits and accessories that looked to be very high class. "Excuse me, dear," came a voice with a distinct accent. Ghost went straight up in the air with a squeak of surprise and whipped her head around so fast she almost got whiplash. Instead she got a angry phoenix squawking at her and digging it talons into her head, and a Eskimo kiss from the unicorn that had been standing right behind her
"Sorry! Sorry!" Ghost backpedaled away from the unicorn, face a startling shade of red.
"It's quite alright, darling, I should be apologizing to you." the unicorn stated after getting over the shock. "After all I'm the one who startled you. Why where you running anyway, if I may ask?"
"Some crazy pink pony." Ghost answered, slightly breathlessly.
"OH! You mean Pinkie Pie?"
"I guess. Pink with three balloons for a cutie mark?"
"Why, yes, that would be her. I'm guessing she rushed you and started running her mouth?"
"Da!"
"You don't talk much do you?"
"Nope."
An awkward silence descended upon the two ponies, well awkward for Ghost, who wasn't used to being observed by complete strangers this closely. The unicorn, on the other hoof, seemed to be looking at every inch of her that wasn't covered by her vest or saddlebags. "Yes, fine color, the silver clashes with the white in such a way that it *mumble, mumble,* "
"Uh...miss?"
"Hmm?"
"You're kinda creepin' me out,"
"Oh!" The unicorn blushed at Snows blunt response. " Sorry,"
"It's okay, no harm done," Snow said. "I'm Snow Ghost."
"Rarity, darling. I must say though I don't think that you're from around here. May I ask where-"
BOOM!
The noise was so unexpected that both mares jumped several feet up in the air. " WHAT WAS THAT?" Snow screamed.
"Oh, Sweetie Belle!!" Rarity knew exactly what that was, as earlier her sister and her two friends had brought in a box of what looked suspiciously like the missing alchemist set that Twilight had been searching for for days. This, however, needed conformation
