As she was thinking, Princess Luna galloped into the room, followed by Princess Cadance. As Celestia stood to address the two, Princess Twilight promptly appeared out of thin air, thanks to the teleportation spell she'd become adept at using. Twilight's eyes looked to Luna and Cadance for any idea as to what the emergency was, but they both shook their heads in response. She looked to her old mentor, but Celestia's expression was unreadable. Celestia stood and all the ponies waited for her to speak. "I have had a vision," she said, "one that worries me greatly. I saw four ponies, all of which had strange markings in place of cutie marks. One looked to be a being with fire in its eyes, as well as being its mane and tail. It's body was completely black with a few cracks along its hooves showing what looked like more fire within. Another was a pony wrapped in bandages, with parts of its body being shown as decayed. There was one that looked like it was covered in armor, with eyes that were made of blue light. Finally, the last pony seemed to be wrapped in a cloak, but its face and wings were bare bone. They told me that they were the four that would bring the apocalypse to our world." The three princesses that were in front of Celestia only stared, unwilling to believe her. Twilight' thoughts were racing towards some logical reason, some way to disprove what she just heard. Luna solemnly drooped her head and tears could be seen dropping to the floor. Cadance seemed dizzy and took a couple steps back, before going into a sitting position and staring at Celestia. "I-it must have been a dream." Twilight said, hoping that Celestia would agree. "Yes it must have been." Cadance agreed, "How could there be four ponies able to bring about the apocalypse? Not even we would have that much power, even if we combined our magic together." Celestia looked at the three princesses and shook her head. "It was no dream. I too fear for the fate of Equstria and the world as a whole, but I'm afraid I don't know how to go against these four ponies." "There must be something!" Luna cried, tears flowing freely. "I refuse to watch this world perish! There must be a book or ancient text that speaks of these four! Please sister, there has to be something!" The other three alicorns looked at Luna sadly, hating to see her cry like this. Celestia walked toward Luna and sat beside her, casting her wing over her sister, trying to provide some sort of comfort to her. "I do not know of any text," Celestia said gently, "but that doesn't mean such a thing does not exist. Twilight I trust that you can search for this writing while I comfort my sister?" "Of course" "Then please hurry" As Twilight hurried out of the throne room, Cadance asked Celestia "What about me?" "Go back to the Crystal Kingdom, and act as if nothing has happened. Equestria mustn't learn about this until we know exactly who or what these ponies are." "Of course sister" Cadance exited the throne room, ready to make her way back to her kingdom. Celestia guided Luna back to her chambers. "Sister, I don't want this world to perish." Luna said quietly, "There are too many innocent ponies that don't deserve it." "I know sister." Celestia responded, "That is why we will do everything in our power to stop these four ponies of the apocalypse." In the Everfree forest, a lone changeling wandered through, trying to find its way out. It finally gave up and decided just to fly out, despite the risk of being seen. Its wings made their distinct insect noise as the changeling rose above the trees.
