Can you really say "no" to a Princess?

Twilight Sparkle gets VIP access to the hottest new nightclub opening up tonight in Coudsdale, the Flying Pony. She is over excited to be able to go and tear up the dance floor and loosen up. But Celestia is still concerned for her safety.

"Twilight, now I know you want to go to this nightclub but you are a princess now and there is no telling what could happen to you there. Cloudsdale nightclubs have a reputation of being full of hormone fueled stallions. I am going to have to say that you can't go unless you take some kind of guard escort with you", Celestia stated to Twilight after hearing about her wanting to go to the nightclub.

"Fine, I planned on taking White Lightning with me anyways. He's from Cloudsdale and he is Captain of the Guard. What pony in their right mind would mess with me if he was around?", Twilight said snickering.

"Okay, but you must be back to the palace by midnight and no later. I don't want you out too late", Celestia said sternly.

"I'll be fine princess. White Lightning won't let any pony touch me. It's kinda his job and he is too chivalrous to not defend me", Twilight stated with a smile.

She headed out of the palace to make her way back to Ponyville to the Golden Oak Library to get ready to go to the club tonight.

Celestia enters White Lightning's office and stares him in the face.

"Twilight has chosen you to be her guard escort tonight as she goes to the new nightclub opening in Cloudsdale. If you let anything happen to her there will be serious consequences, is that understood?", Celestia said to White Lightning in an angry tone.

"So I have to make sure a bunch of drunk, hormone fueled stallions don't make any moves on Twilight tonight?", he asked sarcastically.

"Yup!", Celestia answered.

"I got no problem with that", White Lightning stated getting up from his desk. "I'll use my informal armor for this. Better maneuverability if I need it."

"Just make sure nothing happens to her. She is in Ponyville getting ready", Celestia says leaving his office.

"I get to go to the opening of The Flying Pony", he said in excitement.

White Lightning put his informal armor on and headed out to go to Ponyville to me up with Twilight.

He gets to the Golden Oak Library and opens the door and Twilight is standing there talking with spike in this amazingly beautiful dress that makes his jaw drop as he sees her in it. He quickly composes himself before she looks over at him.

"Oh good, you are finally here, I kinda wanted to get there early", Twilight said with glee.

"No problem Princess. I am here for you tonight", White Lightning responded proudly.

"Okay, enough with the princess thing, call me Twilight", she stated slightly annoyed.

"I can't do that Princess. You are my boss and formalities must be maintained while I am on duty", he stated.

"Are you going to be like this all night?", Twilight asked. "I picked you cause I thought you all of the guards would actually lighten up a little and not stand over me all night like a tower casting its shadow scaring ponies away from me."

"I am only doing my job, Princess", he replied.

"Ugh, fine, lets get going", she said walking out the door.

The two of them fly up to Cloudsdale and head to The Flying Pony. They get there and the line is already hundreds of ponies long. She walks up to the door and the bouncer lets her right in and White Lightning follows and the door is closed on him. White Lightning pulls out an autographed picture of himself during his first day as a Wonderbolt and the bouncer recognizes him and lets him through apologizing if he offended him.

"What was that about?", Twilight asked.

"I'm Flash. every pegasus knows who I am. Not lets rip this club a new dance hole", he said to her as they entered to the dance floor. "You didn't think I was gonna be a stiff tonight did ya?"

Twilight squeed with excitement as she knew tonight was gonna be awesome. They made there way to the dance floor as the proprietor of the night club noticed Twilight was finally here. He headed to he DJ stage and grabbed the mic.

"Fillies and gentlecolts. We have a special treat for our first night. I would like to introduce the one and only Princess Twilight Sparkle", he said as the spot light turned onto Twilight.

Twilight blushed for a moment then walked over to the DJ stage. He grabbed the mic and looked out to the crowd.

"Just think of me as another mare enjoying a night she will never forget", Twilight said as the crowd erupted into cheer and applause.

"Well then, you heard her ponies. Hey DJ PON-3 we need more wubs", he said dropping the mic and diving into the crowd as Vinyl Scratch started the music and turned it up to wubtastic mode.

White Lightning headed to the bar to grab a drink and sit to survey the scene to see if he can recognize anypony, and he recognizes a lot of them from when he frequented the nightclub scene on a nightly basis.

"Hey barkeep. I'll have a slender on the rocks please. Extra black", he said tapping his hoof on the bar.

The barkeep slides it over to him and he downs it in one shot. He gets up and heads to the dance floor and starts to tear it up like it was never tore up before. His moves were fluid and agile just as they were years ago when he was a Wonderbolt. Some of the ponies watching him began to notice his moves.

"Holy tartarus. It's Flash!", some of the ponies watching him cried out.

As soon as those words we uttered every single mare in the club converged on him and fawned over him trying to grind up on him. Memories of his past adventures to the nightclubs of Cloudsdale began to surface as he reverted back to Flash.

Twilight seeing this was shocked that somepony like him is actually Captain of the Royal Guard. She heads over to the bar to get a drink and asks the barkeep if he knew anything about Flash the Wonderbolt.

"Know anything? Are you kidding me? He is only the greatest stallion to enter the nightclub world in decades. Every mare fawns over him and when ponies learn he is going to be at a night club their attendance goes through the roof. He has the power to breath live into a dying nightclub, which he has countless times. The Slosh Pit was going out of business till he showed up one night and now it's one of the most popular nightclubs around still", the barkeep told Twilight as he prepared her drink and handed it to her.

"I had no idea. I just thought he was a stiff since he is Captain of the Royal Guard", Twilight said in shock as she drank.

"Flash, a stiff? Honey the only thing stiff about him is his dick", a mare sitting next to Twilight said.

"What?!", Twilight exclaimed after she spat out her drink.

"Oh yeah, mares fawn over him cause they only want one thing from him. His dick is legendary in the night scene of Cloudsdale", the mare said. "I've only had the pleasure of receiving it once and I couldn't fly straight for days afterward."

Twilight's wings shot up and her horn started to glow a little when she heard this.

"Aren't you fucking him?", the mare asked. "He is Captain of the Guard and you are a princess. I figured you would be having him every night in the palace."

"What?! No! He is just my guard escort for tonight", Twilight stated as she turned completely red. "Besides he likes one of the other princesses."

"Suit yourself, you have no idea what you are missing out on", the mare said as she got up to head out to the dance floor.

"Barkeep. I need the strongest thing you can make and keep them coming", Twilight stated as her heart raced.

White Lightning is at this point batting away the flood of mares trying to get a piece of him as he heads for the bar as the wubs die down a little.

"Princess. Why you sitting over here at the bar? And you said I was the stiff", he said sitting down. "Barkeep, I'll have a rice knocker, please."

When she heard him say stiff she froze and her horn started to glow as she turned to look at him. He was smiling at her.

"Well, you got VIP access to this club why not enjoy it and dance?", he said as he picked up the drink the barkeep handed to him.

"My song hasn't come on that's all", she said looking away trying to not think about what the mare said about him.

"Hey, what's wrong. You like you got something on your mind. Care to share?", he said putting his hoof on her shoulder.

The music changes and she perks up.

"This is my song", she said lying about it trying to avoid talking with White Lighting right now.

She heads out to the dance floor and starts to dance.

"Flash? Is that you?", a familiar voice asked.

"Holy tartarus. Twiny?", he said looking at her.

"Hehe, yeah. Hard to recognize me huh?", she said sitting next to him.

"Well you aren't on your back with your legs behind your ears", he replied laughing.

"Ha! Yeah those were the days. So how's it been since you join the Royal Guards?", she asked.

"I can't complain. It's a better life than I had. I know where I'm going to wake up every morning", he said taking a drink.

"I heard you made it to Captain of the Royal Guard. You never were happy unless you could make it to the top", she said smiling.

"So how have you been? Done anything exciting after leaving the Wonderbolts?", he asked.

"Got married, had two foals and now I'm living the perfect life", she replied with a smile.

"You got married?! Don't tell me it was with Streamline", he said in shock.

"Hahaha, it was. He proposed to me the day I left the Wonderbolts. He said I should go from one thing that made me happy to the one thing that will make me happy for the rest of my life. I just fell in love with his proposal and he has lived up to what he said. I couldn't be happier than with him", she said taking a drink. "I only came here tonight to have a little fun and relive the night life again if only for one night."

"I guess we both ended up going positive from the destructive lives we lived as Wondebolts", he said with a grin.

"So what about this princess you are with?", she asked.

"What about her? I'm her guard escort for tonight", he stated.

"Oh don't give me that. I know you too well", she stated.

"No, seriously, that's all. Besides she is my boss basically", he said looking at her.

"Yeah keep telling yourself that. Stallions like you don't change that easily", she said getting up. "Well if you will excuse me I have to go dance some more. See ya around Flash."

He sat there thinking about what she had said about stallions like him not changing.

"I have changed, haven't I?", he thought to himself.

He headed back out to the dance floor and started to dance to forgot about it.

Both he and Twilight continued to enjoy themselves all night going back and forth from the bar to the dance floor. They stayed there well past midnight before White Lightning noticed it was past midnight and freaked about what Celestia was going to do to him as punishment. He headed over to Twilight, who was at the bar with her head between her hooves with a headache and clung onto him asking to go home.

"Hehe, I was coming over to do just that", he said picking her up on his back as she clung to him.

They headed out of the nightclub and he took off back to the palace with her on his back.
