Twilight nudged Spike firmly with her hoof.

"C'mon Spike, wake up."

Spike stretched around in his basket, struggling not to hold still. "Huh? Twilight? What is it?"

"Can you send a letter to the princess? I thought I heard something?"

Spike laughed with a deeper voice than usual due to his delayed sleep. "Yeah right. You 'thought' that you heard something. Why don't you actually be brave and go out there to see what it is?"

Twilight pressed her hoof against her face with a sheer amount of annoyance. "Ugh. How could I be so dumb?"
