Corsair is a BatPony whom had a tough colthood. He is the only BatPony out of a family of pegasi. Even if some ponies in his family accepted him, some never did and made sure his life is miserable.

So in response he and his younger brother Blitz decided too move out and start over in the small town of Ponyville.
