Princess Celestia (Edited)View OnlineMichael's New LifePrincess Celestia (Edited)Prologue A dark castle, surrounded by a moat that consisted of a green liquid, stood out from the large skyscrapers that surrounded it. It's very appearance made the sky around it blacken. Demons made out of red energy flew around it. Their screeches could be heard for miles. In the distance, a man riding a giant bird, that seemed to be made out of shadows, was headed towards it. The man, in his late teens, was wearing a suit that looked like a combination of Robin Hood's costume, the color black, and modern elements. His face was covered by a veil of shadows and the hood covered his hair. "Head towards the top spire!" he commanded to the bird. The bird shifted to a half dive, angling himself so he could reach the spire with more speed. None of the demons noticed the duo, as the sky was too black for detection. When they got close enough to the spire, the young man melted through the bird, and landed on the spire. The bird gained a humanoid shape, and melded with the man's shadow. Placing a finger on a small communication device in his ear, he said "Infiltration complete". A woman's voice on the other end said "Copy, continue Michael" Continuing as ordered, Michael became a shadow himself, and went through a nearby window. The room was dark, so he dispelled the shadow spell, regaining his body. He began to head down the spiral staircase, completely ignoring the multiple pictures, and the checkered paint on the walls. At the end of the stairway, there was a door. Melting into shadows once again, Michael slipped undetected through the opening doors. He continued to slink through the castle, stopping only to latch onto a shadow so the spell wont time out. The many guards paid no attention to him, as they heard no alerts. Most of them were celebrating their victory, in summoning the castle. They had no idea the demons would kill them all, to gain enough blood to take material form. Half an hour later, Michael found what he was looking for. An empty room with a red portal taking up most of the room. Since the circle was fully opened, nobody was present to guard it. Morphing back to normal, he began charging dark energy to destroy the castle, and the demons around it. "Well, well, well. Look at what we have here." A voice behind him said. Michael turned around, and saw a man he hoped not to encounter. The man had a shaved face, brown hair, and a white suit on. One of his eyes was blue, and the other was completely red. Draven Kooch. "Draven" Michael growled. As he said that, guards ran into the room, and their presence made the portal shrink to a human sized hole. All of them aimed their guns, swords, and axes at Michael. "It's nice to see you, Michael! It really is." Draven began. "I was worried you were too scared, or too smart to stay away, child" he laughed. "Now that you're here..." he lifted one hand, and aimed it towards Michael, "We can begin." As if on cue, demons from outside flew into the room. The guards seemed relieved, as their odds at winning were that much higher. It was when the demons faced them, and began to attack, that they panicked. The first few guards were entered, and they immediately exploded in a gory display of innards, bones, and blood. The next few were ready, and eager to not die. Draven, with his hand still out, willed the blood to come to him. As it got closer, it turned into a mist, and dissipated. The next moment, Draven was surrounded in an aura of red energy. Draven flew down from his balcony, with the help of his blood magic. Upon landing, he cracked the ground and the resulting shock wave killed twelve guards and seven demons. He seemed to revel in his new-found powers. He liked them so much, that he made a blood-whip, and killed several guards as a test. He seemed to be lost in his power. Michael took this as a chance to draw more shadow energy, as his enemy seemed stunned. "Just a few more seconds..." "And what do you think you're doing?" Michael looked up, and say Draven had closed all of the distance between them. A wicked smile on his face, and mysteriously acquired glasses showed he was at least 10% more evil looking than before. "You don't want to ruin the party, do you?" A down-low sweep kick to the leg knocked him down. The grin disappeared when his face hit the ground. A black flip helped him regain his footing, but Michael was now gone. Surveying the room, ignoring the carnage, he saw one demon standing, staring at him with fear. Noting that demons love fear, he realized something was off. A crimson shock (a blood bolt) was fired out of the shadow, revealing a pained figure to jump out. Michael jumped through several shadows, drawing enough speed during those maneuvers to launch himself at Draven, and deliver a necessary amount of force into his face. Anticipating this, considering that's a common attack from Michael, Draven caught his arm mid-punch and threw his weight towards a statue. The blow knocked him out. Satisfied, Draven began to chant. Mike wasn't knocked out. He was, in fact aware of Draven's plans. He didn't want to even know exactly how powerful his opponent has become, so he allowed himself to make that mistake. At the moment Draven's attention was diverted, he began drawing his own energy. Fifteen minutes passed, but that was exceptional considering the amount of time it takes to chant the spell, that wasn't so bad. He had enough energy built up to do as he planned, but the problem was he didn't know the range. In order to execute the attack, and make absolute certainty of destroying the portal, he had to get as close as possible. The only problem was his enemy was right there. On normal circumstances, Draven and Michael are evenly matched. It's a standard 'good always wins' scenario. Unfortunately, that means the bad guy has all the 'good stuff'. Normally, this is equalized by Mike's skills or resourcefulness, but today was much different. Instead, he would have to go all out on this next attack. He rushed towards Draven, faster than he knew he could. Nobody had time to react, but then who does? All could be seen from a distance was a humongous sphere of black covering the entirety of the dark castle, and a mile in each direction. And then it was gone...
PrologueView OnlineMichael's New LifeProloguePrincess Celestia (Edited) Michael looked around. All he could see was darkness. It made sense, darkness was his power. Seeing his fate, he closed his eyes and embraced death. Death was all he could hope for himself, as life was his hope for others. He woke up in a hospital bed. This didn't make sense, as his black hole attack should have atomized his body. After punching himself in the face, he realized this was no lie. It scared him immensely. "Nurse!" Michael looked up, and saw a woman with long, beautiful hair, flowing in a breeze. It perplexed him, as there was no wind present, let alone strong enough to carry hair of that length, for that amount of time. Magic must be at work. "I'm not going to hurt you" Hearing that voice, Michael felt soothed. It still didn't erase the fact that her hair was all over the place. Staring at it made him feel weird, so he looked at her face. She had a motherly smile, and it made him feel strange. "Are you god?" he asked. It seemed like a good question. He was supposed to be dead, and now he's staring at a white gowned woman with a golden tiara on her head. If those wings were anything to go by, she was either god, or his whatever. "No, why would you think me god?" She laughed. Her reaction was that of somebody who wasn't god, being called god. With that out of the way, he asked the second obvious question. "Where am I?" "In Canterlot General Hospital." "How did I get here?" "On a stretcher." "What kind of condition was I in?" "Not good, the doctor said you were exhibiting unusual magic energy from your lower back." "What country is this?" "Equestria." ".........." "...' "...What?..." "I said-" "I know what you said..." This was really strange. Equestria is a name belonging to no country on the planet Earth . The only explanation was, he was truly dead, and in a fucked up reality involving magic that apparently causes less strain on the user, exhibited by the lack of stress on Ms. Golden Crown here. If that were true, he succeeded in bringing the Dark Castle down. The question remains... where is he, and if he's here... Where are his enemies... There is no way they would possibly die, if he lived. Draven was known for living through everything that was thrown at him. A black hole attack that could decimate over a mile would do the job, but Michael survived it. Maybe it was the legendary user no lashback fee? No chance risking anything.... "Where are you from" The woman said. "New York" "Where is that" "New York state" "Where is that" "The United States of America" He paused, deciding it was time to spill the beans. His suspicions about where he might be were clarified by her not even knowing about the best known country in the world.. "I take it you don't know what that is?" She shook her head. "Well, if i am going to tell you everything about myself, can I at least have a name?" "Celestia." "Much better, I'm Michael." he said, extending an arm. The woman, Celestia 'Odd name...' shook it. "Well," he began "Lets start from the beginning. I'm terrible at long stories, so here's the gist in a nutshell." He didn't wait for acknowledgement. "New York City is a very large city. It's well built, so its a community. If you know the place, even a little, you can find your way around. Basically, its a large community where everyone is in your business." "Seems... nice?" "Oh, it is." "There is... just one more thing..." "What?" Celestia paused and looked at him. "With as long as I have lived, I have learned to keep my eyes open. I just want to know if your presence here is anything other than it seems to be. If you are a threat to me or my people, there will be words." She paused, and let the words hang in the air for a while. She took on a serious face and just stared for a while. Michael, not caring, just stared back. "And what reason would I possibly have to incite any violence. Until a few minutes ago, I didn't even know this country even existed." He stared back. "I have no intention to bring harm..." Upon those words, Celestia smiled. Extending her hand once more, she introduced herself again. "Princess Celestia, at your service, then" She smiled. "Princess?" "Yes?" "Well, that explains the crown then." His attention was once again driven to the large golden tiara upon her head. It looked... in place on her body. Maybe it was the dress... or the way she presents herself. Something screamed worthy person. There is also a powerful force emanating from her body. A lot of it... "What is your main concern about my presence?" Something about her... "Oh, nothing." she said with a smile. That tears it... She is the kind of person who would withhold information. Somebody like that is unreliable and dangerous, and somebody dangerous is a potential ally. Dark has handled betrayal many a time, and is not afraid of it. Betrayal is always an option in a relationship. All you must be is prepared. 'Now to see how far this will go...' "Um... Princess?" She looked at him with a little smile. "Yes?" she asked back. She seemed so pleasant... Luckily Michael could see through that. "Um... I was wondering if you could recommend me a place to stay?" He looked down. "I kinda need a place to stay when the doctor lets me leave," he laughed a little, "I cant just stay here..." The princess looked puzzled. Surely she actually knew something about the housing establishments, especially if she were in said town. It would make more sense if this was her capitol city, but still. The question remained... Why exactly had she even decided to check up on him? Surely she had more important things to do than check up on people who appear in a hospital. Maybe she suspected a crime, and it would be easier to send a beautiful and trustworthy person to get the information, rather than an intimidating and burly stranger who's job is to kill people. Another possibility would be people talking about how he appeared where he did. Those people would have to be personally interrogated by Michael, himself. "... Well..." a voice broke his thoughts. "Considering your predicament, I would assume you have no bits?" '...Bits?" "What the balls is a bit?" "Money." She said. To provide an example 'She's likely also a teacher of sorts...' she took out a small golden disc. It was more of a coin, likely it's origins came from early Rome, or it's equivalent in this world. On one side was a comedically simple drawing of the sun, and the other side was a similar drawing of a crescent moon. "I assume you haven't seen one of these before?" Michael shook his head. "Well.... You could always stay with me in the castle..." he offered. 'Interesting...' he smirked.
Intervention Chapter 1View OnlineMichael's New LifeIntervention Chapter 1-Michael had been cleared from the hospital- Upon leaving, the Princess had been very... chatty with him. She seemed very interested with the past that he himself had not even known. She didn't seem to care that he did not have an answer to some of her questions, and she kept asking the same questions twice. If he didn't know any better, he would swear she was using interrogation tactics on him. People passed by her, pausing to look at the black clothed man walking with their beloved princess. Obviously, she hadn't been the person you'd see on the streets every day. It made sense with her being a princess and all. There were likely people from other countries, or even this one, who would jump at the chance to kill an important political figure. Given her beauty, others would have more sinister agendas for her, should she be captured. Important figures tended to disappear in his own world. Looking at the agriculture, Canterlot seemed to be a mixture of renaissance thinkers and modern establishments. Many of the homes looked old fashioned, with a mix of modern themes. The stores ranged from modern music stores to classic blacksmith shops. The people around had a dignified aura. They seemed very rich, and wore very ridiculous clothes. Other than the absurdly large hats he saw all over the place, he also saw these people had oddly colored hair. Was this a trend? The only normal colored hair had insane looking styles. The amount of colors he saw was enough to remind him of 100 animes he might have seen. At this point, he was also answering the excessive and repetitive amount of questions the princess was asking. The strain he had on his mind was not lessened. The time passed had not registered as his eyes glazed over. "Michael?" His mind began to register the amounts of alien magic that began to buzz in and out of his mind. His vision went blurry and he could barely stand. His breathing was shallow. "Michael!" His body began to sway and he felt weak. The golden armor of the royal guards began to shimmer more than usual. The flowing hair of the goddess began to overload his senses with it's magical flow. He dimly noticed the stares he was getting by the few people around at the moment. Wondering why, he noticed two large golden gates closing a massive and oddly shaped building. He barely heard his name being shouted a third time, as the world turned into a blur of a pinkish color. The only shape he could make out was a woman in a dark blue dress standing on one of the top balconies of the building. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Thirteen Hours Later Michael awakened with a pained groan. He knew exactly why he passed out. This happened before in his own world. Magicians under the leech class try to pour large amounts of their magical energy into the bodies of their captives as a form of torture. The alien magic usually becomes too much to the victim, unless the victim becomes accustomed to the magical energy. The victim could explode or have their entire soul ripped apart if kept in that environment for too long. Needless to say, it's a very painful process. He looked around at the room he was in, and saw that it was a fancy looking hospital. Not really a hospital, because he was just laying in a fancy bed. It was a fairly dark with maroon colored drapes on the bed. The windows had their own curtains, that were white colored. The walls were decorated with many old portraits and some new looking pictures. On the opposite side of the room, a small jewelry box with a gold outline was sitting on a medium sized dresser. He appeared to be alone. The door across from him was closed. "Shadow, come." He uttered an audible command. Pieces of his shadow slicked from under his body, and formed a baby kitten which crawled onto his lap and looked at his face. Then the shadow cat ran towards the door and slinked under it. Michael got up from the bed and looked around the room. His clothes were gone and replaced by a white shirt that was way too big for him. He also had been given some pants. The shirt had a drawing of the sun on it. The only thing in the room that was interesting was the small dresser next to the medium sized one. It had a strange glow to it, not normally given by gloss application. Michael felt compelled to open it and took a look inside. He opened the top drawer and found a diary. It's title was written in runes that he had never seen before in his life, but he understood them. The words said Rectorem orbis terrarum. Commentarios Secretorum. He knew the words meant Ruler of the World, The Diary of Secrets. The side of the apparent diary was locked by a key. There was extreme levels of magic energy pulsating from it. Michael knew he should get away from it before he passes out again. He backed away as carefully as he could. As soon as he was as far away from that box as possible, he felt a tug in the back of his mind. Mike knew what this was. He opened the shadow link with his cat to see where he was. The cat was running through classic looking decorated hallways. The brightly colored walls seemed to gleam and strengthen the sunlight glare. Had the cat been a wild demonic creature, or not belonging to Michael, it surely would have perished after prolonged exposure to the massive amounts of sunlight. It would seem that the interior of whatever building this was, was designed to keep presences like the shadow cat away from the inside. The, the cat was lifted into the air. It struggled against the unseen grip, but it's efforts are futile. Whatever grabbed the cat must have grabbed the nip of it's collar, like a mother would. Anyone who has never seen a cat would think that was painful. 'Whatever you do, don't attack or morph.' The cat stood still and heeded the mental command. It locked eyes with is's warden. He was a muscular and tall guy with golden hair with black stripes. This man was also wearing a vest. Shadow was a hostage, so it would play the part... As a cat. "Mew" "Sup cat." The man replied. "Are you lost? You cant possibly be wild because the defenses on this place are so high that small mice can barely get in. Where are you from" "Mew" "I mean you have no collar, but no cat really has one. I mean the pissed off cats who want nothing more than to gauge out the eyeballs of the person who placed the infernal contraption around their necks obviously do..." The man took a sigh. "Whatever. It is just a cat thing, I guess." "Mew?" "Yea, you're right. I'm just over exaggerating things, and I have just gone insane. I was just upset over being captured on the day of the shape-shifter invasion. invasion." "Mew?" "Oh, you weren't there?" The man put his index finger and thumb on opposite sides of his chin, as if to stroke a nonexistent beard. "Well, a bunch of people with weird glowing eyes infiltrated the city through very complicated means. They are able to use magic to transform their bodies into any humanoid figure they could 'sample'. I have no idea how they do it, likely a scanning spell. Whatever they do, it's weird." The man took another sigh. "Anyway, my name's Dawn Chaser." "Mew." "Okay... The Changelings, which is the name of the species, had two base forms. The first form is their natural form. They have greasy black, greasy green, or greasy grey hair. They have very pale skin. They kinda remind me of princess Luna though..." Dawn took another long pause. "Their second form makes them look like large bugs. They have insectoid wings and light bodies. They also have wings and a type of magic drawn from life force and stolen emotional energy. They remind me of the elder race of the princesses, given they have wings and magic use." "Mew." Dawn sighed yet once again. "They overpowered the princess and took over the city... Until the newly wed couple used their own version of love magic, and banished the creatures to the badlands. And that's what happened two years ago." "Mew" Dawn stared into space for a bit. "I have just now begun to realize that I just have been speaking to a small cat that I picked up earlier... I have to go and get a psychological evaluation." Dawn put Shadow back onto the floor. As he began to walk down the hallways, Shadow just sat there and watched him leave. "Mew." Shadow decided it best to return to Michael and let him deal with this crap.
Abnormal BehaviorView OnlineMichael's New LifeAbnormal BehaviorAs Shadow melted down and slinked back to Michael, he only had one thought in that vast emptiness that makes up his semi-split subconscience. 'What the balls...' It had taken approximately seven seconds for shadow to slink back to Michael. During those seven seconds, Michael realized where he was, and just slinked himself out through the locked door. How was he going to explain escaping a still locked room? Windows. The first thing he noticed as he exited the room, was the paintings. Although he saw exactly what the cat saw, the cat pays even less attention to detail than even Michael himself. There were dozens of paintings of seemingly unimportant things. These were obviously priceless pieces of art. If memory served correctly, on earth there was an artist that painted single straight lines on a sidewalk, and gets painted thousands of dollars for it. The lines aren't even straight. By looking at this, he has a better mental picture of what a heavy and pointless spender whoever owns this... castle. Unless this was for charity, this would be a tremendous waste of time and money. "Hey, You!" A disgustingly surfer-like voice asked. Michael turned his body and faced a man wearing thin, purple armor; the color of a high ranking officer in any guard or soldier platoon or fleet. He had two-toned electric and deep blue hair hues in his short hair. He had a normal sized sword strapped onto his side, and his light blue eyes were piercing Michael's soul. This guy began to take cautioned steps towards Michael, but stopped ten feet away. Michael found an itching urge to look for the owner of that voice, because this guy was 'not' the owner of it. The man apparently found Michael's reluctance to respond a tiny bit aggravating. He took one step backwards, and placed a calm hand on his sword. "Excuse me sir, I would like to know if you are the person with that aggravating voice." "Wha-" "Because if you are, and judging by your colors you are a captain, you would have to be a pretty terrible captain to not have your own voice in control. People with rank should not show any accents, or else they could be seen as weak minded. Politicians are always looking for flaws in vocal patterns and other mishaps in physical traits to try and remove those in power. These people are then replaced with people that said politician deems 'fit' for the rank. This individual is sometimes controlled by the politician by a number of means. If that was your voice, then you should work your ass off to fix it." "You should know you insulted the former head of the royal guard, and-" The obvious surfer guard guy was then interrupted. "Former." Michael trolled. "You know what... I'm going to kick your ass to next week. Get over here." The man did not even have a good reason to attack. Something is off here... Unless he is just normally like this, Mike doesn't know this guy at all. This is just abnormal behavior. There was a disorientating flash all of a sudden, like the world's most powerful camera just flashed a miniature sun into Michael's eyes. He was blinded for a moment. He couldn't even hear the rushed footsteps as his would-be attacker closed the gap between them in moments. Michael was completely unprepared for the uppercut that hit him square in the jaw. Time seemingly slowed down for him, and two more punches came at him. He could feel the air displacement, and decided to cover his jaw. As if anticipating this, the armored man grabbed Michael's right hand, and threw him in a random direction. He didn't feel the thick glass, but he could hear the protestant scream it made as he flew through it. He opened his eyes and saw himself twenty feet away from the external wall of the castle, and continuing to gain distance fast. Michael balanced himself out and summoned his shadow crow to keep himself from making an ungodly plummet towards fifty pounds of death. Unfortunately, his attacker was nowhere to be seen. "Well that cant be-" His arm was enveloped in a pulsating and unfamiliar blue glow. He was then yanked towards the ground, his speed doubling every second. Trying to remove the glow was futile. It was simply too strong, and it was making him feel light-headed. Any moment now, he would pass out again. His crow was trying to fly down to him, but every time it got close enough, Michael would be yanked once again. 'Damn, any second and I'll be paste!' As if by some strange miracle, he was able to see his attacker again. The blue haired assailant was standing on the ground, his hand also encased in the same glow. 'So that's how this works?' The man hunched over in pain, and the glow ceased. Michael continued falling, but shadow was able to catch him and halt his fall. He descended down to the courtyard, where the man was still hunched over in pain. Upon closer inspection, Michael could see something familiar. There were shadows coming up the man's body and a few of them were seeping inside of his mouth and nose. He seemed to be absorbing something external, but what it was, is a complete mystery. Upon observing the surroundings, Michael saw they were inside of a large maze. The many passageways were constantly shifting and some of them showed strange statues through the passages. Considering the area they were in hasn't shifted, Michael guessed they must be at the heart of the maze, and the maze was pissed at the cheaters. The only things at this center was the wood-like area behind him, and the marble fountain with a cupid statue on top of it. Unfortunately, Michael was not going to be able to see anymore of the garden. In the blink of an eye, the man had closed the distance between them, and began slashing at Michael's bird with his sword. The blade seemed to hum with an invisible, yet draining energy from Michael. The dizziness took effect, once again. Shadow, being a shadow construct, was always in the condition Michael was in at the moment he summoned it. While flying through the window, his adrenaline surged, and he was able to see things extremely slow. Given the previous fact, the crow was also in adrenaline. Being in this state, Shadow was able to effectively dodge most of the sword swipes without being affected by the magic in any way. But a few tears in the misty fabric that is his body made him convulse slightly. "Shadow, return!" With that verbal command, the shadow was gone. Without the shadow present, Michael would have to outmatch the man without a elevation advantage. That was the only advantage he had considering just standing up in this world made him want to pass out, and the glowing hands only tripled this effect, although it only does so while the glow is near him. Michael wasn't sure if the nausea is halted completely once the glow is gone, or if the nausea is that much closer once it's removed. The man was unaware of Michael's condition, so he attacked with the sword. The first swipe was an immobilization swipe; a strike with the blunt side of a blade aimed at a joint or the head. Michael dodged it easily and pulled out a sword from his jacket. As if anticipating this, the armored man sent a swipe in his direction again, this time aiming for the wrist. Michael did a back-flip to get away from the attack. By the time he was upright, the man had once again closed the distance, and was prepared for another slash. This was no disarming swipe, for the blade was about to slash his chest open. Michael was prepared for this, as this was one of the twelve likely attacks that he thought of in his head. He parried the weapon and begun to twist it out of his attacker's hand. What he hadn't expected was for a glow to appear on his sword and throwing it halfway around the battleground. Several bolts made of the glowing energy whizzed past Michael's head, and several times he felt like throwing up. It would appear that the man had figured out his weakness. He seemed much more reliant on using his powers than swordplay. The barrage continued until Michael noticed something odd; there was a darkening glint in the man's eyes. Michael was familiar with this glint having seen it a few times. His best friend was ripped apart from the inside by that same glint. This was no magic or power, for this was possession. Very few demons could possess another human being, but there are non demons that could use that trick. Michael himself could use a bootlegged version of possession by hiding in a shadow, and controlling one's body. His way allows him to hide in a mirror, and control the original image like a puppet. Unfortunately, demonic possession is harder to pull off, and they are almost impossible to detect unless you are looking for the specific indicators of possession. One is the black glint in the eyes, another would be a constant twitch the victim develops to try and break free of the grip. Suddenly Michael felt pity for this poor soul, and decided not to execute him because of the possession. Now, he was fighting with more intensity and more care for his opponent's well being, as opposed to his evade only tactic. He held his arm out, and the possessed man stopped, waiting for a beam to shoot out of them. After waiting five seconds, the possessed man decided to charge, but it was too late. He was being held still by shadows. "I took you down in ten seconds, you coward demon." The possessed man chuckled in a voice that was different than his own. It seemed older, and had a no bullshit tone to it. Michael wasn't even sure no bullshit even was a tone. "Little fool, you shouldn't meddled in my business." Michael felt as if he had been punched, and his inner logic demon decided to jump out. "Me? Meddle in your business? I wouldn't even have known if you were even a demon if you hadn't decided to throw me out that window! I don't care if you want to be Little Miss Actor of the Mountain of Awesome, you don't do that if you're spying. Since i'm about to rip you out of that poor soul's body, would you mind telling me why you're here?" The demon laughed in his raspy and gross voice. It sounded like a meat grinder just had a giggling child with a broken record player. "Since you are going to die, I might as well tel you. I was here to find and kill the princesses." "Hey, why are bad guys so full of themselves that they just reveal their plans to whoever they are talking to, even when they themselves have the under hand?" "That doesn't matter, but you are going to die." As soon as those words were said, the demon left his host's body, and disappeared in a flash of smoke. 'Damn, he got away. At least I'm sure that Draven didn't survive the explosion. But that demon can cause problems if I leave him be for too long. I better tell the princess about this or something.' A couple of seconds passed, and Michael walked up to the now unconscious, but not possessed man. Immediately, a bunch of heavily armored guys wearing the armor of the royal guards came to the courtyard. They pulled out a multitude of weapons, and aimed them at Michael. "Step away from the royal." one of them commanded.
