"OPEN FIRE!!"

I pulled the trigger, and fired seven shots into three of the armored dogs. Soon the rest of Viper squad fired their weapons, and mowed down half of the dogs. I looked over to Marcus and his squad, and tried the radio. "Echo squad this is Viper squad, do you read!?" I shouted over the gunfire. He didn't reply for a few seconds, and finally said something.

*We read you loud and clear Viper squad! Thanks for the assistance! I think these dog things are pulling back!*

Soon enough, the remaining armored dogs started to fall back into some caves. I looked to my team, and motioned them to move up. We moved out of our cover and quickly made our way to Echo squad. Once we reached their positions I had Liam, and Victor watch the caves that the dogs ran into, and walked up to Marcus. "Good to see ya again Marcus." I said shaking his hand.

"Same here. Those dogs may have looked soft, but there sure were a shit ton of them." Marcus chuckled. "But do you have any idea what the fuck is going on here?"

"That's a big negative. We were trying to find any other squads and contact command, but we heard you guys and made our way here." I said.

Marcus was about to say something, but the noise of armor, and howling echoed through the caves. "Sir, we got contact." Victor said.

"Damn it!" I said, and thought for a second. I knew we wouldn't be able to fight off all of these dogs, so I scanned our surroundings and spotted a small exit. "Marcus, you and me know that we wont be able hold them off forever, and it would be a waste of ammo to fight these mutts. So I say we fallback into that narrow path, and get the hell out of here." I said. Marcus thought for a moment, and nodded in agreement. "Michal, Rick set some explosives on the entrance of the path. Liam, Victor we will cover Echo squad as they move into the path, and covered Michal, and Rick as they set the explosives. Got it!"

"Yes sir!"

"Then lock and load!" I put in a fresh magazine, and aimed my weapon at the entrance the dogs were coming from. "Conserve your ammo. I don't want anyone running dry in the middle of a fucking fight." I said. Echo squad moved through the path, and Michal and Rick started to set the explosives. Soon a horde of armored dogs pored out of the caves, and I pulled the trigger. I aimed for the unarmored parts of the dogs, and fired signal shots. They fell one, by one as I fired every shot.

*Sir, the explosives are set! Lets go!*

I patted Victor, and Liam to fallback, and covered them. We rushed for the entrance as Michal, and Rick covered us. We were almost there, but I was tackled to the ground by one of the dogs. "Get of me you ugly fucking mutt!" I yelled and fired five shots into it's gut. I got back to my feet and bolted for the entrance, and with the dogs close behind. "Blow it!" I yelled over the radio.

*What!? But-*

"JUST FUCKING DO IT!" I yelled. As I made it to the entrance, the explosives went off behind me, and I was sent flying into a hard rock wall. My vision was extremely blurry, and I could hear my squad yelling. Soon four blurs were over me yelling. I slowly fell into unconsciousness, and heard a small voice.

"it's not your time yet."

[Twilights house.]

After a few days of research, and planning Twilight was jumping up and down with excitement as she waited for her friends to arrive. "Ooooo, what's taking them so long?" Twilight said.

"Twilight, are you sure this is a good idea? I mean your going into the Everfree forest to look for some city that probably doesn't even exist." Spike said.

"Spike, I've always wanted to learn more about humans even if they weren't real. And now I finally have a chance to, and I get to with my friends. Which reminds me, are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Twilight asked.

"Naw, I rather just run the library while your gone." Spike said. After an hour of waiting Twilights friends arrived with their saddlebags, and looked ready to go.

"Hey Twi, You ready to go?" Asked Rainbow Dash. Twilight nodded, and pulled out a map.

"Alright, so we're going to the castle of the two sisters, and start heading north until we find this symbol." Twilight held up a picture of a strange red claw. "Once we find this symbol we will say these words. 'Hope is the key' and it should open up an entrance to the city."

"Sounds simple enough, lets get a move on." Applejack said. The girls left the house, and set off to find the lost city of Washington D.C.

[Shades POV.]

I awoke with a pounding headache, and opened my eyes to see nothing but rock. I mumbled to myself, and raised to my feet. "What the fuck happened?" I asked myself. I immediately checked my weapons, and gave a sigh of relief. I had my silenced TR-15 with 5 mag's, my M9 Beretta with 4 mag's, and my Recon sawback Bowie knife. I scanned my surroundings, and found a small cave. I decided to walk through the cave since there was no where else to go.

I continued down the cave, and came across a wide open space that was filled with dead overgrown armored dogs. I was confused at first, but shrugged and walked through the wide open space. I noticed bullet wounds in all of the armored dogs, and found bullet casings on the ground. I followed the trail of bullets that led to a dead end. "They must have blown the entrance." I said. I sighed and looked for another way to go. I found a large cave and decided to see where it leads.

I moved through the cave and began to hear something. I slowly crept through the cave, and found the source of the noise. It was more of those overgrown dogs. I crouched down, and slowly approached them while I pulled out my M9, and knife. Once I was close enough I grabbed the nearest one, and sliced her throat. Once they saw me I aimed my M9, and fired couple shots into two other dogs skulls. When the last dog tried to stab me in the back, but I turned around with my first kill still in my hands. The dog stabbed my meat shield, and I pushed the meat shield onto the dog. Once the dog pushed the corps to the side I aimed my M9, and fired a signal shot into his right eye.

I stared at the corpses for a second, and turned to continue through the cave. "First ponies, and now overgrown mutts." I said shaking my head. "Just more blood to be spilled." I said and gave a wicked smile under my mask.

[Canterlot palace.]

Celestia sat in her throne with a uneasy feeling. She had felt something that she hasn't felt in a thousand years. It confused her a bit. As the day went by she and her sister Luna met in the gardens, and walked together. "Lulu, do you feel a strange feeling today?" Celestia asked. Luna looked to her sister confused.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"I have this feeling that I haven't felt in years. I'm worried that Equestria may be in danger." Celestia said with a worried look.

"I have felt the same thing for the entire day. It is a most heart sinking feeling." Luna said.

As the sisters walked through the garden, Luna noticed something that made her stop dead in her tracks. Celestia looked to her sister as she stared wide eyed at something. Celestia turned to where her sister was staring at, and froze in fear. One of the statues were missing. An important statue. "He...He's gone." Celestia said. She, and her sister stood and stared at the missing statue with fear for at least three minutes. Soon Celestia lowered her head, and sighed. "I feared that one day he would escape, and now that the day has finally come..." Celestia paused for a moment, and continued. "I'm scared Lulu. I'm scared that they will return. I'm scared for our subjects." Celestia said, and faced her sister with a small tear running down her cheek. "I know what that feeling is now. It's hate. Not towards them, but towards myself. What we did was unforgiveable Lulu, and now our unholy past will endanger all of Equestria, and our subjects." Luna stared at the grown, and hugged her sister as a small tear ran down her face.

"Sister, what shall we do?" Luna asked.

"We pray, Lulu. We pray that they will not escape."
