No matter what our differences, we're all ponies.
Chapter 1: Family
Today is a big day. Twilight Sparkle, a student of Princess Celestia, has mastered all of her lessons on the study of friendship to become a princess! Everyone is gathered in Canterlot to celebrate the big occasion; they all gather and cheer, "Princess Twilight! Princess Twilight!" She stands on the terrace and waves to the crowd and we stood right behind her, just like we did all this time since we first met her -- like a family . "The many things Twi learned..." Apple Jack thought, "But now look at her, she's a princess!"
Later on, the royal citizens of Canterlot gather in the grand hall to celebrate. Everyone is dancing, drinking, and laughing. It is all jolly and happy. Apple Jack is having fun with Rarity and Pinkie Pie, not really paying attention to anything suspicious.... She saw that Rainbow Dash and Flutter Shy left the hall, but that was not a concern for her. As time passes Apple Jack begins to notice that a lot of the Pegasi ponies we're not in the hall anymore; even the Pegasi guards. Apple Jack looked out the nearest window to see maybe if they went outside -- nope . The courtyard is empty -- even though a few mintues ago it was filled with ponies; no living pony out there -- except the janitor. But the janitor.... he was not cleaning, no. He was lying on the ground, motionless . Apple Jack ran out of the grand hall about to go to the court yard, but then stopped by two Pegasi guards.
"The area is off limits now." One of the guards rasped, "What are you doing here?"
Apple Jack was trying to think of an excuse, "Uh... well I... was looking for my friends." Whoops... their goes her honesty down the toilet . She actually wanted to investigate the courtyard; aside from working on the farm and being with her friends, she works at a secret arsenal that is located in Manehattan. She actually doesn't work in the area, but she does missions in her home town.
"Aren't you one of Princess Twilight Sparkle's friends?" asked the other guard. The guard seemed younger than the other and friendlier. He had dark blur hair, somewhat messy and his pelt was orange, just like Apple Jacks, but darker. He looked like a guard from the Crystal Empire... but he did not look like a crystal pony .
Apple Jack replied, "Yes, yes I am -- Element of Honesty."
The friendly guard smiled and spoke to the other Pegasi guard, "I'll escort her back to the grand hall." The other guard snorted a flew off, and the friendly one remained... thank Celestia , "My name is Flash Sentry by the way. I'm a new guard at the Crystal Empire."
"You look like it," Apple Jack smirked, "Why is the courtyard off limits anyway?"
Flash was hesitant on his choice of words, "I do not know really... probably some accident happened... it's no big deal."
"Accident... yea totally no big deal." Apple Jack rolled her eyes at the nice buttery lie that he just spoke.
After they slowly walked and talked, the finally made it back to the grand hall. They both assume that they are friends now.... After some laughing and giggling, Flash then got all quiet.
"Um... since we are somewhat friends... right?"
"Yes, of course!"
"Can you keep a secret?"
"Yes!" Oh Celestia, here comes a confession. Apple Jack is not a pope or something!
"Well... um... I kinda have a crush on... Princess Twilig-"
I interrupted him, "You like Twi? Aww that's sweet. Maybe you should go and talk to her then!" And bloody get rid of you out of my face.
"Well alright then, I have to go. It was nice meeting you!" Flash Sentry then flew off the opposite way of the grand hall entrance.
"Thank Celestia" As Apple Jack murmured under her breath she heard a blood curdling scream.

Prologue
The earth is burning. As she slowly walks into the center of the field in front of the Pegasi army, she drops her weapon and puts her hooves on the back of her head. The enemies who she was fighting against for her freedom for years grabbed her and carried her to the cage to deliver her to the Rainbow Factory. Before she got in, she looked back at the ruins of Ponyville.
Ponies.
They were everywhere…
Dead.
Their homes were burning and all of the food rations were destroyed. There was nothing left. All of the living creatures have fled before the Pegasi have attacked. All she could think that the use-to-be lively Equestria will be a strict Pegasi world with the slaves of unicorns and earth ponies. She sighed as she entered the cage. She plopped in a corner and felt uncomfortable of the stench of rotten flesh. As she sat in the cage that was being delivered to Rainbow Factory in Cloudsdale, she had flashbacks of how her friends died. She was there when it all happened, but she ended up fleeing instead of saving them. So much for being honest saying that she'll protect them. Three of her friends died, and two of them lived. They lived because they were Pegasus ponies and they were forced to betray her.
Life changed drastically when they killed all of the princesses. Because the princesses were Alicorns, the Pegasi did not accept them; and so, the Pegasi army killed off all of the princesses. Since there was no power left in Equestria, it instantly fell, and the Pegasi attacked all of the big territories of Equestria: Canterlot, Ponyville, Crystal Empire, Manehattan, Vanhoover, Fillydelphia, Baltimare, Apple Loosa, and even unicorns and earth ponies in Las Pegasus and Cloudsdale.
The poor lonely pony tried to stop the Pegasi army, and well... she failed, obviously. Why would she be in a cage that is being taken to Rainbow Factory? She was hopeless now.
A few minutes later, she made it to Cloudsdale and entered the Rainbow Factory. Her friends, who had betrayed her, where waiting. One of them was the leader of the factory. They had a devilish look on their face as they approached her.
“You’re coming with us,” the leader snarled.
The captured pony sighed, “So much for friendship being magic —“
“Shut up! ” the leader screamed, “Twilight is dead and you can’t do anything about it!”
“Why do you have to do this Rainbow Dash ?”
Rainbow Dash hesitated, “Because I was forced to. I wasn't able to say no.” They went inside the factory. The poor pony could not take another goring scene. One by one, the machines grabbed helpless earth ponies and unicorns, and killed them, using their body to make rainbows for energy.
It was horrifying.
Did they do this to the princesses as well?
They finally came to the storage area and Rainbow opened the door.
“Go in,” Rainbow Dash commanded as the helpless pony entered.
She turned around, "Am I going to be slaughtered in those machines? "
Rainbow just looked at her for a moment and a depressed expression appeared on her face. She closed the transparent door shut and walked off with another pony about to follow her. It was Fluttershy. As she began to walk ,she stopped right in front of the door where the pony sat.
“I am so sorry Applejack.”

“I’m so sorry Applejack.”
