Tsunami slowly woke up and moved his head around. Chrysalis was sleeping, facing the wall. Tsunami smiled as he slowly got out of bed, making sure not to wake her up. He fully got out of bed, and put on his glasses. Tsunami quickly slid towards the bulk steel door. He put his eye into the pupil identification lock, which slowly opened up the door. Tsunami panicked and turned 2D, so he would fit between the doors. He became 3D after fully going through the door, and he opened the door to the bathroom. Tsunami looked into the mirror, seeing a light-blue pony with a darker mane and eyes. He combed his mane, and put on his crown. Tsunami slipped out the bathroom, and began running towards the lab. When he arrived to the bunker door, Tsunami flipped a switch, and the door made a loud screeching noise until it opened a quarter. He sighed and went through the opening. Metro a dark, blue maned, and eyed pony, was busy welding a sheet of metal onto a iron frame. Tsunami looked at the walls, seeing thousands of schematics taped on the walls, but one was on the table beside him. Curious, he grabbed the schematics and looked the paper over. Tsunami looked away the paper, face to face with his son. Metro pulled the schematics away and said, "Good morning father." Tsunami patted his head, and smiled. Tsunami began speaking, "So did the military adviser speak to you?" Metro nodded, and ran over to the other side of the room. He begun pushing small machines off the shelf looking for something. Metro swiped a piece of paper from below a red machine. Metro began speaking the words from the paper, "Metro, we have lost contact with most of the scouting teams in the Ponyville area, investigation is pending to your orders and your father's orders." Metro gave Tsunami a radio, and Tsunami tried to find the right frequencies for the adviser. When Tsunami finally gotten contact and said, "Me and Metro decided to go with the investigation, start it immediately." The adviser hang up, and Tsunami gave back the radio. The adviser ran into the room, and gave Tsunami a contract. Tsunami signed everything, and put the date on top of the paper, sixteenth of April. Metro opened a locker, beside the shelf of small machines. He pulled out two armored Haz-Mat suits. Tsunami pulled one away, and slipped it on, it was a perfect fit. Metro put on a suit, and the helmet. Tsunami began asking, "Why do we need this for?" Metro ignored him and ran out of the room. Tsunami sighed began following. Metro got in the elevator and Tsunami was so close, but the doors closed and descended to the garage. Tsunami forced the extremely strong doors open, revealing the elevator shaft. Chrysalis stood behind him wondering, so she asked, "What are you doing?" Tsunami looked behind him and smiled. Chrysalis smiled awkwardly back. Tsunami began saying, "Work, so don't be scared." Chrysalis slowly backed away, and nodded. Tsunami strained his eyes closed, as he jumped onto the metal wire, sliding down painfully. Tsunami slipped and fell off the wire. He landed on top of the elevator, right beside the emergency door. The door opened and a hoof pulled Tsunami's knocked out body into the elevator. Metro dragged Tsunami to the middle armored truck in the huge garage, and threw him in it. Everypony and human ready for the investigation gotten into their designated trucks, waiting for the leader truck to start. Gordon, the driver of the truck, started to engine. Every truck started their engines, and the guards at the gate opened the iron door. The trucks drove full speed towards Ponyville, not knowing what's happened to the town. InvestigationTsunami woke up in the armored truck, with ten humans and nine ponies staring at him, but Metro was loading weapons. Gordon unbuckled and jumped out of the truck, the breaks were missing when Tsunami got up. The truck slammed into a large tree and made a gaping hole in it. Dark green gas got into the truck through the broken windshield. Gordon took out his crowbar and forced the door open. Metro pulled Tsunami out of the truck, into the gassed streets of Ponyville. All the trucks stopped, and everything from the trucks jumped out, armed to battle. Tsunami got up, and picked up his Trident. He started to walk, steadily breathing in his suit. There were ponies laying dead on the streets, Metro bent over one, and felt her neck. Metro looked up and said, "This one has a pulse" the soldiers ran over to the body, and picked her up. Tsunami looked at her and realized who she was. Tsunami looked up and ordered the soldiers, "Look at the rest of the bodies, they might all have pulses." The soldiers followed orders and each of them went to the bodies, they all checked the pulses to come up with the same answer, the bodies all had a pulse. One of the bodies gotten up, and bit the human's head. Luckily he had the helmet on but the bite made a hole, causing the human soldier to drop, and slowly became unconscious. Metro took out a railgun and fired at the pony, making a hole straight through the neck. Metro yelled at the soldiers, "Get back to camp!" all the soldiers begun running back to the circle the trucks were in. Minutes later, they finally got to camp but the two humans left in the camp were ripped open, blood everywhere. On one of the bodies, there was a green goo, Tsunami got a vile and crouched over the body. He slide the goo into the vile, and closed it. Tsunami yelled at everyone and pony, saying "Retreat, we're outnumbered!" Most of the bodies gotten up, but some was still laying. Private Ryan, one of the soldiers, took out a flare and lit it, which the infected to slow down. Everyone started to take out their flares, until the infected began retreating. One of the soldiers looked behind a truck, and there was a blue alicorn laying there. The soldier looked at Tsunami and Metro while they were lighting more flairs, and yelled, "I found one that looks like she was spared." Tsunami threw the last flare down and Metro was still holding a flare, as they began backing up to where the alicorn was. Tsunami looked over and gasped, the alicorn that was laying there, was Luna. Metro gasped and picked her up. He ran to the only truck that didn't have a dent on it. Metro placed Luna on the chair, and attached a air mask on her. Gordon looked over with his face scratched and battle scarred. Gordon proceeded to ask, "When are we going to leave this place?" Metro was ignoring him and continued to treat Luna. Tsunami walked over to the truck and placed a flare outside of the back door. Gordon looked over at Tsunami and asked the same question. Tsunami replied as he gotten in the truck, "Right now, the soldiers are going to set up a laboratory in the town hall." Gordon nodded and started up the truck to retreat back to the New Water Empire. Creatures Of The MistDays in the safe-house below Town Hall, something appeared on the radar in mission control. Tsunami ran towards the door and pulled the switch to open it, he quickly got in the chair to stare at the blimp. Loud stomping occurred above the safe-house. All the alarms blared throughout the ten football field deep safe-house, the soldiers ran through the halls to the elevator. Tsunami and Metro put on their armored haz-mat suits. The large red door above the solid metal elevator begun to open, the mist quickly engulfed all the soldiers. Furious buzzing came from everywhere, and something grabbed a soldier. It stabbed the soldier with its stinger and the soldier's neck began to puff. He quickly fell as bullets flew across the room at the flying creatures. Soldiers fell faster than anything Tsunami has ever seen. Two soldiers wearing fire retardant suit and flame-throwers ran on the platform. Tsunami dropped his weapon and tackled Metro as fire splashed over them. The mist quickly retreated and the creatures were revealed, they were giant bug-like creatures. Tsunami picked up a pistol and fired at the lowest one's wing, causing it to fall. Metro grabbed it before it splattered on the ground. Metro gave it to Tsunami and asked, "What are these creatures?" Tsunami looked away from the creature to answer, "I remember these from a town, they only came in the mist until the military drew them back." One of the eleven soldiers left ran to the switch and pulled it to close the door. A huge bloody hand stopped the door from closing, the thirteen ones left from the battle looked up. The hand began to bend the door, causing the mist to engulf the room again. The huge creature jumped down, causing the room to shake and killing a couple soldiers. They all fired at the creature, but failed. When the creature got close enough, Tsunami noticed who it was. It was the soldier that fell in the mist, the one that got bit by the pony. It grabbed Tsunami and threw him at a wall. Before Tsunami could summon his Trident the creature delivered the final punch, Tsunami has fallen. Metro yelled, "No!" He grabbed a flame-thrower from a fallen soldier. Metro angrily fired up the weapon, and engulfed the creature in flames. The creature yelled in pain as Metro grabbed his knife and jumped on his back. He put the knife to its neck and sliced its throat. It fell and Metro jumped off of it. He slowly went to his father that's now dying. Tsunami began to say his final words, "S-son remember this" Metro nodded and began to listen to him. Tsunami said a random word, "September" He closed his eyes and released his breath. Metro cried as back-up gotten in the elevator. They noticed the body of the king and they picked him up. Metro stayed in the room, crying. One of the soldiers picked him up and brought him in the hall to put him down beside the emergency door switch. He closed the door with a dead-lock seal by using the switch. Metro stopped crying and sniffled. He gotten up to slowly walk into the mission control. Metro took off his mask, and decided to turn this battle into a war. SeptemberGuns firing as sirens blared. The war has begun, the fight for the cure. Metro jumped into a tank along with Gordon and a soldier. Metro started up the engine and put his hooves on the wheel specially made for ponies. He started to go onto the second elevator, as the alarms made a annoying sound. A soldier started up the elevator as the door above them began to slowly open. Helicopters flew everywhere along with planes and bombs. A bomb completely missed Metro's tank and hit a armored truck. It blew up into napalm, all the soldiers inside became ash. Earthquake, a light-green pony with a bright mane and eyes, were throwing boulders at the Combine and infected. Inferno, a bright red pony with a yellow mane and eyes, was throwing napalm at every enemy he saw. Hurricane, a grey pony with a white mane and eyes, was sitting on a roof of a building watching the battle with a camera. Metro yelled at Hurricane on the walkie talkie saying, "What are you doing, do you want us to lose the battle?" Hurricane sighed and jumped down, straight into the battlefield. Metro loaded the cannon, while Gordon tried to figure out how to load a machine gun. Metro fired at one of the APCs next to the safe-house, Gordon fired at the strider, and the soldier fired his sniper rifle at the combine soldiers. Planes flew over dropping bombs over the infected, blowing them into pieces. A APC rammed into the back of the tank at full speed, causing the soldier to fall out of the tank. As the soldier got up, the infected pushed him down and started to tear out his guts. Metro knew he was gone so he backed up, over the soldier and infected, crushing them to death. Blood splattered everywhere on the streets and mist. Gordon asked Metro, "What did Tsunami tell you?" Metro tried not to cry but managed to say, "September was his last word." Gordon eyes widened and shook his head like he was about to say something. Metro sighed and fired the last tank shell at a APC. Gordon continued firing at the striders while dodging the anti-matter being thrown at him. Suddenly, a nuclear alarm blared through the town, all of the allied troops began pulling back. Metro and Gordon got out of the tank to jump in the elevator. They jumped at the elevator at the last second. The iron vault doors closed as the nuclear alarm stopped. A soldier appeared with a laptop saying, "We need the launch codes." Metro tried to think of what code it'll be. Gordon blurted out, "September." The soldier entered the code and it was correct. Everypony and human ran into the vault as the gear shaped door closed. The bomb broke apart but it wasn't a nuclear device, it was a green gas bomb on the screen. It crashed into the town-hall after a twenty-five minute flight, which caused all the infected to drop and all the mist to clear. The sunshine finally appeared after the months it was dark. Metro ran to Luna, giving her a cure of the infection. Luna slowly opened her eyes as everypony and everyone looked at her. Metro hugged her and cried. December 23, was the day of the funeral. After months of war, the Combine decided to ally with the ponies and provided them with the perfect coffin for Tsunami. Everyone, everypony, and the Combine watched the coffin slowly slide into the water. Tsunami's brothers weren't in the funeral. Metro cried beside Luna, and she tried to calm him down. 2 hours after the funeral, Metro sat beside the grave as a hooded figure approached the grave. He dropped a blue flower and started to walk away. Metro ran up to the figure and asked, "Who are you?" The figure did not look at him and answered, "I'll return when I'm needed just like you, Metro." The figure disappeared and left no evidence behind except the blue flower, left on the grave. Combine's RevengeGordon stopped the truck at a military checkpoint halfway to the empire. Waiting for the marine to notice the truck, Gordon looked up and saw something flying towards the tent. The object crashed straight into the tent, killing marines and injuring some. Metro took out a Spas-12 from the bottom of the seat and threw it at Gordon. Gordon caught it and opened the door. He slowly gotten out and quickly crouched behind a box. Gordon noticed a small stick leg coming from the corner, he thought they were all gone. A headcrab came from around the corner. Gordon took the barrel of the gun and slammed it into the headcrab. Blood splattered everywhere. Gordon loaded the gun and began standing up. He fired at the headcrabs and quickly ran out of ammo. A poison headcrab jumped at Gordon, but luckily he grabbed the headcrab before it attached to his head. Gordon dropped the headcrab and kicked it as it was coming down, causing it to fly all the way across Equestria. He ran towards the remnants of the camouflage tent and started gathering ammunition. Carrying grenades, rockets, bullets, and shells, Gordon began running back to the truck. Metro was still treating Luna, Tsunami passed Gordon a map. Gordon looked at the map and asked, "Where does this lead?" Tsunami chuckled, and got serious to reply, "The Old Water Empire, that may be the key to the cure." Gordon started the truck to begin backing up, running over the remains of the marines and headcrabs. He turned the truck around and started to drive back. Something crashed through the gate behind them and began firing at the truck. Metro took out a grenade launcher and said, "The Combine, I thought they were all dead." He tossed the launcher to Tsunami and he loaded it as soon as he caught it. Tsunami opened the window, trying to find the perfect spot to shoot. Using his hoof, he pulled the trigger, causing the APC to flip over as it went over a ramp. Gordon sped up, trying to get to Ponyville. He saw the bio-hazard gate, and began going ramming speed. Gordon pulled the breaks and turned, causing the whole length of the truck to smash into the gate. The mist was spreading around the truck, everypony and Gordon put on air masks. Metro had to place a air mask on Luna. Tsunami took out a assault rifle and said, "Gordon go to Townhall, and Metro come with Gordon." Metro replied angrily, "No, I'm not leaving Luna." Tsunami understood him for once, and began exiting the truck. Gunfire was happening everywhere in the mist, The Combine was fighting off the Marines and the infected. The Townhall has hit by a rocket, causing the top of the building to crash down on a strike team for the Combine. Metro decided that it was not safe to keep Luna in the truck, so he picked up Luna and followed Gordon. Tsunami was providing cover-fire for Metro and Gordon against the Combine. When Metro and Gordon got to Townhall, Gordon pressed keys on a computer in one of the laboratories. Once he pushed enter, the ground began opening. Tsunami got into Townhall along with the rest of the soldiers. Tsunami yelled at everyone saying, "Get to the Safe House!"
