//-------------------------------------------------------// A Pregnant Problem -by KaBar42- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Bump Appears //-------------------------------------------------------// A Bump Appears "Twilight, she'll be fine."  Big Mac said to his wife, the aforementioned Twilight Sparkle. Having been recently wedded and Twilight now heavily pregnant.  Being nine months in, she was now fretting over the child after getting her hooves on a book describing the complications that occasionally happen to both children in-womb and the mothers. She had gone into obsessive compulsive mode and was now attempting to both baby proof and mother proof the Library. She had already cast spells to pad the floors, remove any sharp edges and splinters, turn the stairs into a ramp, and completely fire-proof everything in the library. Big Mac was worried she was going to overexert herself, and was currently doing his best to calm the worried mare with words. He didn't want to physically stop her, but in cases like these talking doesn't really work. But he decided he'd try just a bit more. "Twi, the book said that complications rarely occur, especially with all of the medicinal magic we have now a days." He stated, but Twilight would have none of it. "But Mac, what if I'm one of the rare cases?" She asked. "I could fall down stairs and injure the foal, or I could be cooking and fall asleep on the couch and then the house catches on fire, or, or, or!" Twilight was exclaiming, until Big Mac interrupted her. How? He licked her muzzle. That seemed to calm her down, and with the magical rush of energy that comes after worrying, her now once infinite magic now dwindled. She was now feeling dizzy and tired. Big Mac realized this. "Come on, lets get you to bed." He helped her up the once stairs now ramp. The sun lowering in the sky. ..................................................................................................................................................................…........................................................................ "Ring!Ring!Ring! "AAGH! Shut up you fucking clock!" I hit the sleep button on my iPhone and laid my head back down. Sleep finally came back to me until… "Ring!Ring!Ring!" MOTHERFUCKER! Fine, I'm getting up. Turning off my phone, I threw my legs off my bed and sat upright. Checking my watch, reading 6:30. Meh, enough time. First things first, bathroom. Walking to my door and opening it. The hall was completely dark as this house was built in the '60s. I walked to my bathroom and did the deed. I then walked to my kitchen washed my hands, and then brushed my teeth. I walked back to my room, pulled on my dress pants and button up shirt. I grabbed my riggers belt with my Berretta 92FS holstered on it and walked out to my truck after saying bye to mom and locking the door behind me. The Ford Ranger with four wheel drive sitting out there in the Kentucky dawn. I started off to my school. And before you go off, no I am not planning to shoot up my school, I am merely an open carrier, as it is legal in Kentucky for an eighteen year old to open carry a handgun. I got to my school after damn near several incidents that happen daily in the East End of Louisville. Parking my vehicle that was definitely more than one thousand feet away. Fucking National Gun Free Zone Act. You can't have a gun within a thousand feet of an elementary or a secondary school. I understand not having a gun on school grounds, but this is fucking ridiculous. Taking the handgun and the two extra mags it and placing it in a biometric safe that was anchored to my truck. I then headed to my school. Trinity High School. Donning my ID whilst walking in there. I checked my watch again. 7:44. And as soon as I thought that the bell rang. Heading from the Rotunda and passing under a covered walkway that was parallel to Flannan hall. I ended up in Old Trinity Hall and ascended the stairs to the third level to my locker. Getting the books that I need, I then headed to second floor, Sheehan hall for my first block class. ................................................................................................................................................. Twilight woke up, groggily. Waking up after overexerting oneself is about as bad as a hangover. She looked to her right and saw something that scared her. Big Mac wasn't there. She quickly composed herself however and rolled herself out of bed. She walked to the door, and started activating her telekinesis, but immediately regretted it as she felt a strong pain in her head. She pushed the door open instead. She walked through the hallway and down the ramp into the kitchen. She looked around, her brain not registering the smell of her favorite food, hay bacon. She eventually located Big Mac at the stove. Cooking the said hay bacon. "Mornin'." Mac said, Twilight mumbling something that Mac assumed was akin to a greeting. Mac just continued frying the bacon. Well, he was, until he heard a crash in the front of the library. "GET BACK HERE DISCORD!" Rainbow Dash's voice sounded. Mac sighed to himself and walked into the front, passing Twilight, whose groggy brain still had not processed the fact that there was two speed demons in her library probably wrecking it. When he got to the door, he was witness to an odd scene. Rainbow Dash was currently chasing Discord around the library, and Discord was worming himself through every nook and cranny. Rainbow saw Mac and yelled "Big Mac, stop Discord!" Mac was curious as to why she was attacking and so asked " What'd he do?" The answer he got was actually quite fitting. "He turned Tank into a slug!" Before Mac could do anything, Discord had stopped in front of the front door, with Rainbow standing in front of the kitchen door. He began charging up what Mac could only surmise would be a chaotic spell, but Rainbow was faster. She charged Discord and tackled him to the ground, causing him to lose focus and cast the spell at the kitchen door. Just as Twilight was walking out. The spell hit her, and caused a large smoke cloud. After what seemed forever for Mac, it cleared. Only to reveal Twilight was no longer there. No one reacted for a long while, all afraid to speak. As if maybe, Twilight would just reappear there. It never happened. The first one to speak was Discord. "Uh oh." ................................................................................................................................................. Fourth block, Friday. The last class of the day, and it couldn't have been going slower. I had made it through second block, and then to first lunch. Then third block, and onto fourth block. I checked my watch, it reading 13:54, 30. Half a minute left. I didn't let my eye wander from watch one bit. Fifteen seconds left. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two one! The bell rang and everyone was immediately out of their seats and in the hall. Proceeding to my locker and grabbing my stuff, I started heading out, until my friend stopped me "Garrett!" Should I stop? Meh, why not? I stopped and took two steps to my right so I was against the wall and not in someone else's way. It was the unspoken rule there. My friend, who was halfway down the hall when he yelled for me, caught up to me. "Hey, Declan the guys wanted to know if you wanted to go to Molly Malone's?" I pondered that for a second. Lets see. Pros: brilliant lamb stew. Cons: kind of expensive, and I would get home late. Meh, why not. "Why not? I have to get a couple of things though, so I'll meet you over there." Without so much as a "see ya!", we temporarily parted ways. I walked out the main door of the rotunda and proceeded to my truck to drop off my stuff, change clothes, and don my handgun. After I had finished everything, I proceeded on to Molly Malone's. //-------------------------------------------------------// Meet Murphy //-------------------------------------------------------// Meet Murphy A Pregnant Problem Chapter 2 I walked out of Molly Malone’s. Their lamb stew is delicious. I always look forward to it. When I left it was about six o’clock, but since it was still summer here in Kentucky it would still be pretty light for a while. My phone rang in my mom’s tone. I reach down and pull it out, thumbing the answer button. I pull it up to my ear. “Hello?” “Aidan, hello.” My mom responded. “Hey mom, how is Florida?” She had left for Florida this morning, only recently managing to get this date off for a vacation. She had waited a while to call me. “Uh, you know. Sunny, warm, beachy. I just wanted to let you know that I had gotten here ok. Your dad won’t be home for about two weeks. He’s in New York, something about a meeting.” Shit. I’d forgotten about dad’s meeting. “Alright, thanks mom. I’ll see you in five weeks. Yeah, love you mom.” We hung up. I kept walking. I was passing between a small restaurant and a second hand clothing store. Something bothered me as I passed the alley, making me stop. The last time I had gotten this feeling was when I was at the pound, looking for sick friend’s dog. I got a feeling that I should walk outside, but decided against it. A couple of minutes later a guy comes in saying that someone’s dog had hanged itself. The dog had jumped off the back of the pickup it was tied to. But the leash was too short and it ended up hanging itself. Poor thing. As such, I was not going to ignore this feeling. I headed down the alley. I got to the end of it. I couldn’t see anything. I felt something small hit the top of my head. Ah, crap.  This is the thunderstorm they were talking about. I guess my feeling was false alarm. I turn to leave, but something catches my eye. This alley, which has some cardboard boxes, refuse, and two green dumpsters. In one of those cardboard boxes, a purple tail hung out. The box was a fridge box, it was laying on its side. With all of the flaps closed, there could be something in there.  I take the Ka-Bar mule I had in my pocket, I wedge the box open. It had been closed with tape. I slice the tape and the flaps open. In there, I see one of the strangest things I had ever seen. It looked like a large dog. Problem was, it was purple and had a horn. It also seemed to have an equine anatomy. Then, to top all of that off, it had a distended belly. Pregnant, perhaps? I lift up one of its hind legs. Yeah, there is a very good chance its pregnant and not obese. It moans and curls itself up. Or, atleast curls as best as a pregnant creature can. Yeah, if this thing is pregnant than one night in a Kentucky rainstorm could kill it. Along with the fact that it had no camouflage and a dog could easily track it. Feral dogs here in Kentucky are beasts, even in the suburban areas. I gently pick it… the… mare? Up, using both hands support it. It wasn’t too difficult. The mare was only about three feet tall, and about three feet long. She weighed about the same as a slightly underweight adult. I get to my truck and switch the mare so I was holding her up by letting her hind legs rest on my left arm. She began to make some weird sounds, and I merely tried to sooth her. By making shh sounds and telling her to hold on. She seems to understand and nuzzles her head into my shoulder. Cute, but I can’t drive like this. I manage to grab my keys and unlock the passenger door. I slide her into the passenger seat. At this point, we’re both soaked. I just have the advantage of not having fur to hold it in. I reach into the backseat of the extended cab, and pull a heavy jacket I keep back there. I drape it over the mare, being careful to keep it off her head. I close the door, and head over to driver’s side. Sliding myself in, I turn the key. The turning engine seems to wake the mare, as she looks around groggily. She eventually seems satisfied, and lays her head back down.  I headed home. (-) After taking about thirty minutes, I made it home. The mare was still sleeping. I gingerly slid out of the truck, and walked over to the passenger side. I pulled open the door, and slid the mare out of the truck. She somehow managed to bundle herself up in my jacket. I walked up to the porch, and doing the same thing as before, I unlocked the door.  Moira, my three legged German Shepherd, came bounding out of the hallway.  She wanted to stand up on her hind legs to sniff our new guest, but her previous asshole owner amputated her back left leg. Piece of shit. I walked down the hallway, passing five bookcases on the way. I head to my room. I set her down on my bed. I’m not worried about her shitting or pissing. The sheets are essentially plastic. Their designed to  be hypoallergenic. Moira has already jumped up onto my bed and has her front paws around the mare. Moira won’t hurt her, she’s too meek to actually bite an animal. I walk back into my living room, I’m hungry so spaghetti with bacon is on the menu. I grab the noodles out of the cabinet and set a pan of water to boiling. Its going to take long enough, might as well go check on the mare. I walk into my room, the door still open. The mare is awake, but seems… drunk. Or high, I’m not sure which. Maybe a mixture of both. She’s looking around while hugging Moira, with Moira reciprocating. I’m pretty sure I heard a couple of giggles. After those giggles though, the most disturbing thing happened. “Why is everything so big?” The mare asked. The mare fucking spoke. So not only is she an oddly shaped and oddly colored mini horse, she is also sapient. Murphy decided to rear his ugly fucking head again. This time in the form of a wormhole in my tv. That’s what I get for being fucking nice.
