A New Drake in Town

     Spike walked with Apple Jack back into town after his near death experience, with Rarity and Drake right in front of them. He wouldn't of cared, that is if Rarity wasn't acting like a little filly showering him with questions.

     "So your a teenaged, male dragon, which is called a drake, and your name is Drake?", Rarity asked just inches away from the dragon as she flirted.

     The purple dragon walking right behind his crush had mix emotions about Drake. On one hand he had saved both his and Rarity's life, on the other he was doing what he couldn't do in 11 years in a mater of minutes. He couldn't desire whether or not to hug him or hate him. He thought back to the events beforehand.

After he had made his dramatic introduction, show off, he practically ran to Rarity. He got all close and they stared at one another. I brushed myself off and introduced myself, he stood up and shook my hand. Than as if on que Rarity jumped up and introduced herself a little to loud. Than it was AJ's turn, which didn't take long. Than Rarity brought up that he must meet everypony else. Talk, talk, talk then AJ remembered that Rainbow Dash was hoisting a Dairying Do bookclub meeting at the library. But than AJ remembered that Big Mac and Apple Bloom would wa

nt to meet him. Yada, yada, yada two hours later and hear I am following the two. Why do I even bother.

      His train of thought was interrupted by, well a train. The four had passed by the Ponyvill train station on there way to the library were he had lived from when he was 5 to now. The walk was longer than Spike ever thought possible.

     AJ noticed Spikes mood right away,"Hay whats getin you down sugercube", she said in a concerned yet casual voice.

     "Nothing just... I... I don't know",he said kicking dust up.

    She took a second to follow his gaze,"Oohh... is somedragon a bit jealous?", she teased.

     "I am not!", he argued.

     "So ya are a bit jealous.", she continued,"its alrigh I won't tell nopony.",she whispered

     "Thanks", he said relieved.

     The group walked for another twenty minutes. As they passed Sugercube Corner they all herd the loudest possible gasp ever then felt a wave of air that made Rarity fall, and as if planed Drake caught Her in mid fall.

     "Haaaa!!!"

     Vvvwosh!

     "It looks like your my hero yet again darling"

     "Just trying to help",Drake said the scales on his cheeks some how turning a slight shade of red."but what I'd like to know what in the hell that was?"

     "That would be Pinkie Pie, pretty soon you'll have the party of your life.",said Spike with a smerk on his face.

     "Is that a good thing?", he asked consciously.

     "Darn totin!",AJ said patting him on the back.

     "Pinkie Pie's parties are to absolutely to die for",Rarity said a smile on her face.

     The trip from Sugarcube Corner to the library only lasted ten minutes. As they approached the Golden Oaks library, which was ironically a giant oak tree. They could hear Dash freaking out, only ever other word could be understood. However her rant was stopped short by Rarity nocking on the door. A few moments Twilight Sparkle (Princes Twilight Sparkle) opened the door to the library. As soon as Drake saw the lavender alicorn he was mesmerized, much like Spike when he first saw Rarity.

     "Hello Rarity, oh... and who is this handsome new Drake?", she said in a kind voice.

     "Um... my name... my name is Drake!", he said trying to be smooth after a rocky start.

     "Hello Drake, I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle, pleased to meet you.", she said trying to be as proper as can be.

     "Princess!", Drake exclaimed, his eyes darted to her sides to see her wings, than back at the head to see her horn. It didn't take but a second to see he made a mistake, and quickly bowed,"your Majesty"

     Twilight giggled," Oh that's quite alright, you don't need to bow"

     "Oh", he said standing up feeling sheepish,"thanks"

     "Where are my manners please come in", she said feeling sheepish herself.

     After Rarity and Drake entered Twilight saw her number one assistant and AJ standing outside as well,"I'm sorry I didn't see you two out here as well come on in", she said to her friends. When they all got inside Twilight brought them to the living room were the bookclub meeting was being held. "Please sit down", she said motioning to the two sofas.

     "So who's the new guy?",Rainbow said pointing to Drake.

     "His name is Drake, and we brought him here to meet you and Twilight dear", Rarity said before the dragon could speak. The next Two and a half hours were sent asking questions and telling stories, most of which Spike toned out. Most of which that is.

     "So why'd ya come ta Ponyvill?", AJ finally asked.

     "Honestly... I'm looking for my sibling.", he said as though ashamed.

     This got Spikes attention, yet he didn't know why but his hart fluttered at the statement.

     "A sister or a brother?" Twilight asked

     "I don't know."he said flatly.

     "You can tell us sugercube, we won't judge", AJ said putting a hoof on his shoulder.

     "I was only a year old when it happened", he said taking a deep breath and continued," my parents just had another egg, and we were all living on a mountain on the far Reaches of Equestria. We were there hiding from a group of dragons who were raising an army of dragons. They needed eggs and hatchlings. In others words me and my siblings egg. They found us after a week, five dragons agents my parents.", tears were now in his eyes," I watched my parents slaughtered in front of me.",tears were flowing like a river now, but he still continued with his sad tail." They took me and the egg, they separated us, put us in carts and we were sent away with other hatchlings and eggs.", he took another deep breath and wiped his eyes," they thought us how to fight and survive. They tried to break me but they couldn't, my hate for them was to great. Then one night about a year ago I killed the guard that watched me and four others.",there came a gasp from everypony in the room,"We went and freed all the other young dragons, the best of us staid and killed the rest of are capturers. After the battle I had found there leader's journal. He had wrote that the date after my capture that the cart that was carrying my siblings egg had been attacked by members of the royal guard. Only one egg was found missing, and it had the exact description of my siblings egg. I've been looking since." He was all the way calm by now,"well, that's why I came here, I felt something calling me here, then I found Spike and Rarity in troble."

     Everypony just sat there for a wile, and let the story sink in. Twilight finally broke the silence," You know, i could get the guard reports from that timeframe if you want, you could find your brother in days with the help of the royal guard."

    "You would do that for me?", he asked looking up at her.

     "Of course, Spike take a letter", Twilight said.

     As if out of nowhere the purple dragon pulled out a quill and paper,"ready"

     "Dear Princess Celestia, a new dragon has appeared in Ponyvill looking for his sibling. We need to know if a dragon egg was rescued by the Royal guard... how many years ago did this happen Drake?", she asked.

     "Over sixteen years ago.", he replide.

     This made Spike's hart skip a beat, he was sixteen years old.

     "Alright... was rescued by the Royal guard Over sixteen years ago with a description of... what did the egg look like?", she asked interrupting her assistant once more.

     "The shell was purple with green dots.",he replied back.

     Spike almost fainted.

     Twilight was stand but continued,"Okay, with a description of a purple shell with green dots. Sincerely, Princess Sparkle", she had to sit down.

     As Spike sent the letter they all sat in silence for half a hour. Until Spike looked sick and let out a berp of green flame. Returning him to normal and lacking a letter appear. Twilight picked it up an read out loud:

      Dear Twilight,

     To answer your questions, yes there was an egg rescued sixteen years ago matching your description. However I think you know who's egg that was, after all he is...

     She read the name to her self before reading it aloud," your number one assistant."
