"Night Burn woke up hearing a crashing noise on the bottom floor. She pulled herself out of her bed and turned on a lantern; then she grabbed it with her mouth and walked downstairs. "

This story is about an epic battle. (It kind of reminds me of the book series The Seven Sleepers. Or anything else that has to do with war and then a 'new world').
A normal pony who lived in ponyville wakes up to a war raging around her. She wakes up 2000 years later finding the world changed.

"It all Ends Here"

Night Burn woke up hearing a crashing noise on the bottom floor. She pulled herself out of her bed and turned on a lantern; then she grabbed it with her mouth and walked downstairs.

“Rocky… What in the hay are you doing?” Night Burn asked groggily. Her grey dog whimpered and clawed at the door. Night Burn set the lamp on a nearby table and walked over to the door. Rocky kept scratching under the door. As she opened the door an alarm went off. Rocky whimpered again.

“What in celestia is going on?!” Night Burn said, this time wide awake. She flew out the door and looked up. The sky was ablaze with fire, and bombs were falling out of nowhere. Night Burn rubbed her eyes with her hoof hoping it was all a dream, but after several attempts on pinching and throwing cold water on her face she was horrified to realize it was all reality.

“Don’t panic…” She told herself, but as the bombs and fire was coming closer she had no choice but to run for her life. She grabbed Rocky and flew as fast as she could into the forest. Other ponies were following her. A few of Princess Celestia’s royal guards were yelling at the fleeing ponies.

“MOVE IT! MOVE IT! MOVE IT!” They yelled at the top of their lungs. After it seemed like all the ponies were inside the forest. They did a quick protection spell and followed. (Including Shining Armor). After all they couldn’t do anything else about it. The bombs

and fire started to spread quickly. Night Burn looked up and noticed Rocky was nowhere in sight. She looked around for him. She quickly spotted him going near the fire.

“Rocky!” Night Burn screamed in her mind. Rocky was her only friend. Of course he was just a dog, but dogs are a pony’s best friend. She ignored the guard’s warnings and flew faster than she ever had flown before. She was just about to grab Rocky when a huge rock fell off of a building. She tried to grab anything, anything at all. But she had failed. She could already feel the rock’s mass on her body, driving her into the ground. She watched Rocky also get crushed. She blinked, everything seemed blurry. Night Burn couldn’t move. The last thing she saw was an alicorn laughing in front of her. That’s when everything turned dark.
