Chapter 1
     Spike set down the little phoenix and happily turned around. He walked over to the door. Suddenly, he belched out another letter from the Princess.
     "That was fast," he commented.He rolled the parchment open and began to read softly. "Dear Spike, I am delighted to hear that you will be staying with us ponies. You are a very special dragon to us. You don't need to worry about those teenage dragons. I dealt with them accordingly for ruining that letter earlier. They've generously volunteered to take part in the Lunar Inhabiting Program."
     Spike sighed with relief. No more trouble from those guys. Hopefully, they'd learn how to act nice on whatever program they were doing. Spike resumed reading.
     "If you wanted to know your history so badly, you could have come to me first, Spike! I would have gladly explained everything to you." Spike thought and wondered why he hadn't thought of that sooner.
     "It all happened one day when Luna and I were young filies..."
