"I'd be glad to let you continue, Pinkie, as long as you can be quiet. I just got my new book! It's the diary of Starswirl the Bearded! Well, that's the title, it's a biography."

Star Swirl went to school early, in fact, he was mentored by Celestia as well, for his gifted magic. When he was only six, he created his first spell, one that could turn an apple into an orange. Twilight didn't realize that the orange spell was created by Starswirl! At age six, too! Twilight her self hadn't even created a spell, unless you counted what she wrote after Starswirl's unfinished one.
