Blueblood goes on an epic quest to save Equestria from an evil army of robot ponies with surprisingly better hair than him.
The Day the Robots Attacked
Blueblood was sitting in his usual spot at the Royal Dining Table, popping berries in his mouth, properly of course. It was a usual day, at the usual Royal Dinner, in his usual seat, eating his usual entré. He sat with all of the Royals, discussing royal things. Just around 6:30, a mail pony would come in with the latest news in Canterlot. Yet, today, he came in worried.
"Captain Armor!" said the mail pony to the Captain who was dining. "Robots are invading!" Captain nodded as if 'Go on'. "With stylish good-looking hair!" Blueblood gasped and stood up, pushing his chair back, falling to the ground.
"Let me see these robots!" commanded the self-centered prince. Shining Armor nodded as they briskly followed the mail pony to the war room. A picture of a grey robot with stylish good-looking light brown hair popped up on the screen. Blueblood sneered.
"Let me guess; you photoshopped it. Nopony can have as good hair as me, the fabulous Blueblood!" Blueblood exclaimed. The mail pony shook his head.
"You tell me lies!" Blueblood shouted.
"Blueblood. Eat a snickers. You get a little angry when your hungry," Shining Armor said as he handed a snickers to Blueblood that came out of nowhere. The angry prince took a bite.
"Better?"
"NO!" Blueblood said with rage. "They still have better hair than me! I need to go and stop them!"
"Ok, good. You shall go with three other lucky ponies into the middle of an active volcano to stop my device. Have fun, good luck, and stay safe! Just follow the red arrows to my lair, and I hope you survive!" said an ominous voice. A trail of blinking red arrows pointed a pathway, and three ponies appeared out of nowhere. They were Roseluck, Fleur De Lis, and Derpy Hooves.
"So, I heard a voice telling about following arrows?" Roseluck said.
"And an active volcano?" Depry continued.
"And lucky ponies?" Fleur ended.
"Ok, so I guess you are the other three," Shining said. "Good! Now you go!" He pushed them down the pathway of arrows. Blueblood faced his challenge ahead. He will get his good-looking hair back.
"Are you sure this is the right path? It looks like we will be walking in them middle of nowhere," Roseluck said. Blueblood glanced out to the road ahead. She was right; it was the middle of nowhere. Blueblood shook his head at the thought of this not being a good idea, and quickened his pace. He wanted to have the best hair by sunset at least. The three mares followed, easily getting tired from the fast pace. Soon enough, they were on the outskirts of Canterlot, considering it was a big city.
"Um, Blueblood? Why were we sent on this quest?" Derpy questioned. "Can't the elements of harmonicas do it?"
"Derpy, I'm pretty sure you mean the elements of the Humane Society," Fleur corrected.
"Isn't it the elements of harmon- never mind," Roseluck sighed as the two mares bickered. "It's like I'm the only smart one," she murmured.
"Ladies, ladies! Please, I know I'm handsome, but you don't need to argue over me," Blueblood said, breaking up the fighting mares.
Derpy paused. "We weren't talking about that."
"Oh, sorry?" Blueblood said, blushing.
"Um, maybe we should find some shelter? It's getting dark, and we shouldn't travel out in the cold, we could get hypothermia-" Roseluck was cut off from her monolouge, because everypony else wasn't even paying attention.
"Hey! We should find shelter!" Fleur exclaimed as if they never heard Roseluck.
"Yea! That's a great idea!" Derpy agreed. Roseluck groaned.
Why did I agree to do this? she thought as she trotted into a near-by cave, where everypony else was taking shelter. She lay down, trying to at least get some sleep. She was going to get back at those three for being so stupid.
After a blissful night of rest in the cold, wet cave, Fleur De Lis woke up to the beautiful sounds of morning. Haha, just kidding. Roseluck was screaming in everypony's faces to get up.
"Get up everypony!" Roseluck said as she trotted outside. "We need to get this show on the road! Now, since you guys want to take it slow and dumb, I will lead for the rest of the trip, making it go way faster. We will walk at a fast pace, but not too fast as we could tire out early. Now, come on! We're burning day light!"
Fleur looked outside. "The sun hasn't even rose yet. We probably will not see the arrows."
"Not when they're flashing," Roseluck stated as she waved a hoof the the blinking arrows.
"I'm not sure about this. I need my beauty sleep," Blueblood said with a dramatic hair flip.
"Ya know, the sooner we leave, the faster you'll get better-looking hair, which means the better beauty rest you get," Roseluck reminded. Blueblood perked up right away.
"Let's go then!" Blueblood said.
Derpy groaned as she stood up and walked outside. "Might as well get this over with."
"That's the spirit! Come on, let's get this over with!"
