Chapters Over A Light-grey Rainbow
"Hey, Sunrise Rust, what are you studying for, anyway?" asked Spark, a baby Electricity Hydra.
Spark wasn't the Hydra that everyone knew and loved, oh no, Spark was an Electricity Hydra, a baby Electricity Hydra, to be exact. She only had one head, as a Hydra starts splitting heads at about five years, and she was docile, obedient and loyal, and did whatever Sunrise Rust asked her to. Spark was also different in coloration, instead of purple or black bodies, she had a dark-orange one, her stomach was colored light-grey and her figure was more plushy, with curved edges instead of sharp points, and her size was noticeably small, even for a baby Hydra.
"Spark, isn't it obvious? I'm studying the nature of Jackalopes! Didn't you know? You have a friend Jackalope! These creatures have long antlers and a body similar to the well-known..."
"Yes, I know. Sunrise, I'm not as dumb as you think I am. I'm actually pretty smart for a- woah!" interrupted Spark. Her speech was cut off from a telegram from the Princess. Whenever Solis wanted to speak to one of her students, she telegraphed them VIA special helpers, like Spark, for example. A scroll jumped out of her mouth.
"Ooh! A note from Princess Solis! I wonder what it's about! Last time it was about this book of creatures... oh! Yeah! I was reading the page on Griffins, yes, interesting... ooh! I didn't know that... Spark, come and check this out!" cried Sunrise Rust. Spark wasn't paying attention though, as she was glancing at the scroll.
"To Spark and Sunrise Rust: I humbly invite you to the grand coronation of Princess Mun..." read Spark. "...That's all there is."
"No, that can't be right!" said Sunrise. He snatched the scroll off of Spark. "She must've been talking about her sister! Solis is a tad greedy, she'd never share her throne! Poor Mun, we must stop Solis, before Mun gets hurt!"
"Alright, but can we get a carrot dog or something on the way? I'm starving..." groaned Spark. Sunrise was about to say yes, but closed her mouth and flicked through a book.
"Teleportation should get us there nice and quickly... alright, lets go!"
Author's Note
Yes, I know about the mass of dialouge. Later in the story there won't be hardly as much, so expect to see some better plots develop!
Over A Light-grey Rainbow
It took a solid ten seconds before Sunrise Rust arrived at the coronation. To be honest, it was because she messed up a couple of times, but at least she arrived there in the end.
"Solis! Stop this at once!" cried Sunrise Rust. Solis looked at Rust with a puzzled look.
"What's the matter, Sunrise Rust?" asked Princess Solis.
"You're going to hurt Mun! Don't sweet talk your way out! I know your secret!" replied Rust. Solis chuckled and looked at Rust with a truthful eye.
"Oh, Rust, it's okay. My days are almost over, so I decided that I should dub Mun the Princess of Equosia," explained Solis. "it's alright, I mean, she could use a little help, but the guards will sort out everything, so you can go back to studying. I want you to remember pages thirty-seven and thirty-eight by tomorrow afternoon, got that?"
Spark was listening too, and was getting a bit confused.
"When are we getting that carrot dog?" asked Spark.
"...Now. We're leaving, thanks, Princess Solis!" replied Rust.
"YEAH!" cried Spark.
She just knew that Mun was going to love her hats!
Diamond Dust was a hatmaker, she used all sorts of things to make beautiful and great-quality headpieces and hats. She wasn't introduced to gems yet, as Reli hadn't invented the right tools, but Diamond Dust searched for the perfect shiny bauble that might improve Princess Mun's lovely headwear. The shiniest thing she could find was a saucepan, so she decided to smelt it and mold it into the perfect crown. Diamond Dust was an ironworks pony, too. She had started her carreer when she found a glittering bracelet underneath a rock. She didn't know what to do with it, though, and wore it until somepony wanted to buy it. Unfortunately, she wasn't having any luck, until the door's bell chimed.
"Welcome to Diamond Dust's Hats, how may I- *GASP*!" said Diamond Dust. Standing right in front of her was the 3rd most known fashion pony. Mirror! Mirror's real name was unknown, and she preferred to be called Miss Mirror, but since it was a Thistleville pony, she didn't bother saying.
"Oh hell-oh miss-es Dia-mond Dust! You have a spec-tac-u-lar store here! Mind if I get some fedoras for my meeting? If so, sprinkle them with some grated silver p-lease!" asked Mirror.

It was the 6th century, the time of when ancient forms of ponies existed, called Reli. They weren't your average pony, like Earth Ponies, Unicorns, Pegasi and Alicorns. They were much different. They had different types of power, like instead of a unicorn only having magic that suits its personality, the unicorn used an element. Each pony had a different element, some better than others, but there were six elements that everypony went scrambling for, and this is the tale of those six ponies.
"Everypony, one and all, it's time for the Summer Sun Celebration!" announced Princess Solis. Princess Celestia wasn't born yet, hence she was an Alicorn. Instead of Earth Ponies, Unicorns, Pegasi and Alicorns, they had Hearth Ponies, Ancicorns, Regasi and Curiocorns. Most ponies gathered around to the center of Thistleville to see the famous Curiocorn raise the summer sun.
"Where did Princess Mun go?" asked an orange Ancicorn.
"I heard Mun was banished to the moon!" replied an aqua Regasus.
"Everypony, please, calm down, Mun is safe, I assure you, now please, enjoy the setting of the night and raising of the day!"
Now, as you may have noticed, Solis was basically the Celestia of the 6th century, and Mun was the Luna. Solis kept the six elements, like Princess Celestia did before the Main 6 arrived. The six elements were Kindness, Generosity, Loyalty, Honesty, Laughter, and, the most powerful, Magic. It was said that the pony who received the element of Magic was qualified to become a Curiocorn, even if the pony was still little. Solis was frightened at the sound of there being a smudge of royalty to share, so she sent her sister, Mun, to the moon and kept the elements in a very safe dungeon, where they rusted and, as Solis hoped, lost their powers. As the Summer Sun Celebration was happening, a red Ancicorn was shut up tight in his bedroom, reading a book about the history of Thistleville.
