Since the beginning of Equestria, ponyfolk have wondered: How was the Cupcake invented?
It was a bright sun shimmery day in Ponyville, and in the local bakery of Sugarcubes and Corners there was a bright pink pony by the name of Pinkie Pie,who was having a relaxing dinner with her pet Gummy as the always did when it was 71 degrees outside. They'd eat some Carrotdogs or Ice cream and would talk about food, or party's, or the latest improvement on the Party Cannon Mach 37, the latest in her new line of Party Cannons for Young Ponies, Ponies, And Old Timers (Warning, Cannons and Old Timers DO NOT MIX and therefore we are not responsible for any Heart Attacks or Strokes that may occur when using one of our products.).When suddenly, an idea which would not only astound all of Ponykind, but would result in the creation of time suddenly came to Pinkie.
She raced down the hall, into the kitchen and pulled a cake out of the oven which was odd since the Cakes were gone and she hadn't gone in the kitchen that day. She then raced to the Cupboard and grabbed a Cup. Afterwards she went to the Lab coat emporium and bought a Lab coat and goggles. She said something about the dawn of creation was upon them and that she didn't have any bits at the moment so she would give them a banana in a bit if they would just wait and the she ran out the door but because she talked fast no one could write down this event that would prove as evidence that what I'm saying is true and that I do NOT need to be thrown in a mental hospital. She ran to the bakery and started drawing up diagrams and the entire Scientific Method stuff in 6 seconds flat and then prepared to experiment.
She carefully took a knife, and using a secret Pie technique that her dad had taught her earlier, cut the cake slower then a turtle. She then took the slice, and with very delicate hooves...smashed the cake into the cup.
All of Equestria was Quiet it seemed, but for only a moment.
Then beams of light and sparkles and birds and frosting and cotton candy and Bruce Willis's Pony counterpart and rainbows and Russian Unicorns and anything you could possibly imagine (Except paper, paper isn't allowed in this establishment.) was twirling around like a giant ice cream cone! Then Explosions! More explosions then that movie called Explosion (Which, by the way, had a lot of Explosions.)! Then it was all quiet except for that bird outside the window yelling and screaming like some bird killer was out there.
Pinkie then pointed at gummy, who proceeded to sing Hallelujah! As there on the counter, shining brighter then Shining Armies Armor,was none other, then a Cupcake. A C-U-P-C-A-K-E CUPCAKE!!!
One with Pink frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and vanilla flavor, carefully served on a silver platter. Next thing you know! Angels sang in a bunch of beeps! First the Angels Beeped, then some others beeped, soon ALL OF EQUESTRIA WAS BEEPING! AND THEN!!!!!!!!!
Pinkies alarm clock woke her up. She headed downstairs, and ate a Cupcake.
