The simple days.

Pinkie's day.

Previous Chapter

The pink energetic mare awakes from her happy and very exciting dreams, to get out of bed and work on her daily chores. The first of which, is getting some batter ready to make cupcakes. The mushy batter starts to become smoother as the pink mare mixing it continues to stir until she feels it's ready to be put into the cupcake tins with the cups in it. Although she likes making cupcakes, she had always dreaded having to wait for the baking to be done. The beginning of her day has started, and the eerie patience needed for finishing the cupcakes had her thinking of something to do until they were done. A huge amount of the batter was not used, and she found another tin to make cupcakes with, the pink mare grabbed the tin and began to pour more into it out of sheer boredom, and this had been one of her hobbies. The pink mare had many hobbies, and this was one of them, but she had nearly made this a perfection she had been doing.

"I think I better check on the cupcakes in the oven, I've been leaving it like that for about half an hour now." The occupied pony took a break from what she was doing and went to check on the cupcakes in the oven.

The cupcakes in the oven were done, and now all she had to do with them was unload them and frost them, which doing the frosting part was one of her favorite parts of making cupcakes, besides eating them that is. Since the cupcakes were now done, she had decided that it would be easier to let them cool down before unloading them. The job was a lot easier said than done, for she also had to wait to frost them, which required them to be unloaded. In order for her to keep her patience, she went back to what she was doing before making the decision to go check on the cupcakes that were in the oven, she was making batter for cookies, and had stopped before she had put the chocolate chips in, and when she did this, she decided to also just do a big circle so it would spread more evenly. The process worked, and she had less work to do and a lot easier things to do, after finishing the part of putting chocolate chips in it, she grabbed a wooden spoon and started stirring the batter and chocolate chips together. The time she had finished was about the time the cupcakes had finished cooling down enough for her to unload them a lot easier and not get in any hassle with the heat from the cupcakes that had emitted earlier. The early morning chores were almost done, and Mr. and Mrs. Cake had awoken to find her doing some of the morning chores before they could even start, and they thanked her in return by letting her take three cupcakes with her on her way to see Rainbow Dash.

"Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Cake! I'll see you later!" Pinkie said as she walked out the door. The cakes waving bye to her and allowing enough time to finish the cookies and cupcakes.

The joyful jumping of Pinkie had been somewhat a wonder about why she has never run out of breath, especially with how often she does it and how long she can sustain doing that. The question remained, but had a long answer that nobody but the one who originally came up with it actually understood, and that pony was Pinkie Pie herself, not seeming as smart as Twilight, she knew a lot more than she had let onto, she had said something about the 4th wall quite a few times, but no one she talked to believed the 4th wall could be broken, not even a pony like Twilight believed that with pinkie's figure and antics, could break the 4th wall, but as always and somewhat mysteriously random, Pinkie goes from one side of town to another in 5 seconds flat, and pops out of boxes at her own free will. The pink mare enjoys pulling these joyous surprises as much as she loves eating cupcakes, but her top favorite thing to do was make her friends smile, which in particular she was the element of harmony for, and doubting that is just about as bad as doubting she can break the 4th wall, and most ponies knew that even if it wasn't possible, Pinkie would still prove you wrong about the 4th wall. The hopping became a thing that not a single pony would be worried about anymore, especially with how much Pinkie understood it herself. The one place she was going to first had become her main destination to have fun with her friend Rainbow Dash. The two ponies loved pranking other ponies. All except one pony would ever fall for the pranks, and that one pony was FlutterShy, who as shy as she seemed to be, knew a lot more about the pranking duo, and could easily outsmart them and get them to fall for it themselves.

"Rainbow Daaaaaaaaash~!" The pink mare below had yelled to the house of Rainbow Dash, who in particular did not respond at first.

"Hey Pinkie! I was just about to fly over to your place and see if you wanted to prank some ponies!" The rainbow pegasus said before dropping from her house and floating down to land softly and with ease.

"Oh, silly, I came here to see if you would want to do that." The pink mare said with her light sky blue eyes looking at the cyan pegasus, whose rose red eyes looked back at her.

"The funny thing is we were both looking for eachother. I guess we might as well plan our prank now." The athlete told the party pony.

The two headed off for the supplies needed for the prank they were going to set up, and not a moment too soon they decided to pull a simple but complex prank, a flour bag in the tree, the pegasus hiding in a bush, and the pink mare hiding in the leaves of the tree. The prank has been set up, and the only hard part was waiting, and that's when they decided to use floss to be able to let the bag of flour drop and pour flour on the unsuspecting pony. Before the prank could be actually pulled, a voice in the distance had called to Pinkie's friend Rainbow Dash, and the pegasus popped out of the bush and flew past pinkie into the air to see who was calling out to her, the pink mare recovered her balance on the branches and looked to see who it was, and sure enough, her friend Twilight had seen her cyan friend before falling for the prank. The violet mare the two had popped out to see had nearly tripped the first wire which would have gotten the two to get ready to run. The second wire, would have gotten the bag of flour to pour it's contents all over the pony. The violet mare looked at the two and said

"What are you two doing out here? it almost seems as if you're playing hide and seek in plain sight"

The pink mare, and the other two had sat there and watched as the violet mare had soon bid them farewell.

The day had still continued on, and no one had really any idea what they would do next, all except for Pinkie, who at the moment only thought of pulling her party cannon out of no where and firing it at random on any surface which a bunch of decorations would appear from the resolution of the blast. The only other reason Pinkie had not pulled out her party cannon, was because everyone was not asking about a party, but more likely a hang out, so she had decided to let them have the chatting make up for a party.

The party pony and her friend Rainbow Dash headed out from Fluttershy's an hour after twilight did. This was not uncommon as most ponies would be getting ready to head to bed after a long day of play and fun and other stuff that both Rainbow and Pinkie could've done themselves. Although the day was almost over, they had still been energetic and decided to have Pinkie be the Bait and Rainbow pull the prank. Since it was just a thunder cloud, Rainbow knew she could just kick at it and let the roar of thunder boom out startling the pony that Pinkie was talking to. The tactic worked for about 5 ponies, except for the Three guards they ran into, they flew overhead and spotted Rainbow before she could do it, even if it was dusk.

The pink mare and her friend had called it a day after getting caught 4 times, and pranking 6 ponies. The two said their farewell, and pinkie had returned to Sugarcube Corner. The exhausted mare had went upstairs and got into bed falling asleep in a matter of seconds. The only thing that made it worth while was that most of the ponies got a good laugh out of all the pranks pulled that day. Pinkie fell asleep calmly, and had nothing more than a good dream about cupcakes, friends, and partying.
