"There you go ma'am, all ready for your husband's birthday tomorrow" you say handing a bunch of roses over to a middle aged mare
"Thank you very much" She said gracefully, than hoofing over some bits to pay for the roses. She then turns around and walks towards the door.
You take the bits from her and open up the cash register and place the bits inside and then close the register.
You currently stand behind the counter of a flower shop, reading the newspaper. This flower shop is in fact a family business on your mother's side of the family. No, you don't work there, but you usually help out there every now and again.
"StarGazer?" a female voice calls out from the back of the shop
"Yeah Mum?" you call back
A unicorn mare walks out from the door. This is your mum Rose Petal. The colour of your mum’s coat was a pinkish red and her mane was a light brown with yellow highlights. Her cutie mark was a rose representing her talent for flowering.
"You've been working hard, how about you head home" she says with a sweet smile
"Are you sure?" you question
She replies with a simple nod "Business is running slow today anyway, and you must be bored out of your mind" she finishes with a little giggle "Now head off home"
You give a smile and nod then jump over the counter and head towards the door
"How many times have I told you not the jump over the counter?" Your mum says unimpressed
You put your hoof up to your chin and start to think, "About twelve times" you say with a smirk
"Yes, now go" she says before turning around to walk to the back of the shop.
You open the door which makes a ring, you step outside and take a nice breath of fresh air. You live in the city of Fillydelphia and you were happy by the fact that you grew up here. Before spreading your wings you take another breath of air. You start to flap your wings and soar off into the sky and headed off home. You flapped your wings as fast as they could go. Feeling the wind on your face brought you happiness.
Your grandfather was the one who taught you how to fly. Your grandfather was the former coach of the wonder bolts, and he even taught you some special movements for your wing that would help you fly faster.
You start to feel a little pain on your wings, so you land on a nearby cloud and start to check your wings to make sure that nothing was out of place
"StarGazer" another voice calls out your name
You look over to the sauce of the voice to see to see one of weather ponies flying over to you. This stallion goes by many names like; Frost Bite, Weather Pony, but commonly used by you, Dad. Your Dad was a battleship gray Pegasus, his mane and tail was white with an ice blue streak going through it. His cutie mark was a gray cloud with snowflakes coming from it.
"Yeah?" you ask
"I've told you time and time again that you shouldn’t be standing on the clouds over the city, you could get into some serious trouble" He explains landing on the cloud as well
"Oh come on, it's not like anyone can see me" you say
"True, but if the head of the weather see's you, who knows what could happen" he say confusing you
"But... you're the head of weather" you say with a confused look on your face
"I know" he says with a chuckle "Next time I won't be so soft on you" he continues flapping with wings, now hovering in the air "Now off the cloud"
You roll your eyes and start to hover in the air as the cloud continues to move on its path.
"See you later" you say to your dad then flying back towards the house
After about a minute of flying, you land at the front door of your home. You still lived with your Mum and Dad. Hey, you're still 23 so it's not a big deal. You quickly trot upstairs and head towards the bathroom to take a shower.
After a couple of minutes of a nice hot shower, you turn the water off, and you grab a few towels and look at yourself in the mirror. You've been told multiple times by your relatives that you're such a handsome colt. Your coat was ash gray, a couple shades lighter than your dad's coat. Your mane and tail was brown colour but darker than your mum's mane, on the ends on your mane had a light blue colour.
You quickly dry yourself off and head into the kitchen to grab something to eat and to fill up your bottle with water. After a quick snack, you head back out the house. You take the back door, since you lived behind a huge field where a bunch of kids hung out and play. There was a racing track as well so that you can practice.
You just LOVED to race, it's been a hobby of yours for years. You even got your cutie mark from racing then you were six, not to mention that you broke the Fillydelphia Young Pegasus Racers record, or simply know as the F.Y.P.R. Eighteen years later, it still hasn’t been broken, so it's one of your proudest accomplishments.
You place yourself at the starting line of the race track and get into the proper racing stance. You count up to three before firing off down the track, using your wings to propel you at top speed trying to beat your own record.
After doing three laps of the track, you stand at the finish line a take a breather so that you can get ready for another five laps. After a quick drink of water, you're back to flying around the track before...
"Hey, Star" A voice hollows out from behind you
You turn towards the voice to see one of your friend, Card Shuffle, but you just call him Shuff... which he hates. Shuffle was a big softy, as he calls it being a gentle colt, though he's not much of a softy when either you or any other of his friends are threatened. He was a slightly dark cyan Pegasus, though he rarely flies, but the only time he uses his wings is to lay down on a cloud to get away from it all.
"Hey Shuff" You say greeting him
"I've told you multiple time to stop calling me that" He says unimpressed
"If I stop, then where's the fun in it for me" you say with a smirk, he still looks at you still unimpressed "So have you been?"
Card Shuffle's life goal is to own his own card shop, his cutie mark was a royal flush of cards
"So what have you been up to?"
"Just practicing" You say with a smirk
"I can see that" He responds with a chuckle "Do you ever get bored of just practicing all day?"
"No, why?" you question
"Because you've been doing the same routine for year now"
"I have?"
"Yeah, you have" Shuffle begins "All you've done is, come home from whatever you've been doing then come out here a practice"
"And... that's a bad thing how?" You ask
He doesn't say anything, he just face hoofs. You're not sure if you should take that as an insult.
"Okay, I know you have a reputation around here as Fillydelphia’s fastest flyer" He says, in which you nod proudly "But there is more you should do then practise"
"Hey, I do more than just practice, I hang out with you, Altair, Free Runner, Dark Flair and all the others whenever you guys have time off work" You say defectively "We even hit up the bar a couple days ago"
"Yeah, but the day after that you returned to your practicing routine. Even when it's raining, you still practice" he says with annoyance in his voice
Why would he be annoyed with you just because you're practicing what you love doing
"And the fact that you still live with your parents"
"... So do you" you say
"Yeah, but I don't feed off their money"
"I still don't understand what you're trying to get at?" you question
Shuffle face hooves again
"The point I'm trying to make is that you should try something more than just practicing, try something different" he explains
You were about to object again but then it really hit your mind, you have been doing the same thing over and over again
"Oh crap, I gotta go" Shuffle says snapping you out of your thoughts "I'll see ya some other time"
"Oh, alright, have a good one" you say before he trots off
You got back into your starting position, about to take off for another five laps, but the thought of doing something other than practice keeps swimming in your mind. You push the thought to the side and spend your wings, as you were about to speed off something hits your hind leg. You look over your shoulder to see at a pamphlet suck to your leg. You grab the pamphlet and start to read it.
This pamphlet is about a small town by the name of Ponyville... real original . It says that it's a nice little and quiet town with tons of friendly ponies, I bet not all of them ar e. The town has also built some new homes that are available.
You were about to let go of the pamphlet and let the wind take it, but then it hit your mind. “Is this the change that Shuff was talking about?” you think to yourself “Maybe it is time that I try something different”.
"Excuse me, pal?" a voice says
You look over to see a two little colts and a stallion
"Can I use the track please?" says the stallion
"Oh, of course" you say grabbing your water bottle then flying back to you house.
You walk back into your house from the backdoor to see your parents have finished work. Your mum is reading a book and your Dad is working on some papers. You dad looks up at you and smiles
"Hey Star, you been practicing again?" he asks
"Yep" you say smiling back at him, but you try to hide the pamphlet "I'm just going to have a little rest " you continue trotting back to the stairs
"I'll wake you up when dinners ready" your mum says, not even taking her eyes off the book
You nod and then walk back upstairs to your room. You open the door to your room and walk towards your bed. You sit down on your bed and read the pamphlet again. You keep thinking of the pros and cons of this whole idea of moving there.
After thinking it over and over again, you decided that you're going to move to this Ponyville. But first, you're going to a quick nap.
You start to feel a hoof on your shoulder, shaking you. You open your eyes slowly and look at the culprit that has awoken you from your slumber. The one who woke you up was your Mum.
"Come on, wakey wakey, dinners nearly ready and your brother and sister will be here soon" She say before walking out of your room
You roll of your bed and yawn. You were about to walk out your room but then you start to think
You walk down the stairs and head to the front room, but before you could set a hoof into the room you hear a knocking on the door. You walk over to the door and open it, you get pulled into the headlock and hoof is rubbing into your mane.
"Hey little bro" your brother say getting you
"Hey Shade" you squeak out because your brother was holding your neck too tight
Your brother, Rayless Shade, was eight years older than you. He was named after your great grandfather who passed away a week before he was born, and plus he was a spitting image of him. He was a darker gray than you and your dad, and his mane was a darker shade of brown than yours and he was also a unicorn. His cutie mark was a badge in front of a sun, He is now part of the Fillydelphia police force. When you were growing up, Shade would pick on you (like older brothers do), mainly because you could fly and he couldn't, but he had pretty good magic skills.
Shade finally lets go of you and back off and sit on the stairs to catch your breath.
"Oh come on little bro" He say walking into the house with a smile on his face "I didn't have you in my grasp that tight"
"Yeah, you kind of did" you gasp out
"Huh, I guess I still don't know my own stretch" he says flexing his muscles
“Where’s Peach Top?” You ask
Peach Top was his wife. They’ve only been married for about 2 years
“She’s doing another night shift” Shade said disappointedly “but you know she’s saving lives”
Peach Top works as a doctor. She is a very good doctor as a matter of fact. She even managed to heal your broken wing faster then anyone else.
"So where's Mum and Dad?"
"They're in the kitchen" you say getting of the stairs
Shade walks into the front room leaving the front door open. You sigh and go to close it, when you were about to grab the handle...
"StarGazer!" a female voice calls out
You look over to see a pinkish red and yellow maned mare trotting over to you. This was your older sister Rose Beat. She's older than you by five years. Her cutie mark was a rose with music notes around it. Your sister pretty much love's you to death, if you were being picked on by other ponies she would be there for you, if you were upset she would cheer you up.
"Hey Rose Beat" you greet her before she tackles you into a hug
"How's my little brother?" she says still hugging you
"I'm going fine, what about my big sis?"
"Fantastic" she says stopping her hug but still holding on to you "Well, my week wasn't fantastic, but seeing my little brother again makes it so much better" she continues then hugging you again
"Well I'm happy that I'm the highlight of your week" you say, returning the hug
You and Rose Beat finally stop hugging
"So I take that Shade is here" Rose Beat says with a smirk
"How did you know?"
"Well your mane is a mess, so I take it that he noogied you" she says still smirking
"Like always" you say rolling your eye which causes her to giggle "Are you just going to stand out there or are you going to come in?"
"Oh, yes!" she says, you step out of the way and let her walk into the house and goes to the front room
Oh great, knowing that I'm the highlight of Rose Beat's week is making me think twice about moving to this Ponyville.
You shut the door and walk into the front room to see your brother and sister have already taken a seat on the couch.
"What were you doing Star?" Shade asks
"Huh?"
"You took a while to shut the door" he continues
"Well... I... uh"
"Is something wrong Star?" asks Rose Beat
"No, No, nothing wrong"
"Star.." Rose Beat says raising an eyebrow in worried, you were never any good at lying to your sister it's like she can see right through you "You're my little brother, I can tell when something is bothering you"
"Nothing is wrong Rose Beat, I promise"
Rose Beat still looks at you with a worried look. You were almost about to crack and give in and tell her that you were going to move, but luckily Shade stops you by changing the subject
"So how have you guys been?" he asks
"Good" says your sister "I'm currently working on some more songs"
"Oh awesome" you say sitting down next to her "Can't wait to hear them"
"Well maybe you could help me sing some of the songs" she suggest "Ponies would love to hear you amazing voice"
"Rose Beat, you know I can't sing" you say
"Yes you can, we used to sing together all the time when we were younger whenever you were upset" Rose Beat says cuddling you
"Hey Star" you brother says catching your attention
At the corner of your eye you can see your brother making a face that always makes you laugh, you're trying to hold your laughter, but you still had a silly smile on your face. Rose Beat looks at you with a confusion.
"What so funny?" she asks
"Nothing" you says still trying to hold in your laugh
You're in the way of your sister’s sight, so she can't see Rayless Shade, but she has a hunch on what got you making a silly smile
"Is Shade making that face again?" she ask
"No" you say still trying hard not to laugh, but you know that Shade is still making the face
You can't hold back anymore so you let out your laugh. You can hear your brother laughing was well because whenever you laugh at that face, it makes him laughs as well. You can also hear your sister giggle as well.
"What's going on?" you mother ask from inside the kitchen
"Shade was making that face again" your sister answers
After a couple of minutes of talking to your siblings, dinner was finally ready so you all gathered round the table. Dinner was placed in front of you and everyone dug in. During eating everypony was talking about their week, but you couldn't help but think how you were going to tell everyone that you were moving.
Everypony had finished eating, so you thought this would be the best time to tell everypony. You sit up from your chair and they all look at you
"I have something to say" you begin make the first thing I say sound stupid... check
Everypony eyes are locked on you and they give you a looks that say “carry on”
Pause for effect... check
"Well?" your dads says impatiently
"I'm moving" you say bluntly
"You are?" your mum ask, which you respond with a nod "Where in the city?"
"That's the thing, I'm moving out of the city" you say scratching in back of your neck
"Y-You are?" Rose Beat says in an upsetting tone
"Were to?" your brother asks
"To this town called Ponyville"
"When are you going?" asked your mother in shock
"In about a week"
Silence falls across the table and sad looks are on everyone's faces. Your dad gets up from the table and trots over to you and places a hoof on your shoulder.
"Well son" he begins "Whatever you decide to do you have my support"
"Thanks Dad"
You sit a table in a bar with your friends; Altair, Free Runner, Dark Flair and Card Shuffle.
"Well boys, tomorrow I leave for Ponyville" you announce hold you drink in the air
"Where gonna miss ya pal" A grey earth pony with a blue mane who goes by the name of Free Runner speaks up clinking his glass with yours
"Cheers"
"It's going to be so weird without my best friend around" Altair says wrapping his arm around you
"I'm gonna miss you bud" you reply
"Yo Star" a fiery maned and tailed pegasus says grabbing your attention
"Yeah Darkflare?"
"We all chipped in to get you a little farewell present" he continues placing a small present on the table and sliding it towards you
You pick you the present and start to unwrap it. Underneath the wrapping paper was a small cardboard box. You lift up the top of the box to see a photo frame. In the photo was you and all of your friend sitting with you. You could help crack a smile.
"Thanks guys" you say grabbing you glass and taking a drink
"Star, do you remember Winter Heart?" asked Altair
You stop to think if you ever knew a “Winter Heart”. You know that the name rings a bell but you just can't place you hoof on it. But suddenly it comes to you.
"Oh yeah I remember her, that mare form school, white coat, white mane with purple highlights"
"Yeah" Free Runner confirms "But did you know that she had the biggest crush on you?"
"She did?" you say tilting you head slightly
"Yeah, it was so obvious" says Card Shuffle "How did you not realize"
You shrug in response at his question
"She would look at you all the time in class, she had your name written all over her notebook" says Altair after taking a sip of his drink
"How do you know that?" you asks looking at Altair with a funny look
"Because she came up to me one day in class and told me how much of a crush she had on you"
"So she had a crush on he throughout those five years?" you ask, in which they all nod "Why didn't she just ask me to go out with her, I would of said yes"
"She was a nervous wreck every time she was around you" explains Dark Flare
"Anyway, enough about Winter Heart" Free Runner says standing up from his seat "YO BARTENDER!" he shouts to the stallion behind the counter "ONE MORE ROUND!"
Today was the day. The day were you would leave your home to start a new life. You packed your final bag full of bits and placed it around you. You head out of your room and headed downstairs where you see your family waiting for you. You leave the final step of the staircase and look at your family.
"You ready to go?" asks you dad standing near the door.
"Yeah" you reply softly and head towards the door
You and your family walk out the front door and walk throughout the city one last time. No one was talking throughout the whole time you were walking. You reach the train station where you ask for a one way ticket for Ponyville. Your family stand at the platform and wait for the train.
"Well son, looks like you’re becoming your own stallion" Your Dad says looking at you with a smile
"I know, it's weird" you say, which gets a chuckle from him
He pulls you into a hug. Even though you couldn't see his face you can tell he's trying to hold back his tears. After a hug you let go of each other were your mum hugs you and releases the water works.
"I can't believe that my baby is leaving" she says holding you tighter
"Mum, I'm not leaving Equestria"
"I know" she says whipping the tears from her face "But you're leaving your home of Fillydelphia, the place where you were born, where you took your first steps, where you said your first words, where you first learnt how to fly" she continues with tears forming in her eyes again
You don't have anything to respond to that, so you just hold your mum again in a tight hug. She lets go of you and grabs you face like she did when you were younger and says;
"Just promise you'll write to us"
"Of course I will"
When she lets go of you, you dad wraps his wing around her. Your brother is the next to come up to you. You looking at him and smirk a little
"Are you going to cry?" you say mockingly
"No!" he says defensively "I'm a police officer, I don't cry"
You continue smiling at him until he pulls you into a hug. You and your brother don't really hug that much, you only hug on rarer occasions, but his was completely different. He wasn't going to have a little brother to pick on anymore.
After that short little hug you sister intently hugs you and starts to cry.
"Come on Beat don't be like this" you say stroking her blond mane
"I don't want my little brother to go"
Again, you were lost for words so you just stood there holding your sister and stroking her mane waiting for the train to arrive.
Soon the train horn blows in the distance and you train comes over the hill. You know you have to let go of your sister but you don't want to. As the train stops at the station the ticket pony calls out "NEXT STOP PONYVILLE!".
"Well, looks like this is it" you say to your family while still holding Rose Beat
They don't say anything. They walk over to you and join you and Beat in a group hug. They all let go of you and trot over to the train.
"Ticket please"
You hand the ticket to the pony. You take the nearest seat to the window where you see that your mum and sister are crying again while your dad and brother are trying to hold back their tears.
As the train starts to move, your family starts to wave as the train slowly pulls away from the station. Tears start to form in your eyes as Fillydelphia get further and further away from you.
As Fillydelphia no longer become visible ,you realize that this is a start of a new adventure.

Rewrite: Your Little Adventure
Chapter 2
"NEXT STOP PONYVILLE"
You slowly open your eyes to a blurry sight. You rub your eyes so that your vision goes back to normal and wipe the saliva off your chin.
Looking out the window, you see that the train is approaching to a small town that is overlooked by Canterlot in the distance. With a quick stretch, because the train seat was terrifyingly uncomfortable, you grab your saddle bag and you trot over to the nearest train door.
"So, you’re moving to this place?" a stallion asks while he walk up next to you
"Yeah" you answer "But I'm a little bit unsure on what I need to do"
"Just go over to the town hall and ask for the mayor, that's what me and my wife did"
"Alright, thanks"
"No problem kid"
The train comes to a stop, making you lose your balance a bit, but quickly regaining it. The door opens up, exposing a whole new train station. You step off the train and walk to the front of the station.
Once you step out of the station, your eyes widen as you take your first look at this town that is soon to be your new home.
Once you realise that you’re blocking some ponies way, you walk into the town and look around as you're walking. Different colored ponies walking past you with smiles on their face without a care in the world. A unicorn, a pegasus, and an earth pony suddenly run past you laughing with each other. Just seeing that alone makes you smile.
OKAY! let's go over our list of things to do……... 1. Locate town hall
You stop walking and look around to see if you can find the town hall. After looking in nearly every direction, you see the tallest building with the Ponyville flag on it.
1. Locate town hall.... CHECK!
You start walking to this big building. You could’ve flown over there, but you wanted to see the town instead of missing it from the sky. After looking around while walking, you reach what you assume is the town hall.
"Excuse me" you call out to two mares passing by you, in which they then stare at your direction. "Is this the town hall?" They respond with nothing but a nod and start to walk away "Okay thanks!"
You push open the door and peek around to see a grey-maned mare sitting at a desk focusing on a piece of paper. She looks up, sees you and smiles
"Come in" she says
"Err... Hi. Are you the mayor by any chance?" You ask as you slowly walk towards her.
"Yes, I'm Mayor Mare" She declares with pride. "What can I help you with?"
"I'm looking to buy a house that's 500 bits" you explain
"Ah yes!" She says and then walks over to a cabinet that was filled with files. Once she returns back to the desk, she places a piece of paper with a picture of the house paper clipped on it in front of you "This is the only house we have for 500 bits"
You take a closer look at the picture. The house didn't look that bad. Sure it was only one story in it, but you were going to be living on your own, so it didn't really matter. You also looked at the address and the number of the house, number 276
"I'll take it" you say pulling out a bag of bits and place it on the table, you had plenty of bits in your bag so there was no worry of going broke from buying a house
"If you just sign this then the house will be yours"
You happily sign your name on the dotted line. Once you finished, Mayor Mare gives you the key and the deed to the house, which you place in your saddle bag.
"Thank you Mayor" you say before turning around and walking towards the door
"It will be nice having you here..." She pauses and looks at the paper "Mister StarGazer"
Mister StarGazer. I like the sound of that
Once you shut the door behind you and look out into the town, only one thing crossed your mind……. You have no idea where your new house is.
With a frustrated sigh, you walk off in a random direction, hoping that your luck plays right.
After wandering around, having no idea where you're going, you come to a stop. Beside you is a building that’s shaped like a gingerbread house with a sign above it that reads “Sugar Cube Corner”
Sugar Cube Corner huh? I guess I could go for a little treat... and directions
You push open the doors that make a bell noise. You walk over to a counter and wait for someone to take your order, but no one comes. You walk to the other side of the shop looking for someone.
"Ya' lost their sugar cube?" a southern voice said, catching your attention
You look over where the voice came from. You see six different mares looking at you.
"Yeah I am"
Suddenly the Pink pony comes flying towards you stop right at your face
"I'VENEVERSEENYOUAROUNDHEREBEOFORWHICHMUSTMEANTHATYOU'RENEWINTOWNANDIJUSTLOVEMEETINGNE-"
She was cut by an a purple pony pulling her away from your face. The Pink pony runs off faster than you've seen anypony move, which left you confused for a moment.
"I'm sorry about her" she says with an embarrassed smile "She gets all over excited when some new pony comes to town"
"It's okay, I had a classmate who was like that once"
"Well, It's nice to meet you. I'm Twilight Sparkle" she says introducing herself to you
"Nice to meet you too"
"Howdy, I'm Applejack, the proud owner of Sweet Apple Acres." The orange pony said, tilting her hat. "Feel free to come by if you want to get some good tasting apples in your stomach"
"Will do!"
"I'm Rarity" The white unicorn speaks up. "I own the Carousel Boutique, and I just have to say that your coat is absolutely stunning!!!!! Who does it for you?"
"My sister. She wanted me to look nice on the first day here"
"If it's not too much trouble. could you ask her how she does it?" Rarity asked,which you just respond with a nod.
"And I'm Rainbow Dash, the best flyer in Equestria and a future wonderbolt at that" The skittle-maned pony says, flying in the air. You liked her confidence and her style
Best flyer in Equestria huh? you'll be fun to race against, that's for sure
You then notice that there was one pony that hasn't introduce herself to you. That pony was the yellow and pink mane one trying to hind behind her friends.
"And what's your name?" you ask
She doesn't say anything... well at least you think she didnt, because all that came out of her mouth was a squeak.
"That's Fluttershy" Twilight said "She's kinda shy"
"Ah okay, anyway my name is StarGazer"
"So, what's a handsome stallion like you doing here?" the white unicorn says in a regal accent while fluttering her eyes
WOAH………. back off sister, you can't hit on me that fast
"Well I'm actually looking for my new house"
"What number is it? Maybe we could help you find it" suggest Twilight
"It's number..." you stop and think what the number of your new house is "Number 276"
"Oh those are the new house that were built" Twilight chirps
"I could show you where is it" Rainbow Dash adds
"That would be great, thanks"
You and Rainbow Dash head out Sugar Cube Corner. As soon as you set a hoof out the door you and Rainbow Dash fly up into the air.
"Try to keep up!" Dash says before flying off
"Challenge Excepted!"
You fly off after her. She was pretty fast but it wasn't too much for you to handle. As soon as you caught up to her, she looks at you with a slight look of disbelief, but she then starts to fly faster. You took this opportunity to show off a little, so you then start to fly with you back facing the ground and your hoof behind your head. Again you caught up to her and gave her a little smirk.
"We're here!" she says stopping
It took a second for your brain to register what she said. You stop just before you carried on flying. You and Dash fly down to your new house while flying down to pick out the key from your saddle bag.
Once landing on the ground,you place your key in the keyhole and unlock the door. When the door was fully open, your eyes widen at the style of the house. It wasn't exactly what your mind excepted, but you have your very own house now.
"Wow, very fancy" you say walking in
"Hey if you need any furniture, Rarity could hook you up" said Dash
"That would be great... which one was Rarity again?"
"The white unicorn" Dash said with a unimpressed tone
"Oh yeah, the gorgeous one"
"Well I'll leave you to get used to the place" says Dash
Just as she was about to fly away you grab her attention.
"Wait Dash!"
"Yeah?"
"Do you think maybe you could give a tour of the town? Just so that I get to know the place" you asks
"Yeah sure" she says happily "I'm come by later"
"Alright, see ya then"
She then flies away, leaving the door wide open. You close the door then take a little tour around the house. You take off your saddle bag and lean it up against the wall and explore each room and plan out what you're going to do with it in the near future.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. You trot over to it and open it, expecting a rainbow-maned pegasus. Instead, it was a middle aged unicorn couple, standing there with smiles on their faces.
"Hello?" you say
"Hi" the mare starts "We noticed you just moved in and we thought we would stop by and introduce ourselves"
"I'm Westfall" the stallion introduces himself "And this is my lovely wife, Pearl Light. We live next door and we figured that we’d give you a little house-warming gift"
"Ohh, you didn't have to"
"We know" said Pearl "We wanted to. We know for a fact that some of these houses don't have beds"
"So, from saving you from the trouble of buy one, we would like to give you one of our spare ones" Said Westfall, as his horn glowed, making a bed appear from behind him
"Has this one been used?" you ask
"Only once" Pear Light answers
"Well thank you very much" you say with a smile
You move out of the way of the door so that Westfall can place the bed into your house. You thank them again the close the door as they head back to their house.
You drag the bed into the room that is soon to become the bedroom. When you place the bed in the center of the room against the wall, you flop down onto it. The bed was comfortable enough for you, so you decide that you would take a quick nap.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
You lift head off the bed and rub your eyes. You never liked being woken up by loud noises, because it can put you in a bad mood. Sitting up on the bed, you stretch your arms and stand up.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"I'M COMING!" You shout as you walk toward the door
You grab the handle, twist it and open the door to reveal the cyan mare.
"Hey, you ready?" She asks
"... for what?"
"The tour of the town, duhh"
"Oh, yeah"
You grab your keys and shut the door. You and Dash started flying up into the air and fly over the town, getting a bird's eye view of the town. Dash pointed out all the main building on where you get some food and home supplies. During the flights where there was nothing interesting below you, Dash would ask question about your life. It wasn't long until the tour was finished
"Thanks for showing me around Dash" you say thanking her "I guess I'll be heading-"
You were cut off by the sound of your stomach growing
"Sound like you're hungry" Dash says with a little giggle
"What gave it away?"
"Come on, let's go to Sugar Cube Corner" Dash says before she descends to the ground
You follow her to ground and land in front of the sweet shop. Dash opens the door and you follow her in. When you're inside you see that it's not very busy. Behind the counter was a blue mare with a pink mane.
"Hello Rainbow Dash" She greets as Dash walks in "And who is this?" She asks obviously talking to you
"This is StarGazer" Dash says introducing you "He just moved here"
"It's nice to meet you, StarGazer. I'm Mrs Cake, and I own this shop with my husband"
"It's nice to meet you too"
"So what can I get you kids?"
You look over at the menu that's place next to the cash register.
"I'll have a strawberry cupcake please" you say placing your order
"And I'll have a chocolate cookie" says Dash
Mrs Cake smiles and then trots to the back into the kitchen leaving you and dash in a awkward silence until she came back placing both treats in front of you.
"That will be 6 bits"
You were about to pull out some bits to pay for it but Dash stops you
"It's okay. I got this" she says smiling
She then places the 6 bits on the counter and you grab your strawberry treat. With a thank you, you walk out of the sugary shop eating away at you cupcake. After finishing it off quickly you realized that you have forgotten your way home
"Umm... Dash" you say with a slight embarrassed tone
"You don't know how to get home, do you?"
"No. I don't"
With a little giggle from Dash, she flies up into the air. She waves her hoof at you as a signal to follow her. You fly up and follow her through town up till you reached your house. Once landing back on the ground, you turn to Dash
"Thanks for the tour Dash" you say thanking her, which she returns with a smile
As you grab the handle of the door and then...
"SURPRISE!!!!!" a bunch of voices says in unison
This sudden shock makes you lose balance and fall to the ground. As you hit the ground you can hear some ponies inside start to laugh, including Dash, who you just landed in front off and you're now looking up at her. But suddenly, a Pink pony looks down at you with a big smile
"WERE YOU SURPRISED? WERE YA? WERE YA? HUH? HUH? HUH?" She says quickly "YOU MUST OF BEEN SURPRISED BECAUSE WE WERE LIKE 'SURPRISE!!!!!' AND YOU WERE LIKE 'AHHHH' AND FEEL ON TO YOUR FLANK"
You were still in shock from what happened. so you stay silent
"OH I ALMOST FORGET! MY NAME IS PINKIE PIE!"
"Err... Hi I'm-"
"OH don't worry!" Pinkie says cutting you off "I already know your name. Your name is StarGazer"
You finally get back onto your hoofs and only one question swims into your head.
"Pinkie, how did you get in my house?"
"Oh! You left your door unlocked"
You were stunned from your foolish folly that you were not sure that your door was unlock.
"Anyway don't just stand out here, let's get this party going!" Pinkie shouts before grabbing your hoof and pulling you inside.
During the party you pretty much met everypony in town, you still wonder how everypony was able to fit inside your house, but you didn't really mind because a party is a party.
You certainly didn't get bored because you nearly had a interesting conversation with everypony. Heck, even some of the mares invited you to dance with them.
After the party was finished, the only ponies that were left were you, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Rarity, Twilight, Fluttershy and the one who made this party possible, Pinkie.
"So ,he just picked her up and threw her?" you ask
"Yep" Twilight confirms "She snatched the crystal as well as Spike in mid air"
"It was one of the most awesome thing I've ever seen" Adds Rainbow "You know, it's was almost as awesome as me"
You rolls your eyes at that statement with a little chuckle.
"Ah think we should be headin' home" Says Applejack
Everypony agrees with her. You say goodbye to them all as they each head out the door one by one. After they have all gone you shut the door and look around the empty house. You sigh and decide that you're going to clean it all up tomorrow. You head back your bedroom and fall down onto the bed and slowly drift off the sleep.

Racing a Rainbow
Chapter 3
You start to open your eyes slowly, but something felt weird. You woke up by your own, no alarm to wake up, or your dad waking you up because it was past 12 o’clock. You sit up from your bed and stretch while you yawn. After stretching, you rub your eyes and roll off the bed, get onto your hooves, and walk out your bedroom.
When you walk into your front room, you instantly sigh at the sight. The room was a complete mess from the party last night. With another big sigh, you use you wings as a broom to sweep up the mess into one big pile. You then realize that you have no bags to put the pile of trash in. You shrug it off and head out the front door.
You walk around the town, somewhat knowing your way around town thanks to the tour that Dash gave you yesterday. As you walk around town, you notice the different shops that have all the stuff that you need for your house, but the one shop that mainly peaks your interest is a breakfast shop.
After hearing the sound that you stomach was making, you decide that you're going to get a quick bite to eat. You push open the door, as a smile of wonder creeps on your face because it’s a Fillydelphia styled shop.
You sit on one of the stools at the front of the shop. You grab the menu and start to read it. All the foods that you used to eat at home. A red maned, creamed coat waitress that was standing behind the bar stops what she’s doing and walks over to you.
“What can I get you today?” She asks happily
“Er… I’ll have the tomato and hay sub please” you say placing your order
“Coming right up”
As you wait for your sub, you look around the shop to see that there aren't many ponies in this shop. It wasn't long ‘till your sub was placed in front of you. Once you took a bite of the sub, it reminded you of home.
“So you’re from Fillydelphia, right?” The waitress asks, apparently she had’nt left you alone to eat.
“Yeah” you reply once you swallowed your mouth full. “I lived in the south east side”
“Oh cool. I used to live in the center” She says “So what made you come to here?”
“I just need to get away and do somthing new” you explain, then taking another bite of your sub
“Yeah I know how you feel” she replies “Back where I lived, I used to work at the café. The pay was okay enough to get me by” she explains “There were way too many ponies to serve, and this one rude high classed mare started making me get her all these different drinks, and apparently none of them were up to par with her standards. I just couldn't take anymore, so I started yelling at her and then I quit. Then I found out this little place and...here I am” She finished telling her story and then cover her mouth in embarrassment “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to bombard you with my little tale”
“No it’s okay. It was really interesting” you say, giving her a smile
“I’m Eva” She says, introducing herself
“I’m StarGazer” you say, and then taking another bite bite of your sub “How come no one’s in here?” you ask with your mouth full
“Don’t speak with your mouth full” she says with a giggle. You swallow your food and then chuckle a little “No ones in here because not many ponies want to try the Fillydelphia experience”
“That’s lame” you say, taking the finishing bite of your sub “Anyway I better get going”, you pull out of bits and place them on the counter “I’ll have to come back here again”
“See you around”
With that, you take your leave.
Again, you start to walk down the dirt path of ponyville. As you walk past many ponies, you remembered that you need to get some stuff for your house. Even though it did come with all the kitchen stuff you needed, you only wanted one thing that will make your kitchen complete… a waffle iron.
“HEY YOU!” a voice calls out from behind you
You’re not sure if it was directed at you, so you just kept on walk hoping to find what you need.
“STARGAZER!” The same voice shouts
You turn around to see a rainbow maned mare looking at you with a disappointed look on her face.
“Why did you ignore me?!” she asks
“I thought it was aimed at someone else. Just shouting ‘Hey you’ isn't a very good way to get someones attention” you explain
“Whatever” she says rolling her eyes, but suddenly her face gains a smirk “I challenge you to a...”
“Not right now” you cut her off “I got some stuff to do” you say then turning around to walk away
“I challenge you to a race!”
You stop in your tracks. “She knows my weakness” . You could never back down from a race.
“You’ve got my attention” you say turning back around to face her
“From here to Sweet Apple Acres”
“You’re on!” you say in a determined tone
“Alright! but how about we make this race a little more interesting!”
“And how do we do that”
“When I win-”
“If” you say, cutting her off
“WHEN I win, you have to be my slave for the day”
“And what if I win?”
“Okay, you’re on”
You both get into the starting positions and flare your wings. Dash then starts to count down from 3.

In a flash you both fly off. You were just a noise in front of Dash and you tried to keep it that way. As much as you love winning a race, you love to give your opponent some false hope. You then start to notice that Dash is starting to pick up speed, so you start doing the wonderbolt wing trick to help you stay in front of Dash, but no matter how hard you tried, Dash was alway getting closer in front of you and you’re starting to run out of energy
You were about to win, but suddenly Dash zooms past you landing in the apple orchard. Once you land in front of her you collapse on to you back, huffing and puff with Dash looking down at you.
“Looks like *huff* you’re*puff* my slave *huff* for the day” Dash says with a cocky smile
“How *huff* did you *puff* get *huff* ahead of me?” you ask
“I told you *huff* I’m the greatest flyer in equestria” Rainbow dash says proudly, getting lost in her ego and pride “But I have to admit you gave me a run for my money…... where did you learn to do those things with you wings?”
“Just somthing I-”
“The only ponies that I know that do that trick is…” Suddenly Dash gets a smile on her face “Where you trained by a wonderbolt?!” She asks as her face nearly touching yours.
“No” you say while getting back up on to yours hoofs “It’s just something I picked up” sorry Grandpa
“Oh” Dash says “You’re going to have to teach me that trick some time” you reply with a nod. “Anyway come on, you’ve got a long day ahead of you”
You roll your eyes and follow her.

You’ve followed Dash around for hours, doing whatever she told you to do. You’re not really sure what she’s going to get you to do next so you decided that you would ask her.
“Dash?”
“Yes, slave?” Dash says replying to question
“Please stop calling me that” you see her shake her head “Where are we going?”
“We’re going to Twilight’s to get the new Daring Do book”
“Daring Do? wait, so the great Rainbow Dash, the best flyer in Equestria, reads books? I never thought that you would be an egghead” you say trying to hold in your laughter
“S-SHUT UP!” Dash shouts “I only read the Daring Do books okay!”
“Fine, whatever” you say still smirking
You follow her to a big tree with windows and a door on it. You start to wonder how long it must of taken to hollow out this massive tree. The sound of Dash knocking on the door knocks you out of that thought and wait for somepony to open the door. The opens showing a purple unicorn
“Good afternoon Dash” Twilight says and then noticed you “Hello StarGazer”
“Hey”
“So you here for the new Daring Do book?” Twilight asks, which Dash just reponses with a nod “Then come on in”
You and Dash walk into the library. You stop and look around the many shelves of book all around while Dash walks off to the adventure section.
“Impressed?” Twilight aks with a little smile as she trots over to you
“Yeah” you admit “I haven’t seen this many books in one place” you continue while still looking around
“There’s not a library in Fillydelphia?”
“There is, but It doesn’t have this many books” you say,making Twilight smile
“Thanks for the book Twi” Dash says, walking past you and Twilight with the book underneath her wing. “Come on slave”, you roll your eyes and follow her
“Why did she call you that?”
“Because I lost a race, so I have to be her slave for the day” you say making Twilight giggle
“STARGAZER!” Dash shouts from outside the library
“I’ll see you around” you say and then trot outside.
“Okay I’ve gone with you shopping, to the library, and most likely walked around the whole town at least three times… now what?” you ask as you follow Dash
“We’re going to SugarCube Corner” Dash answers
You continue to follow Dash until something grabbed your eye………….. a notice board for job offers. You were starting to run low on money, so you walk over to the board. Once you reach the board, you start to scan all the job offers. Suddenly Dash lands next to you and didn't look too happy.
“What are you doing?” She asks
“Looking at job offers. Is that a problem?”
“Well maybe you should tell me first”
“I don’t have to you anything” you say
“Yea you do. You’re my slave, remember?”
“Okay listen. I've had enough of this” you say and grab one of the job offers “I’m taking this offer for the weather team, filling it out, sending it through the mail, and then I’m going home”
You then start to trot to the nearest shop to you, which was coincidentally Sugarcube Corner.
“I don’t think I like your attitude” Dash says walking behind you
“Whatever”
Once you walk in the shop, you sit at the nearest table. To your luck there was a pencil, so you grabbed it and started filling out the form. Dash takes the seat opposite to you and noticed that you're thinking about what team to join.
“You should join team C” she says
“Why?”
“Because I’m on that team and you want to get the job done quick right?” you reply with a nod “Then you should join the team”
“Alright” you say then tick the box next to C
After finishing the form you get up and walk toward the door. You notice that there isn’t any hoofsteps behind you. You turn around to see Dash is still at the table.
“You’re not coming with me?” you ask
“Nah. I’m gonna hang with Pinkie”
“Okay, See ya later”
You turn back towards the door and walk out of the sugar shop and trot in a random direction, hoping to find the post office.

After what seems like ages, you finally come across the post office. With a sigh of relief, you walk into the office and look around. You see a grey mare with bubbles for a cutie mark and decide to ask her what you need to do to send out this job application.
“Er, excuse me miss” you say trying to catch her attention
“Yes” she says as she turn around
You get a little shock when you see her eyes. One was looking up and the other was looking down.
“Hey, you’re that pony who just moved in” she say snapping you back
“Yes I am. I’m StarGazer”
“I’m Ditzy Do, but everyone just calls me Derpy” she replies “What can I help you with?”
“I just need to know where I can send this job offer form”
“Oh that’s easy. You just need to put it in that box over there” Derpy says pointing to a box behind you.
“Thanks” You say, and then walking over to the box and slip the paper in. You turn back to Ditzy “Thank you Miss Do”
“No problem. And please call me Ditzy”
You nod and walk out of the post office. You walk down the town once again and for some reason you can’t get out of your head on why everyone has a smile on their face. Back in Fillydelphia, not many people would smile as you walk past them.
Once you reach your house, you unlock the door and walk in to notice that there is still a pile of rubbish on the floor. With a sigh and a roll of the eyes, you walk back outside to get what you went out to get in the first place.

Working For Team C
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
Groaning you slowly open your eyes. Still being blurry you managed to make out the sight of your alarm. With another groan, you sit up on your bed and slap your clock to stop the horrible sound. Stretching, you sit on the side of your bed just staring off into the dark corner of your bedroom and wonder… why did you agree to have your contract to be morning shifts?
Today was your first day working with the weather team. And you had to get up at 7:00 am to get to work at 8:00. The reason why you set your alarm at 7 is to have some time to wake up and get some food before your shift starts.
Hopping off the bed to trot, very zombie-like, to the front door of your house. Shutting and locking the door behind you, with a big yawn, you take off to the sky and fly toward a small shop that you’ve grown to like quite a bit, the Fillydelpha styles breakfast shop. You land in front of the door and slowly open it, a bell rung letting the employees know that someone has entered the shop.
“Hey StarGazer” A female voice calls out from behind the counter. This pony, called Eva, has become a close friend of yours since you’ve moved here. You bonded on the fact that you’re both originally from Fillydelpha “You look like death, dude” she continues with a giggle at the end
“Hey, Eva” you greet her back in a very tired tone “Yeah, let's just say that I’m not used to getting up at this time,” you say whilst walking to the counter and taking one of the seats.
“The usual I'm assuming?” She asks, to which you nod. “Why did you take the morning shifts if you’re not used to it?” She asks while fixing up a cup of coffee for you.
“Because the boss asked me to in the interview!” you defend yourself “I can’t just turn around and say I’m not a morning person, makes me look bad”
“As bad as you look now, you zombie?” She says back with a joke on your appearance while putting the cup of coffee in front of you.
“Haha funny,” you say sarcastically, whilst picking up the cup and taking a sip, in which Eva then turns back around. As the warm liquid hits your tongue you’re taking back by how strong it was. Putting the cup down you look at Eva and say “Gah, why is this so strong?”
“Because look at you StarGazer, you look like your about to pass out any minute” She answers, turning back to you. “Plus it will give your energy for the first day at work”
Well, you can’t argue with that, you did look like you’re on the brink of death. With a slight chuckle, you look at Eva and say “Well thank you for looking out for me”
“Anything for my favorite customer,” She says back with a wink. She then turns back around to finish off making your waffle.

After finishing your breakfast you place the amount of bit that would cost you for your meal plus tips, that Eva said that she doesn’t want but you give anyway. You thank her for the meal and start to walk out of the diner to head to work.
“StarGazer!” Eva shouts, in which you turn around, “Catch!” She then throws some sort of baked product at you, with your quick reflexes you catch the product in one hoof. Looking at the food item in your hoof to see that it's a small muffin. You look at her in confusion to which she answers “It’s a new recipe I’ve been trying and I wanted to get your opinion on it”
“What's the recipe?” You ask just in case it had something your allergic to in it
“It’s almond and raspberry” she answers
“Oh, Awesome. I’ll let you know what I think after work okay?”
“No worries, see you then,” She says with another wink
You smile at her say your goodbyes and fly off into the air. With the muffin still in your hoof, you fly towards a small building just outside of Ponyville. This was the weather control building and the place you imagine you’d be spending most of your mornings.
Landing in front of the door, holding the muffin in your mouth but not taking a bite, you push the door open and walk inside. Scanning your eyes around the room you see a mare sitting behind a desk, you remember her from when you came here for your interview, so you walk over to her and say “Excuse me, ma’am”
She looks up from the desk to look at you and she smiles and responds “Hi, you’re StarGazer right?”
“Yes I am” you respond while taking the muffin out of your mouth
“Good,” she says happily “if you just want to take your folder for that holder over there” she continues, pointing to a folder holder on the wall “and have a quick look at where your team's meeting point is and head over there”
“Ah okay, thank you,” you say to her and, placing the muffin back into your mouth, trot over the holder. You give a quick look up and down of the holder to see that it’s arranged but teams. So with a quick look, you managed to find your teams holder, but you notice that your file is the only one there. Shrugging it off you grab the folder to see a timetable of the day. At the top of it, it says the meeting point is at the park.
“Oh yeah, one more thing!” The mare behind the counter calls out grabbing your attention “once you’ve had a look at your folder you’ll need to place it in this basket here” she continues, giving a little shake to the basket she was referring to.
Nodding you close the folder and walk to the basket. You see five other folders already in there and place your one on top.
“Thank you,” you say, well, try to through the muffin, which makes the mare laugh. You then turn around and exit the building and fly your way through the sky to your first day on the job.

As you’re flying through the sky you’re looking around to see if you can spot a bunch of ponies standing around in a group, hoping that that will be the team you’ll be working with. Just to your luck, you manage to see a group of six ponies standing around talking to each other. You start to descend down to them and land a couple of feet away. Finally, you take a bite of the muffin you’ve been carrying around for what seems like ages and OH MY! Did it taste delicious, the flavors mix together so well and it was so soft and you could probably sleep on a giant version, you’re definitely going to have to tell Eva what you think of this muffin in a long rant. As you’re enjoying your treat you’re interrupted by a female voice saying, “Excuse me”.
Looking over to where the voice came from you see two mares standing there. Both of them had bluish-grey fur, but one was slightly darker than the other. One of them had a crazy styled blue mane and tail with white highlights, while the other one had the same shade of blue in her mane, but hers was nicely combed and brushed straight whilst wearing a cute pink bow.
“You’re StarGazer, right?” The one with the bow in her mane asks
Swallowing the peace of muffin you had in your mouth and answer by saying “Yup, that’s me. This is where Team C is meeting right?”
“Indeed it is” She answers you “I’m Flitter, by the way” she continues introducing herself “And this is my sister Cloudchaser” To which she gestures to the mare standing beside her
“Hi, nice to finally meet you,” Cloudchaser says to you with a smile
“Finally? You’ve been waiting for me?” you ask
“Yeah, there's been talk of a new guy joining us for a while now,” Cloudchaser says answering your question “And you know Rainbow Dash right?”, to which you nod “She’s the one who told us a newbie will be starting with us soon”
“Ahh right,” you say with a slight chuckle “I’ll be looking forward to working with you guys”
They both giggle at your comment and wave a hoof to signal you to follow them “Come on, we’ll introduce you to the rest of the team” Flitter said before turning away to walk to the rest of the group. You eat the rest of your muffin and start to follow Flitter and her sister. You notice that Cloudchaser starts to slow down until you reach her side. She then starts up a conversation with you by saying
“You know I remember you from that ‘Welcome to Ponyville’ party that Pinkie threw at your house”
“Oh really? I don’t think I remember that party to be honest since I was pretty drunk” you say with a laugh, which causes her to giggle.
“Yeah can’t say I blame you, I pretty sure most everyone there gave you a drink,” She said with a slight giggle “Though it's a little disappointing that you don’t remember me since we danced together for a long time”
You were taken back by that comment and suddenly feel a bit of shame for not remember someone you probably spent most of the night with “oh no, I’m sorry I-” to you start, but were cut off by Cloudchaser giggling
“Don’t worry about it… besides I was only pulling your leg, we didn’t spend that much time together during that night” she says with a wink and sticking out her tongue a little bit
You can’t help chuckle at the thought that you’ve just been played, on your first shift nonetheless. You reach all the other team members with the two sisters and they all continue the conversation they’re having only to turn toward you then Flitter says “Guys, this is StarGazer”
“You know the newbie that Dash was talking about” Cloudchaser adds
“Ahh, nice to meet you man,” a dark gray stallion says “I’m Thunderlane!”
“I’m Silverspeed,” a gray mare with a lighter gray mane said smiling at you
“Hi! I’m Blossomforth!” A very light pink coated mare with a mane streaked cerise and mine green said, very enthusiastically “And this is Bulk Biceps” she continues pointing to the very huge and muscular white stallion, to which he just nods to you.
“He doesn’t talk much” Cloudchaser leans in and whispers to you.
“Ah” you respond to that piece of information “Well it’s very nice to meet you all,” you say to all the ponies in your new work team.
A couple of minutes went by pretty quick when you were talking with your new co-workers, all you talked about is what everyone did on the weekend. Just as you were listening to how Silverspeed had a romantic dinner with her boyfriend, a rainbow trail flew right past all of you, followed by a huge gust of wind. And the only cooperate for this was none other than the self-proclaimed, Equestrias fastest flyer… Rainbow Dash.
“Hey, guys!” She said greeting you all “sorry I’m late” she continued. She then looks at her team and then spots you and smiles “I see StarGazer here for his first shift”, to which you nod and smile back “Welcome to the team, Star. So anyway let’s get down to business, luckily we’ve got an easy day today. Clear skies all other the town! So let's get to it, shall we? You all know the drill, split into your teams and get going”
“And what about the new guy?” Asked Thunderlane
“He’s going to be with me for today, someones gotta teach him. And who better than the captain” she answered, stroking her ego a bit more.
All the ponies nod and begin to fly off into different directions, leaving you and Dash alone in the park. Flapping her wings your captain begins to ascend into the air, to which you follow suit. Waving her hoof, signaling for you to follow her you fly off after her to start your first day on the job.

After a couple of hours of Rainbow Dash teaching you basics of the whole cloud system, which you sort of knew already thanks to your Dad working for the weather team back home, she moved on to getting rid of the clouds.
“So all I have to do is kick it?” You say looking at the white fluffy cloud in front of you.
“Yeah, but you have to kick it dead into the center and with enough force, otherwise it won’t disappear completely,” said Dash
“What happens if I don’t hit the center?”
“Then it will explode into loads of mini-clouds, and they are a pain to get rid off” Dash answers your question, She then hovers in front of you with her back to the cloud. She then gets into a bucking position and reels her hind legs back and kicks the cloud right in the middle of it. Right before your eyes the cloud completely poofs out of existence.
“Wow” was all you could say to the display.
“Pretty awesome, right?” She said sweeping her shoulder, thinking that she looks cool
“Yeah, I guess” is all you could respond to her boosting her ego more.
“Alright, now it’s your turn. Give it a try on that one over there” Dash says pointing over your shoulder to a lonely cloud.
Nodding with confidence you fly over to the cloud that dash was pointing to. You place yourself in, what you hoped was the center of the cloud, you get into a bucking stance and reel back your hind legs and kick the cloud as hard as you can. As soon as your hooves made contact with the white mass of fluff your hoofs no longer feel anything. Turning your head to look over your shoulder you see that the cloud had disappeared.
“Yes! First try!” You shout loudly, whilst hoof pumping.
After your little celebration, you turn back to Dash who has her hoof over her mouth trying to hold back her laughter.
“What’s so funny?” You ask
Taking her hoof away she says “Good first try rookie.. but you might want to have another look”
Confused, you turn around and your eyes widen. Where the cloud used to be where many different smaller ones. You don’t get it, you were dead in the center and you put all your power into that kick.. what did you do wrong? Not to mention that your ridiculous celebration was all for nothing. Lowering your ears in embarrassment you turn back around to Dash, who has completely lost it and is laughing her head off.
After, what seems like five minutes, Dash finally calms down and wipes the tear away from her eye.
“You finished, laugh track?” You ask with your arms crossed and with a little smirk
“Yeah, yeah I’m good” Dash answered, still giggling “anyway, I need to check on the others. You going to be okay by yourself?”
“Probably,” you say “But how do I get rid of these” you continue, turning around to look at all the smaller clouds.
“Just punch them. They’re easy to get rid off. I’ll be back in a few minutes” Dash said before flying off at incredible speed.
As she’s flying off you can help but think “Damn she’s fast. I can see why her ego is so big, she's pretty amazing” you then get started destroying all the little clouds that caused your embarrassment in front of your captain.
Punch after punch after punch, you finally managed to get rid of all the little buggers. Once they were all cleared you then noticed a couple of more clouds in the distance that needed getting rid off.
Flapping your wings as fast as you could you bolt all the way over to them in a couple of seconds. Turning yourself around you buck one of the clouds, using your speed as momentum for added power. You then turn back around to see the cloud has completely vanished, no little clouds either. Filled with joy you let out a “WOOHOO!” Followed by “THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!”
“Very nice,” a female voice says from behind you. Turning around you see Cloudchaser floating there with a smirk “take it that was your first time making a cloud disappear entirely?”
“Yeah, it was. On my second try as well” you say with pride, putting your hoofs on your hips and puffing out your chest.
Cloudchaser giggles at you patting yourself on the back. “Alright hot stuff, stand back and watch a master at work” she then flies past you and stands in front one of the white puff balls. And with a swift kick, with one leg, the cloud departs from existence.
Your jaw drops, this mare just kicked a cloud out of this world with just one leg! ONE LEG! How on Earth does she have that much power in just a single limb, just imagine what she could do with both legs.
“Impressed?” Cloudchaser grinned flying back over to you.
“Yeah, you could say that,” you say, still in shock of what you just saw “How did you even manage to do that?”
“Just a lot of experience” She boasted “Plus I put in a lot of hours at the gym and on the race track”
“Wait! There’s a race track here?!” You gasped. You then get close to the persian blue coated mare and grab her by the shoulders “Where is it?”
“We’re literally right on top of it,” she says, a little uncomfortable with the fact you’re so close to her that your noses were almost touching.
Letting go of her, you look down to see that there was, in fact, a race track right underneath you.
“How did I not know about this!” You shout “I could’ve been improving my speed for racing instead of sitting around all day!”
“So you’re actually a racer huh?” A voice chipped in from behind. Looking over your shoulder you see that Rainbow Dash has returned.
“Yeah” you confirm “been racing since as long as I can remember”
“Kinda figured as much, since you almost beat me in our race a couple of weeks ago”
“Almost? I was ahead of you throughout the whole race by a nose until the end” you say defensively.
“Well don’t you just keep getting more and more interesting” Cloudchaser adds, to which you flash a cocky smile at her.
“Anyway!” Dash boomed, clapping her hoof together “back to work both of you, still plenty of clouds need to be cleared”
“Aye, aye Cap’n” you replied, saluting her before you and Cloudchaser flew off in different directions.

It wasn’t long until the work day was over. Thanks to how quickly your team got the sky cleared you all got to finish early. Everyone meets back at the meeting point all ready to head home and enjoy the rest of there day.
“Good work, guys” Dash began “We got the sky cleared in record time!”, to which you all cheered “now lets all head home”
Once everyone said they’re goodbye they all flew off in different directions just leaving you and Dash alone together.
“You not got any plans for today, Star?” Dash asked walking over to you
“Not really” you replied “I was just planning on going over to the race track and get back into practicing”
“Well if not really that busy then you could come with me to sugar cube corner. My friends and I were gonna hang out, I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if you join too.” The sky blue Pegasus suggested.
“Are you sure? I mean I don’t want to intrude”.
“It’s no problem” Dash reinsures “Plus the girls really want to get to know you more… specifically Pinkie Pie”.
“Wait, why?” You ask tilting your head.
“Well, she pretty much knows everything about everyone in town except for you since you’re new here” Dash answers.
“Bit strange, but sure I’m down”
“Awesome!” She cheers “I’ll race you there!”
“You’re on!”
Within a flash, you both fly off as fast as you can leaving nothing but dust behind you. Obviously, it doesn’t take you that long to get there since you both were going as fast you could. Sliding across the dirt and stopping in front of the door you manage to beat Dash by a couple of seconds.
“HA HA!!” You roared “I BEAT YOU!” You continue pointing your hoof close to her face continuing your taunt, and she did not look happy about it.
With a little huff, she walks past you saying “Whatever, it wasn’t a proper race so it didn’t count” then opening the door to the bakery.
“Didn’t count? a race is a race and I beat you fair and square” you argued, following in after her.
All that Dash replies with is another “Whatever”.
Walking over to a table, already occupied with five other ponies, the southern earth pony notices the two of you walking over to them and greets you by saying “Afternoon Rainbow. Hello StarGazer”
“Hey, girls,” Dash says taking a seat next to a yellow Pegasus.
“Hi everyone,” you say back taking the only seat left, next to a beautiful white unicorn.
“So how was your first day on the job, Star?” Applejack asked
“Ahh, you knew about that too huh?” You chuckle as it seems that everyone in this town knows about you and this job “It was pretty good actually. I mean not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think I’m very good. Ain’t that right Dash?”
Dash just looks you in the eye and says “yeah you’re alright” as she shrugs which causes everyone in the table to laugh, including you.
“So StarStar!” Pinkie peeks up looking across the table “How do you find Ponyville? Do you miss Fillydelphia at all? What was your life like back home? Do you have any Fillydelphia type treats you could recommend cause I want to try a treat from every city in-“
“Pinkie!” Twilight speaks up, cutting Pinkie off “Please one question at a time”
“Oh right sorry” Pinkie apologizes with a cute little giggle at the end
“It’s no problem,” you say waving off Pinkies apology “to answer your questions, I think Ponyville is very nice” you continue, smiling “Definitely one of the nicest towns I’ve ever been too, and I could see me living here for a long time”
Your comment about there town got all the girls flashing very cute smiles at you. Knowing that you’re enjoying your time here brings you a lot of joy. But your smile fades away when you start to say
“But... I do miss Home… a lot” you say with a sigh, which also causes the smiles on the girl's faces to slowly turn into worried looks “I mean… I think about it every day, my friends, my family, everything.” You continue on, with your voice getting more and more shaky “I was so used to seeing everyone every day that I guess I didn’t really prepare myself for a time where I wouldn’t. Now that I’m here all by myself… I really miss everyone”.
Feeling a bit of embarrassment from spilling out your homesickness you look down at the table so none of them see the tears starting in your eyes. Swallowing the lump in your throat, and shaking off the tears, you lift your head up to see all the mare around the table looking at you with sadness.
“Heh, sorry, I didn’t mean to get all emotional about home,” you say chuckling and scratching the back of your neck.
“It’s no problem, StarGazer” Twilight reassures you “Homesickness is a very common thing. We don’t blame you at all. I was the same when it came to me moving here from Canterlot”.
“And besides, I think it’s very cute when a stallion shows his emotions” Rarity says, cuddling up to you and fluttering her eyelashes.
You can’t help but blush as this, very good looking unicorn, is so close to you that your bodies are touching. You can definitely feel your face get redder and redder as she closes half her eyelids and smiles at you.
“Alright, come on Rarity, that’s enough,” Dash says, interrupting the uncomfortable, but very nice, moment between the two of you
“Is there a problem, Rainbow Dash?” Rarity asks
“Yeah, this whole thing you’re doing”
“Really? What’s wrong with it? I’m just having a bit of friendly banter with this fine colt” The white unicorn explains, patting your knee “It's not that big of a problem for you is it?”
Slightly blushing Dash blurted “N-No! Of course, I don’t have a problem with it!”. slamming her hoof on the table, causing it to rock slightly “I-It’s just embarrassing to see you do it in front of us” she finishes slumping back into her chair and crossing her arm
“Oh really?” Rarity asks curiously. She then raises her eyebrows and gets a cheeky grin, knowing that she can’t tease her friend a bit more “so you wouldn’t mind if I took StarGazer back with me and toyed with him a bit” she says leaning on you a bit more and draws a small circle around your chest
You couldn’t help but blush harder when the words ‘toyed with him’ escaped her lips. Now you feel your face go completely red once you feel the sensation of her soft hoof on your chest.
“N-No! Of course I wouldn’t! Do whatever you want!” Dash said closing her eyes and looking away, whilst scrunching up her snout.
Rarity then let’s go of you and begins to let out a laugh, which causes the other to laugh as well. Dash then reopens her eyes and turns back to Rarity all confused.
“I’m sorry, dear” She starts “I just couldn’t help myself, The way you were reacting I just couldn’t help but continue” she explains through her giggling “Besides, StarGazer isn’t the type of stallion I would go for anyway”
“Wow, thanks,” you say chuckling, though a little disappointed.
“I’m sorry, hun” Rarity apologizes, whilst patting your shoulder “Maybe in another lifetime” You can’t help but laugh at her comment, besides the joke was more or less at Dash’s expense so it was all good in your book.
After that interesting little interaction, you continue your conversation with Pinkie and the others about your life back at Fillydelphia. Telling them about your racing career and your life with family and friends. And by sun princess did you miss them a lot.
Rewrite: Your Little Adventure
Panting and sweating you stand on the starting line of the race track. Still breathing heavy you grab your towel and wipe away the sweat from your face and then place the towel around your neck. Catching your breath you stretch out your wings, moving them from side to side, up and down, getting ready for another 5 laps around this track.
Today was your day off work so what better way to spend it then getting back to your training habit. You’ve already done 15 laps already but you’re routine has always been doing 20 laps in a day. Still stretching your wings you have a sip of your water and then place it back down on the ground, along with the towel. Getting into a starting you countdown in your 3. 2… 1!
You zoom off from the line leaving some cuts of grass in the air. Flying around the track, using the wing tricks that your Grandpa taught you, you go as fast as you could, sticking to the inside lane of the track, you speed around the oval feeling the wind on your face. After counting 5 laps you slide across the grass and stopping next to your things.
Breathing heavily again you fall on your back and look up at the clear blue sky. The sun was beaming down on you, making you sweat more than ever, but you liked the sensation of perspiration on your face, as it makes you feel like you’re going a grand job. As you’re looking up at the blue sky you can’t help but think of home.
This is what you always did whilst living back at Fillydelphia, practicing around the track with your family watching you from the sidelines, cheering you on, especially your sister, she was your biggest fan when it came to your races. Each race you went to Rose Beat would always be there to be the one to cheer the loudest, she definitely gave you motivation and confidence… but mostly embarrassment because of how crazy and wild she screams. Turning your head to the side you’re expecting your family to be there watching from the edge of the track… but noone was there. Giving a heavy sigh of disappointment, you roll over on to your stomach and push up back on your hooves. Doing another couple of stretches you grab your towel and water bottle, as you’ve finished your training for the day. As you were about to leave, you get stopped by a female voice calling out “Hey, Star!”
Looking over to where the voice came from to see a Rainbow maned pegasus flying down towards you. You also notice that seems to be carrying something that looks like a flyer in her mouth.
“Hey, Dash!” you say to her as she descends and lands in front of you “What's that? You ask, referring to the flyer, too which she takes it out of her mouth hoofs it over to you. Taking the flyer you start to read out loud “Ponyville Pegasus Relay Race?”
“Yep! Every so often the Mayor will do an event, and this time it’s a relay race!” Dash said excitedly “And I think you and me should get a team together!”
Without thinking you say “Yeah definitely!” This would be your first race since being here so of course you would say yes to this “Who else would we get for our team?”
“let’s be honest if it was just the two of us as a team we would win no problem” Dash grinned as boosted both of your egos, to which you nodded with a smirk “But I was thinking maybe Cloudchaser and Thunderlane since they’re both pretty fast” Dash thought as she rubbed her chin.
“That sounds like a solid team” You agreed to which Dash smiles “I’m already excited for this race” you continue, sitting down and rubbing your hoof together excitedly
“Yeah, it should be awesome!” Dash cheered “I’ll go ask the other two” Dash continued as she flapped her wings and slowly ascended into air “And I was thinking we should start training after work tomorrow.” to which you nod in agreement “And you should totally teach us that wing trick you do to make yourself go faster!”
“Err I don’t know about that” You begin “It took years and years of practice. I was only 5 years old when I was first taught and I didn’t get it right until I was 9” you explain.
“Ah I’ll get it down in no time. Besides I’m a fast learner” Dash says, brushing off your explanation.
“That’s not the point” You grumbled “Doesn’t matter if you’re a quick learner or not this trick has to be mastered in order for you to go faster. Plus if you do it wrong or too much you could sprain a wing!”
Dash just looks for you for a couple of seconds as says “Whatever it will fine”, brushing off your explanation.
Rolling your eyes and letting out a sigh, frustrated because she didn’t even listen to you. Deciding not to argue with her you agree to teach her your trick. To which she responds with an “Awesome!”. After saying goodbye to each other Dash went off to go a recruit Cloudchaser and Thunderlane to the team while you decided that you were going to walk home since your wings are aching like crazy.
Walking down the dirt road of Ponyville main square and you can’t help but smile at the scenery of so many different coloured ponies happily going on about their day. As you walk back to your house loads of ponies start of gather around the notice board outside of town hall. Wanting to know what the commotion was about you head over to the crowd. As you trot over you notice a curtain red-maned mare on the edge of all the ponies.
“EVA!” You call out to her loud enough hoping that she can hear you over all the noise of the crowd. Thankfully she does and she turns her head towards you a smile as you come closer to her. As you reach her you ask “What’s everyone gathered around here for?”
“Oh they’re all checking out the poster and information about the relay race that's happening” she explains “I take it you’re going to enter?” she asks with a grin, probably knowing the answer.
“Of course! I can’t wait!” you say excitedly stomping your hooves like a giddy little colt “Already got my team sorted”
“Are you teaming with Rainbow Dash?” Eva said asking another question, to which you nod enthusiastically cause you know you’ve got a strong team “well looks like I’m going to have to place a big beat on you then” She mumbles to herself
“Eva, are you ready to get going?” A voice pops up next to the red-maned earth pony.
“Yeah, I’m ready” She answers to the pony walking to her side.
The pony next to her was a white pegasus with a white mane with purple highlights, which was long enough in the front of cover half her face. For some reason, this pony seemed familiar to you but you couldn’t put your hoof on it. Once this pegasus looks at you and her eyes widen in shock and her mouth opens in disbelief. Confused Eva looks from this pegasus to you, to Which you just shrug at her, and then back to this mare.
“Well… heh” Eva said breaking the awkwardness “Introductions I guess” she continues “So this is-“
“S-StarGazer?” the mare stutters
You were taken back by how this girl already knew your name. But somehow you feel like you already knew her name as well and you can feel it on the tip of your tongue. But the one who looks really confused was Eva, she just looked at her friend in total shock that her mouth was, figuratively, hitting her floor. Closing her mouth and shaking her shock off she then turns towards you and says “A-Anyway, this is my friend Winter Heart”
Winter Heart!! You remember your friends back home telling you that she had a crush on you back in school. So this is where she’s been all these years. What a small world this is.
“Winter Heart! I remember you!” You said loudly, kinda regretting it a few second later because a couple of ponies walking past turned their heads towards you.
“Y-Y-You do?” Winter stammered in shock from her childhood crush remembering her.
“Yeah!” you reply “Wow it’s been a long time”
The white pegasus giggles with a blush, which she tried to hide with her long mane “Yeah it has been. H-How long have you been in Ponyville?”
“I moved here a couple of weeks ago actually. And I’ll tell you now, it’s turning out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time” you say with a chuckle at the end, which caused Winter Heart to giggle “How long have-“
“EXCUSE ME!” Eva cuts you off as you were about to ask Winter a question. Looking over to her you see that she has a very confused look plastered on her face “You two want to tell how you know each other?”
“We went to school together,” Winter said happily with a smile, to which you nod to confirm.
“Okay, that explains a lot.”
“Yup, almost took every class together” you continue on Winter Hearts statement, who giggles and nods
“Anyway Winter Heart, we ready to go?” Asked Eva
“Well… W-We don’t have to go yet right?” The white pegasus hesitated “I mean I just ran into an old school friend”
“But we’ve been planning this lunch or like…. Ever!” Eva pleaded with her friend
“Oh I don’t want to keep you from your plans,” you say, hoping not to get in the way of there plans “Besides I was just heading home to shower”
“M-Maybe you could come with us?” Winter asked
“No, it’s fine. You too enjoy your lunch” you start, flapping your wings and starting to hover in the air “I’ll see you soon?” You say looking at the two girls from the air.
“Yeah, I’d like to see you again”
“And I’ll probably see you at my shop tomorrow, right?” Eva asked with a grin knowing that you being there is a grantee.
Laughing and nodding at her question you say your goodbyes to the two mares and fly off back to your house. After a short little flight, you land at your door and pull out your keys to open the door. Walking inside you feel your front left hoof land on something strange, looking down you see a letter under your hoof. Picking it up you see a very familiar hoof writing… it was a letter from your mum! Sitting down on the couch you open it as quick as you can you pull out the letter to read…

We’re happy that you made it to Ponyville safely and you have a hoof over your head. We hope you’re having a lovely time there and that you’re keeping yourself safe.
We all miss you so so so so so much. I’m not used to not having my baby boy around at all time during the evening. I just want to hold you in my arms again and never let go. Your father even said that the house is so much quieter without you around and it’s making him uncomfortable with all this silence.
Rayless Shade and Peach Top are doing fine as well. I remember Peach saying that she’s starting to miss having you come to her with some minor injury on your wing. And even though he might not admit it but your big brother misses you a lot as well.
Rose Beat is doing fine. She most definitely misses her baby brother the most. She misses seeing your face every Sunday or if she ever pops round. most of the songs that she's been writing is so sad she been since you’ve moved away. (I’ve put one of her songs in with the envelope)
You stop reading for the moment to look inside the envelope to see a CD case inside as well. Pulling it out there was some writing on it which read “For StarGazer. “Can’t you see” by Rose Beat”. Smiling at the CD you place it down next to you and carry on reading, even though there wasn’t much left.

Smiling at the letter you gently fold it and place on the small round table next to your couch. You then pick up the CD case and open it to pull out the disk. Sitting up you trot over to the CD Play you bought with you from Fillydelphia and place the disk inside and press the play button. Suddenly a voice comes on which almost puts tears to your eyes. The voice from it is definitely your sisters as she says “Hi StarGazer. I hope you’re doing well… I wrote this song for you”
She then starts strumming on her guitar to a very catchy tune to which you start nodding your head to slowly. After 25 seconds of playing the tune, she then starts to sing in her beautiful voice.
Pulled aside as if I was the wrong one, You said it all and you made me the lost one. Elevated by your greatest mistake, now I'm all alone. I bet you couldn't tell that I felt the same way, Struggling just to get to the next day. I'm not force fed lies while I'm by your side.

Smiling you wipe a small tear from your eye and look at the photo you’ve framed up on the wall with you and your family you say “I miss you guys too”

Finally, after a long day work was finally over. It was a busy day today since it was scheduled to be a cloudy day so you had to place clouds all around the sky. There was a few issues during the shift since Silverspeed and Blossomforth got into an argument about which cloud should go where, the argument got to the point where you and Thunderlane had to separate them before they started ripping each others manes out.
After everyone gathered up to say there goodbye they all flew off. The only ones left are Cloudchaser, Thunderlane, Rainbow Dash and yourself. Today was the day that you started training for the relay race. Thunderlane and Cloudchaser have never really been in a competitive race before so you’re gonna have to push them hard.
“Okay” you start, clapping your hoof together “You all ready to train?” to which they all nod
“You’re going to teach us that wing trick right?” Dash said excitedly
“Yes, bu-”
You were cut off by the sound of Dash letting out a happy squee and trotting in place while like a little filly followed by a “This is gonna be awesome!”
“Okay.. but I need you all to-
Cloudchaser joined in by saying “I can’t wait to learn how to go faster!”
“That’s good… but there’s just one thin-”
“I’m so pumped!” Thunderlane cheered, cutting off the warning that you’re trying to tell them.
The three of them started chatting amongst themselves about how amazing it’s going to be learn this trick. You try to get there attention by calling out to them with words like “Guys!” “Hello?” but no of them seem to hear you. Progressively getting more and more annoyed with each passing second you finally yell out to them.
“LISTEN TO ME!” They all jump at the sudden volume in your voice. They all turn towards you “I appreciate the level of enthusiasm, but I need to warn you guys about something” You continue, then looking at Dash and comment “Because apparently, it fell on deaf ears last time”, to which she rolls her eyes at “Now this trick is pretty tricky to get right, but if you do it wrong you could injure your wing”
“What does the trick look like exactly? We’ve never seen you do it” Thunderlane asked
“Well, you pretty much spread your feathers to get more air flow whilst pivoting your wings as you flap” you explain “Kinda like this” you then extend your wings and show them what you mean. Thunderlane and Cloudchaser look in awe at the way that you move your wings while Rainbow Dash watches carefully, seeing the trick up close to see if she can master it easily. Once finishing the demonstration you continue your explanation “So yeah doing that makes you go faster… slightly might I add”
“I seriously have to ask! Where you taught how to fly by a Wonderbolt?” Asks Dash trotting over to you “Because that’s the exact wing technique they use”
“Hey yeah!” Adds Thunderlane “I thought that look familiar”
They all look at you waiting for you to answer. You can’t tell them that your grandpa was a former coach for the famous team who knows how they would react. Getting nervous, because you were never any good at lying, you shift your eyes trying to think of a way to get out of this. The three ponies still look at you, gradually getting closer and closer.
“Well, Star?” Cloudchaser says, breaking the silence “where you?”
You needed to think of a plan quick. Scanning your eyes for an escape route and see that the race track in empty. A lightbulb quickly goes off in your head and you say, quickly “That’s not important. Last on to the race track is has to buy drinks!” You then fly off toward the track leaving behind the others in confusion.
After they process what you’ve said they extend their wings and fly after you. Once you’ve landed at the start/finish line the others were close behind. They each landed as followed; Rainbow Dash, Cloudchaser then, lastly, Thunderland
“Looks like you’re buying” you smirk at him as he lands
“Whatever, let’s just get started” he replied, clearly annoyed
Chuckling you nod and say “Let’s start with some stretches and then will get into the trick”

After a couple of hours of training. The four of you sit in a circle, sweating and panting from all the fast flying you all were doing. You were definitely impressed with how fast Cloudchaser is.
“I gotta say, you’re pretty fast” you compliment her
“Thanks, hot stuff” she responds, with the nickname she’s given you whilst shooting you a little wink
“I also can’t believe how well you’re getting the hang of the wing trick” you continue, turning to Dash to give her a compliment as well
“Like I said, I’m a quick learner” she replies, pounding her chest with pride. To which you chuckle in response
“Oh, I meant to ask this earlier!” The dark grey pegasus speaks up “Which order will we be going in?”
You all turn toward Dash who explains the order “We’ll have StarGazer first so that we can get a good lead”, you nod confidently “Then you and then Cloudchaser so we can keep that position”, they look at each other with smiles and then turn back to Dash “And I’ll go last so we can get the win!”
“So you’re going last so I can take all the glory right?” Thunderlane grunted whilst rolling his eyes. Even though he said is quietly you all managed to hear him. You were all a little shocked by this comment.
“Thunderlane” you start “This is a team effort. We all win in the end”
“Yeah, I know that. But how much do you want to bet that Little Miss Rainbow over here wants to be the one to cross the finish line to boost get gigantic ego a bit more and brag about how she won it for the team,” he says back to you with a hit on annoyance in his voice
“Excuse me!?” Rainbow Dash said, clearly offended. Standing up and looking down at Thunderlane she continues “You really think I’m that much of an egomaniac that I would believe that I was the one who won the race without giving my team the credit!?”
“Yeah, I do actually!” Thunderlane yells back, as well getting onto his hoofs to be eye level with Dash
“Alright, let’s calm down a bit” you say, getting into the middle and trying to keep the peace
Soon Dash and Thunderlane start to argue over you. Trying your best you try to keep them apart, though having two loud ponies pushing and yelling was kind of hard to do. Meanwhile, Cloudchaser was trying to get them to calm down as well by saying “Guys seriously! This is uncalled for!”
Starting to get more and more annoyed with there pushing and shoving of you, as they were still trying to get in each other’s faces. Once the shoving and shouting got too much you finally lose your temper and shout “ALRIGHT THAT’S ENOUGH!!”
The two arguing ponies finally back off from your sudden rage and look at you in surprise “THIS IS NOT HOW A STRONG TEAM IS SUPPOSED TO ACT!” Crossing your eyebrows you turn towards Thunderlane and saying “You! There was absolutely NO NEED for that comment!” You continue shouting whilst pointing at him “Learn how to keep comments to yourself and maybe you won’t be getting into argument all the time!”, Thunderlane looked like he was about to make another unneeded comment but he suddenly backs down and looks to the ground. From behind you and can hear Dash giggling a bit, which most definitely annoyed you more “AND YOU!” You shout again turning toward her, causing her to jump “You need to learn how to control that attitude of yours! I get the whole pride thing, but getting all over offended when insults you slightly is not a good way to act for someone your age, seriously! Grow up!”
Taking another quick glance at both of them, to see that they’re both quite embarrassed by the scolding that you’ve given them. Rolling your eyes and shaking your head you extend your wings and fly off leaving the three of them behind on the field.

After you’re little burst of anger you stormed off home hoping to calm down. A couple of hours have gone by and you’ve definitely no longer angry, but still a little annoyed. But you also feel ashamed of yourself for losing your temper so easily over a little thing like that. Right now you’re sitting on your couch just reading a comic book you bought from a comic book shop on the edge of town. Whilst in the middle of reading there was a knock on your door, placing the book on the coffee table you trot over to the door. Slowly opening it you see two ponies standing there. These ponies were Eva and Winterheart.
“Hey StarGazer!” They both said at the same time with happiness in their voice
Confused from there unplanned visit you respond with “Err… Hey guys. What’s bring you here?”
“Well we heard that you went off on Rainbow Dash and Thunderlane,” said Eva
Blushing in embarrassment you smile awkwardly and say “Oh, you heard about that huh?”
They both nod to confirm your question, then Winter Heart says “we were coming by to watch you guys, but when we got there you were yelling at them and flew off”
The feeling of embarrassment washes over you more and more knowing that the two mates where there when you lost your temper “Sorry you had to see that” you apologized as you looked at the ground
“It’s fine, Star” Eva reinsured, you lifted your head back up to looking at them again “What do you expect when two big egos like Dash and Thunderlane collide”
“So to maybe help cheer you up. We got you this”, Winter Heart then reaches into a bag, that she was carrying on her wing. She then pulls out a 1,0 litre of whiskey. Once you see the bottle you eyes widen and you let out a short chuckle
“I remember you saying that you miss having drinks with your friends back home” Eva adds “So we were thinking we could all share a drink” she continues. Whisky Winter Heart shakes the bottle a little
A huge smile comes across your face. Not because of the idea of having a drink after so long would be nice, but the fact that these two sweet mares have come to you for the sole purpose of cheering you up, and that made you feel fuzzy inside.
“Why not? I’m not working tomorrow, on in” you say happily, whilst stepping aside to let the two ponies in
Once they’re both in your small house you shut the door behind you and offer them to take a seat on the couch. As you take your seat, in between the two of them, Winter Heart places the whiskey bottle on the table and reaches into her bag again to pull out three rock glasses. Eva does the honors of opening the bottle of whiskey and pouring it into each of your glasses. With a cheers and clinking on the glass you bring the amber liquid to your lips, feeling the burn of the liquor on your tongue you swallow to feel the sensation continue down the throat. After you glass was empty you recoil from the heat of the liquid and shake yourself to feel slightly normal again, the three of you place the glasses on the table at the same time. As you sit back the only thought that went through your mind was how much you really need that.
Breaking the silence Winter Heart ask “Another one?”, to which you and Eva nod at the same time.

As the night went no you and the two mates progressively got more and more drunk. Once you finished a glass one of them would instantly fill it up again. You and Winter Heart were leaning up against the armrests of the sofa, whilst Eva was sitting on the floor resting her head in her arms on the table, you don’t even remember her getting there, to be honest.
During the night you were telling the girls stuff you got up to back home and some childhood stories which made them laugh a lot because of all the mischief you got up too.
After finishing another giggle fit, Eva lifted her head off the table to look at you and said “C’mon, Star! One more story”
Taking a sip of your whiskey, still burning your throat as it goes, you shake your head and replied “no, I’ve already told you loads”
“Come onnnnn, pleassssseeeee” Both Eva and Winter Heart begged. They kept asking and asking until you finally gave in a told them a story you’d hoped you’d forget.
With a sigh, you begin to tell them the story “Well there was this one time Dark Flair, Free Runner and I got chased by the police”
They both sit up from shock once the word police came out of your mouth
“Really?” Asked Winter “What for?”
“We were putting flyer for one of our friend's band around the city”
“How old were you?” Eva asked, following up Winters question
You tap your hoof on your chin, trying to remember how long ago it was “I was probably 14 maybe turning 15” you look at the girl's faces to see total shock, chuckling you continue your story “So we split up to cover more areas. And I think maybe two or three hours later as I was walking in the park to find more places to hang the flyer and cop came running towards me screaming” you cough a little to prepare your voice for the impression you were about to give. “HEY YOU LITTLE PUNK! YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE IN BIG TROUBLE, YOU KNOW THAT?!?” The girls laughed that the voice that you managed to pull off and asked you to continue “Well after that I dropped the flyers and ran, obviously”
“Why didn’t you fly?” Asked Winter
“Because I hurt my wing by…” you sigh and get ready to say the most embarrassing thing “by falling UP the stairs”
Giggles fill the room to the point where you think it’s never going to stop. Shaking your head you say “Come on, it wasn’t that funny”. They continue to giggle which causes you to shake your head again and bring the glass of whiskey to your lips to take the finishing sip, making you feel even dizzier than before.
Once you’ve finished and brought the glass away “STAR!!” The sudden loud noise makes you jump, almost falling off the couch. Recovering from the loudness you look over to see Eva, with her hoof on the table, looking at you with her mouth wide open.
She suddenly points to your hoof and screams “You glass is empty!!” Looking down at your glass and then back up to her, you give her a half smile and shrug “H-Here! You.. you need… m-more...” suddenly she collapses to the floor.
Gasping, along with Winter Heart, you quickly stumble to your hooves and trot over to her to check to see if she’s alright. Once you get to her to crouch down to check if she not hurt. As your checking up and down to see if there are any bruises, you suddenly hear a faint snoring coming from her mouth. Breathing a sigh of relief you smile and sit down before you fall over as well.
“Is she okay?” Winter Heart asks as she sits next to you
“Yeah, thankfully she just fell asleep” you replying smiling at her.
As Winter Heart sits next to you, you can see how much the alcohol has taken effect on her. As she smiles back at you her eyelids start to come down, till they cover half her eyes, and she starts to sway back and forth, bumping you a little bit, until her eyes completely closed, she falls. Luckily you managed to catch her in time before she hits the floor. Holding her in your arms you can’t help but smile at how cute she looks as tiny snores escape her mouth.
Shaking your head and chuckling at the sight you maneuver her around you until she’s laying on back, which was very difficult to do as you were fairly drunk as we. With her sound asleep on your back to trot over to your bedroom and which on the lights. Crouching down, until your back in level with the bed, you tip to one side until Winter rolls off you and onto your bed. After making her she was comfortable you stagger back to the main room to pick up Eva from the floor and do the exact same thing.
When both of the mares are safely tucked into the bed and sit beside them and another smile comes to your face from the view of how cute they look cuddled up together. Turning back around to exit the room, you stop at the door to look back at the girl again to get another cute image. Closing the door behind you, you stumble back to pick up the drink glasses to put in the sink in the kitchen. Since you were there you’d thought you’d better have a glass of water to help you sober up a bit.
When everything was cleared up you sit back down on the sofa to relax for a bit. But before you could do that there was a sudden knock on the front door. Sighing in frustration you get back up again to waddle over to the door, still being drunk you miss the door handle once or twice before finally grabbing it and pulling it open. Standing on the other side was a Rainbow maned mare standing there with the front legs crossed, almost like she was embarrassed to be here, and with her head turned to the side.
Her eyes roll over to look at you and she says “Hey, Star. I… I was wanted to apologize for today”
Blinking at her a couple times you tilt your head and ask “Apologies for what?”
“For the way, I acted. You’re right, I shouldn’t take things to heart and I shouldn’t have gone off on Thunderlane” she responds, turning her whole body towards you
As you were tilting your head you feel like you were to fall over, but luckily you managed to catch yourself by stomping you hoof to stabilize yourself, which also caused Dash to jump a little.
Confused by this Dash looks over your shoulder, getting a clear view of the inside of your house. Once done she looks back at you and asks “Have you been drinking?”
Looking back to the table you see that you left the whiskey bottle there in clear view. Smacking your forehead you turn back to Dash to nod and say “... yeah”
“Did you have all that to yourself?” She asked worrying, stepping closer to you
“Nah. Eva and Winter Heart has most of it. But let me tell ya those girls can drink!” You say enthusiastically
“Where are they now?”
“There in my room sleeping. They passed out!” You answer while trying to hold in your laughter “They can drink but they can’t hold it”
Letting out a small giggle, to which she tries to hide by covering her mouth with her hoof “Alright then, as long as you're not too drunk. Remember we got practice tomorrow so be being all hungover on me” Dash said nudging you with her elbow slightly
“Don’t worry about it” you respond, giving her a small push “I don’t get hangover” to which you bump your chest proudly
“Aren’t you lucky?” Dash said while giving you a smirk, she then turns away from you and says “Well I’ll let you get some rest-“
“Wait before you go”, you cut her off whilst grabbing her arm to lightly pull her back to you. You must have pulled her a little harder than you though since once she turned back around your faces were almost touching. You were about to say something but you were too caught up by looking into her eyes. Wow her eyes were really beautiful, they were the perfect color of dark pink and you couldn’t help but her lost in them for a couple of seconds.
“W-What is it,” Dash said, breaking the silence whilst stepping back.
You’re weren’t sure but you thought you could see a slight blush on her face as well stares at you, waiting for you to tell her what you were going to say.
“Err… T-Thank you” you said whilst still making eye contact.
“F-For what?” She questioned, still with a slight blush
“For selling out your pride to come here and apologizing” you explain and giving her a smile
To which she smiles back and replies “O-Oh yeah, you’re welcome”
“Besides I think it should be me apologising. I shouldn’t of lost my temper like that, it was totally uncalled for. I’m really really sorry” you say to her, while tilting your head down.
Suddenly you feel a hoof under your chin that pushes your head up. You were suddenly greeted with Dash’s face close to yours again, this time making you blush slightly as her eyelids are covering half her eyes. She smiles sweetly at you and says “You don’t need to apologise at all” she then takes her hoof away from your chin and continues “You yelling at us really put us into perspective and I think we can become a better team because of it. And it will all be because of you” Smiling at her you look at her again to see her still smiling back.
You couldn’t help but nuzzle while saying “thank you”. But what surprised you was that she nuzzles you back for a moment and then took a step away. A couple of minutes go by with either of you not saying a word. You just stood there staring at each other and smiling, it might have been your mind playing tricks on you again but you see a pinkish red light comes from her cheeks, which also made heat come rushing to your cheeks as well
“A-A-Anyway I let you get some sleep” She breaks the silence by stuttering a little bit and extending her wing. As she flaps them she ascends to the air.
You wave at her as she goes up and up, but before you could walk back through the door Rainbow Dash stops you by calling out
“Hey Star!”, turning back to her you see that she’s decided slightly and then that’s “If you tell anyone about this… I kill you”
Letting out a big laugh you look up at her to call back “My lips are sealed”

Rewrite: Your Little Adventure
Opening your eyes slowly you feel a slight pain in your head. Sitting up you look around to see that you’re in your living room and laying on your sofa.
“Gah, what happened last night?” You say to yourself as your swing your legs over so that they’re hanging over the front of the couch.
As you turn your body to you see a bottle of whisky on the table in front of you and it all comes back to you. You got drunk last night with Eva and Winter Heart. Chuckling you sit up from the sofa, whilst holding you head in pain, and walk over to the kitchen and grab an empty and filling it up with water. As you walk back to the sofa the handle of the door of you bedroom starts to shake. Once it was fully pulled down it swung open and two mares start to stumble out.
“Good morning” you greet them
They weren’t looking the best, both of their manes and fur were a complete mess. As they walk past you Eva grabs the glass from your hoof and drinks it all in one gulp.
“Thanks” she says as she gives it back to you and then trots over to the sofa and flops down onto it.
Winter Heart stops in front of you and looks up at you with her tired purple eyes and asks “can I have one too?”
Nodding you walk back to the kitchen and grab another clean glass and fill that one up with water as well. Once it was full you trot back over to her and place the glass in her hoof. She smiles at you and takes a couple of sips and walks over to the sofa as well.
When you finally pour a glass of water for yourself you trot over to the two girls to see them both sitting down with their head in there hooves.
“So how are you girls feeling?” You chuckle, already knowing the answer while sitting on the coffee table.
“Like death” Eva mumbles
“Why did we drink so much?” Winter said with tons of regret in her voice
“Because we’re stupid” Eva answers Winter Hearts question as she lifts her head up. She then looks at you and asks “Why aren’t you in any pain?”
“Because I didn’t drink as much as you did” you reply to her “you guy went all out last night”
“I regret it so much. I’m in so much pain!” The white pegasus cries out while trying to smooth her head.
“I have so pain killers, not really sure it will help though,” you say to them
“It’s worth a shot,” Eva says while slumping back into the sofa
Sitting up from the table to trot back to the kitchen yet again and open one of the cupboard. Looking up and down you spot the painkiller and reach out for them. When you grab them you close the cupboard door and walk back to the hungover mares. You open the bottle of painkillers and shake it so three pills fall out on to your hoof, you thought I’d be a good idea for you to take one as well. Handing one pill to each of the girls you watch as they swallow them with water.
“Any better?” You ask, then place the pill in your mouth and swallow it whilst taking a sip.
“Nope!” Eva said putting her head on her hooves again
“Looks like time is the only thing that’s gonna help you guys now”, to which they groan at you “And we need get you both home so you can get some rest”, groaning again they slowly sit up from the couch and follow you to the front door. Once they step outside the two mares cover their eyes a hiss.
Confused you shut the door behind you and see that they’re covering them self from the glare of the sun. You chuckle at the display and say “Geez, are you guys vampires now?”
“Argg it’s too bright!” Eva screams while turning away from the ball of gas in the sky.
Rolling your eyes you pat both of them on the back and said: “Come on, let’s get going”.
Walking down the dirt path you lead the two hungover mares to each their house. You manage to keep them from stumbling into other ponies as you walk by then. With direction from Winter Heart, you trot to a small two-story house, which looks more like an apartment.
“You both live here?” You ask
“Yeah, I live in the bottom floor while Winter lives on the top,” Eva says while walking to the front door.
Winter Heart then turns around to look at you. She then starts to clean closer to you and suddenly you feel warm presents on your face. Shocked, you see the white pegasus presses her lips against your cheek, causing you to blush like mad. When she pulls her lips away, you notice she’s blushing as much as you are, she says “T-Thanks for walking us home”
To stunned to reply to her you hear Eva shout from inside “Yeah! Thanks!”, then followed by “Owww! That was a mistake”
Chuckling at Eva expense you finally say to Winter “W-Well thanks for cheering me up last night”, who nods and turns back around to “Make sure you both get some rest”, she smiles back at you and walking to there home and closes the door behind her.
Sighing with the relief you spread your wings and fly into the sky all the way back to your house. Once you land at the front door you reach for the handle and pull the door open. When you walk inside you instantly trot towards the bathroom to have a relaxing shower.
Turning the shower on you wait for the water to get it to the right temperature and step inside. The water runs down your face and body, cleaning and relaxing you all at the same time. Grabbing the nearby shower gel you squirt a little onto the hoof and start to up and down your body, getting the smell of alcohol out of your fur. Once all the gel was washed off, you stand under the water for a little longer before grabbing the shampoo and conditioner. You apply those to your mane and wash them out.
Once you’ve finished your shower you turn it off and step out and grab the towel to dry yourself. Rubbing the cloth over your body until you were completely dry you place the towel on your head and start to dry off your mane. When you finished with your mane you look into the mirror to see that you’ve made it into a right mess. Grabbing a comb you start to brush your mane to the usual way you style it.
Finishing with your shower you trot back to your leaving from and fall back onto the couch. Sighing with comfort you start to look up at the ceiling and get lost in your own thought. But one thought suddenly came to mind… where you supposed to be somewhere today?
Then suddenly you remembered. You need to be at the park to practice! You quickly shot up from the sofa and ran to the door, opening it and closing it behind you. Making sure you’ve locked your house you spread your wings once again and shoot off towards the park.
“I hope Rainbow isn’t too mad,” You think yourself as you quickly make your way to the race track. As your flying, you managed to spot your three teammates, all stretching and breathing heavy as they’ve already been training. Pushing your wings faster you managed to reach them quickly.
As your rushing over to them, Cloudchaser spots you in the sky and shouts “There you are! I was starting to think you weren’t going to show up!”
You land next to Rainbow Dash and start to apologize “I’m so sorry I’m late! I had to walk Eva and Winter Heart home and completely forgot about training this morning! I’m really sorry!”
Rainbow Dash turns towards you. The look on her face shows that she is clearly annoyed with you for forgetting. But her lips soon turn into a smile as she says “It’s alright, Star. I understand you had an eventful night”, you look at her stunned, you were curtain that she was going to flip out “But don’t let it happen again, okay?”, instead of questioning why she’s not angry with you, you just simply nod and smile
“WHAT THE HELL!!” The dark grey pegasus shouts, catching you all off guard “He’s an hour and a half late! If it was me you would off bitten my head off!”
Rolling her eyes Dash responds to him “So what Thunderlane? Star had a valid excuse for why he was late”
Before Thunderlane was about to respond, you cut him off by saying “Guys come on, let’s not have a repeat of yesterday huh?”, you chuckle as you wrap your arms around there shoulders and bring them into a huddle. Dash lets out a slight giggle, while Thunderlane just rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
When you let go of the two ponies Cloudchaser walks over and stand next to you. She then asks “What are we doing next?”
“What have you guys done already?” You say to the rainbow-maned pegasus
“We’ve just been doing some warm-up laps” Dash answered
“Okay, so how about we do a little practice of the wing trick?”
“Sounds good!” Dash says happily, she’s clearly taken a liking to the wing technique
“And what will we do after that?” Asks Thunderlane, crossing his arms
“I was thinking maybe we should practice relaying, because of what happened yesterday we didn’t get a chance to do it if that’s cool with you guys” you explained
“Sure thing, coach!” Cloudchaser said happily
“Coach? Really?” You question and tilting your head
“You are the most expected in racing, so it makes sense if we just follow what you say” Rainbow Dash chimes in “Plus we’ve been following your training regime anyway, so you might as well be the coach”
“Well… alright then” you say to them. Clapping your hooves together you then clear your throat and turn away from your team. You begin a speech like, what you think, a coach would give “So team! Let see how well you’ve gotten the hang of the trick! I hope you’ve all been practicing in your free time! And if you haven’t then we’re going to have a problem on our hooves! And that-”
You were suddenly cut off by the sound of snorts and giggles from behind you. When you turn around to confront them you can see that they’re all trying very hard to contain themselves
“Something funny?” You ask, unamused
All three of them, with their mouths closed, trying to hold back there giggles, shake their heads ‘no’. With a ‘Hmph’ you continue with your speech.
“AS I was saying!” You glare at them, which only makes them struggle to hold back even harder, “We’re going to have a serious problem if you guys haven’t been practicing on technique on your free time!”, you then start to pace back a fourth “Because if we REALLY want to win this race then I say we kick our butts into high gear!”, you stop pacing for a moment turn and have your back to them again “So I don’t want to hear any whining! Any crying! Or any-“
You were cut off once again when you’re team suddenly burst into laughter. Turning around yet again you see that they’ve fallen to the floor clutching their stomachs as they let loose a barrel of laughs. Confused by this you keep asking “What? WHAT?!” but you get no replies, apart from mocking laughter. Rolling your eyes you sit down on the grass and cross your arms a patiently wait for them to finish.
After a long time, they all finally calm down and get back into their hooves. As they catch their breath Dash whips away a tear from her eyes and say “Sorry, Star. But you trying to be an intimidating coach just doesn’t work for you”
“Yeah, dude” Thunderlane agree with her, then getting one last chuckle out “You couldn’t be any less intimidating if you tried”
Confused was the look you had on your face. You’ve been intimidating before… right?
Still giggling, Cloudchaser then walks up to you and says “You’re just too cute to intimidate anyone, StarGazer”, she then pinches your cheek like you were a little colt.
You push her hoof away from your cheek and shoot them a glare of annoyance, this wasn’t the feedback you were hoping for when you first started you coach speech.
Rainbow Dash extends her wings and hovers over to you so that you’re looking up at her. She then ruffles your mane while saying “So just stick to your normal, adorable, self. Okay?”
Moving your head away from her hoof you start to think of a way to come back from this. Scanning your brain for a response to them, you manage to think of a fairly good one to maybe embrace Dash a little bit.
Smirking you look back up at the Rainbow Pegasus and say “So you think I’m adorable huh?”
Dash’s smile soon fades into a slight blush “W-Well adorable I-in the sense of-“ she starts to stumble on her words looking an excuse to try and win this battle of words. “I-in the sense that you’ve got a good personality” she then ends her statement with a little chuckle.
“Uh-huh, sure,” you say in a mocking tone
“That is what I meant!” Dash said as she decided down to the grown to be eye level with you.
“Okay, Whatever you say”, to which she rolls her eyes at you and shakes her head, but you can still see that she’s still blushing slightly. Then turning to Cloudchaser you ask “and you think I’m cute, do ya?”, hoping that she’ll have the same reaction as Dash
But instead, she answers with a “Yup!”, which surprises you instead, she then pinches your cheek again and said in a voice like she was talking to a foal “You’re just a wittle cutie pie”
Again too stunned to respond you just sit there as she continues to pinch your cheek. Those this pegasus actually thinks your cute? Nah.. she got to be messing with you! She saw the way that Dash acted and knew you’d do the same thing to her. Finally shaping out of your thought, you push Cloudchaser hoof away from your cheek and smile at her and say “Well… thanks for the compliment I guess”
“You’re welcome, hot stuff” she replies to you with a wink
“OKAY SERIOUSLY?!” Thunderlane shouts again “We are wasting a lot of time right now!” He continues, with a hint of annoyance in his voice
“Ahhh crap, he right!” Dash perks up “We really need to stop getting distracted!”
“Alright! Alright!” You say in a rush “Let’s now let's go started!”
You all trot over to the starting line to begin training, you tell everyone to go to the starting position that they are assigned to. Sticking to Rainbow Dash's plan, you will start off and tag Cloudchaser, who will tag Thunderlane and he’ll tag Rainbow Dash who will finish off the race.

After hours and hours of practicing with your team your wings are aching like mad and boy were you tired, all you wanted to do now was go home and get some rest. Once you’ve said your goodbyes to everyone you turn around to walk back home, and maybe grab some stuff on the way back when you were suddenly stopped when a voice called out to you.
“StarGazer! Wait up!”
Turning back around you see Thunderlane trotting over to you
“What’s up?” You ask him as he stops in front of you
“I need to ask you something”
“Go for it”
“Could you do me a favor”, you nod slightly as he asked, “Could you not flirt with Cloudchaser?”
Err.. what did he just ask you? Stop flirting with Cloudchaser? You haven’t been flirting with her in the slightest, all you’ve ever done is talk to her like you’d talk to any other pony.
You look at him with confusion and say “Excuse me?”
“Listen…” he stops for a moment and looks around to see if anyone is listening, once he’s done he look back at you and continues “I have a bit of a crush on Cloudchaser… and I really want her to like me back… so if you do anything to mess that up, things won’t be cool between you and me”
“Thunderlane, you have the wrong idea my friend” you pause for a moment because you think you were able to hear him say ‘I’m not your friend’ under his breath, shrugging it off you say “I’m not flirting with her so you have nothing to worry about”
“Yeah, I better not have to worry about anything. Because if I catch you flirting with her in the slightest … you’re gonna be in deep trouble” He said angrily while getting closer to your face
Shocked and confused you take a step back from him, so he isn’t so close to you
“You can take it as a threat if you want. But just know things won’t end well for you” He says with a smirk. And before you could respond to him he then said “See ya” before extending his wings a flying away, leaving you behind all confused about what just happened.
Once you snap out of your thought you notice your rainbow maned teammate flying up to the sky and landing on a cloud. Now, this seems odd to you, she could get in some serious trouble if she’s on there for too long, and being a captain for the weather team who knows what could happen. Thinking it would be for the best for the weather team to continue working you would go up there a tell Dash to get off the white fully cloud.
Flapping your wings you fly up to her. As you get closer you notice that she’s getting herself comfortable, almost like she getting ready for a nap… that was definitely something the weather team would not be happy about.
Once you reach her you call out “Dash!”, which makes her jump, clearly not noticing you making your way to her
She looks over at you, unimpressed and shouts back at you “Don’t sneak up on me like that!”
“Oh, sorry” you apologize, smirking and starching your neck with a chuckle
“What do you want? You’re interrupting my nap” she asks, as she lays down on the cloud
“Well, that’s what I’m here for. You can’t be sleeping on the cloud while the weather team is out on shift”
Dashes annoyed face then tunes into a confused one. She tilts her head to the side and asks “Are you be serious right now Star?”
“Yeah, I am! I got in trouble once for standing on a cloud for less than a minute back at Fillydelphia!” You start “And you, being a captain, who knows what would happen to you if they see you napping in one!”
Her expression changed again, from confused to a smirk. Her smirk then turns into a giggle when she says “Star, there are some things you need to know while you’re living here” she then giggles into her hoof again and continues saying “You’re allowed to sit on clouds here in Ponyville. No consequences or anything”
“Really?” You ask “I was also told I could never go on clouds anywhere when I was a young colt” You continue as you float down onto the white fully mass, you hesitate for a second before you land and then remembered Dash said that you wouldn’t get in trouble for it.
“So you’ve never slept on a cloud before?” Dash questions and you respond with a shake of your head “You’re a Pegasus and you’ve never once stayed on a cloud your whole life?”
You confirmed again with a nod and add “Because my dad works for the weather team back home, and he always told me I’m not allowed to even stand on a cloud anywhere in Equestria” you carry on while sitting down “Plus my Mum never wanted me to go up on clouds anyway because they were too high. She thought I might fall off or something”, you end your explanation to Dash with a chuckle as you remember the exact words she said to you.
“Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever met a pegasus who’s never even stood on a cloud for more than a minute,” The rainbow maned mare says as she looks up at you and giggles again
“I can definitely see what I’ve been missing out on. These things are soft and comfortable.” You said as you started kneading the cloud like a cat does when it wants to get comfortable “I’m so gonna have to tell Dark Flair about this next time I write a letter home”, hearing Dash giggle again you look at her with a smirk.
“Once you sleep on a cloud you’d never want to go back to a normal bed,” Dash said as she rested her head on her hoof.
“These things that good of a bed huh?”
“Of course they are!” Dash, almost, shouted “I have a cloud bed in my house and I could just say in it for days” She continued and then rolled onto her back and look up into the sky
Starting to knead the cloud again with your hooves you just can’t get used to how soft it really is! Yes, you’ve been on clouds before, and your job is all about clouds, but you never got the chance to appreciate how soft they really are, they just felt like soft marshmallows wrapped in kitten fur and freshly sheared sheep's wool.
Rainbow Dash turns her head back to look over at you as your kneading the white mass and sees the look of wonder on your face. Giggling again she rolls over back into her tummy and pats the cloud, grabbing your attention, then says “Well don’t just sit there, lay down” She invites you, then patting the cloud again.
Slowly lowering yourself to the white fully ball your eyes widen as the unexpected warmth of the cloud covers your underbelly and then shoots through your whole body. Once you’re fully laying on the cloud the feeling of pure comfort overwhelmed you and nothing but a relaxing sigh escapes your mouth.
“Comfy isn’t it?!” Dash asked you, raising an eyebrow and smirking
“Mmm-hmm” Are the only words that come out of your mouth before you roll onto your side “I can see why you nap on these things”. Suddenly your eyes widen when remembered what she said earlier about you interrupting her nap. Feeling a wash if guilt flow over you, you roll back onto your stomach and apologize to her “I just realized I’m interrupting your nap! I’m so sorry, I’ll let you get back to it”
But before you could get back up to extend your wings to fly off home, Rainbow Dash stopped you by saying “It’s okay, Star. I don’t mind” She then smiled at then and continued “Since you’re helping me get faster with this training, I’ll let you off”
Look back at her, you smirk and tease her by saying “You’ve been very nice to me today”
Her smiles disappear and is replaced with a frown “What is that supposed to mean? I’m always nice!”
“Yeah” you than mutter “Usually” under your breath, but you have a feeling that she might have heard you “But you’ve been nice in the way that you weren’t mad at me for being an hour late.”
“an hour and A HALF late” Dash corrects you
“You then compliment me by calling me adorable”, you smirk at her again and you can see a slight blush on her face “And now you’re not mad at me for interrupting your sleep. Who are you and what have you done with Rainbow Dash?”
She rolls her eyes at you and says sarcastically “haha, you’re very funny”
“I know, I’m hilarious!” You say pridefully, teasing her more
“You’re an idiot is what you are!” She shouted, clearly getting annoyed with you
“There’s the real Rainbow Dash!” You joked as you crawled over to her because you didn’t feel like getting up. Even though she tried to hide it she was smiling at your silly display as you scooted closer to her. You then ask “Where have you been all day? I’ve been looking for ya’.”
“If you weren’t on my team I would throw you off this cloud” She grumbled, still trying to hide her smile.
“Pfft, Yeah right!” you cackled, you then sat back up onto the flank and stare down at Dash who was look back up at you “Like your strong enough to take down this Pegasus! I’m the alpha of our team!” You mocked, pounding your chest with your hoof.
You closed your eyes for a second as your beating your chest but the wind suddenly the wind gets knocked out of you and your back and head colliding with a soft surface. Opening your eyes from the brief pain you see Rainbow Dash on top of you with a confident smirk
“So who’s the alpha again?” She asked while getting closer to your face
“You're lucky you caught me off guard,” You say to her, unimpressed from her sneak attack “I’m still the alpha”
You go to sit up but you’re suddenly pushed back down again with Dash placing her hooves on your chest to pin you in place.
“Who’s the alpha?” She asked again
Quickly you grab her hooves and pull her to the left, causing her to let out a little yell of surprise. Using her momentum to your advantage you bring yourself with her as she falls. Once her back lands on the cloud you let go of her hooves and roll on top of her. Rainbow Dash looks up at you in surprise, to which you raise one eyebrow and shoot a cocky smirk. You lean in closer to her ear and whisper “I’m the alpha”
Once you pull away from her ear you look back down at her with another one of your signature smirks. But your smirk slowly fades away as you start to notice the look on Dash’s face. Her eyes were wide open and her pupils were a big as dinner plates and then another blush starts to appear on her cheeks. You were about to ask if she was okay… but you got lost in those red eyes of hers and can’t help but think how cute and beautiful she really is. As times goes on you still continue to be lost in her eyes as you notice the shade of red on her face gets darker and darker with each passing second.
Finally swallowing the lump in the throat you manage to spit out “A-are you okay?”
“Y-yeah I’m fine!” Dash said quickly, turning her head to the side trying not to make eye contact with you “J-Just get off me!” she continued, placing her hooves on your chest and shoving you.
You stumble back, as she pushed pretty hard, and manage to catch yourself from falling over. Watching as Dash gets back on to her hooves as well you both stand there in silence as she tried to hide her face from you.
“Are you sure you’re okay? I didn’t hurt you did I?” You question taking one step closer to her
“No, you didn’t hurt me at all...” She said, still refusing to look at you “B-Besides! I already said I’m fine! So why are you asking again anyway!”, she suddenly snapped at you, to which you took a step back
“Alright, alright!” You replied “I was just making sure”
“You should’ve done that anyway!!” The blue pegasus raised her voice at you. She finally turns her head back towards you and takes a small step toward you, causing you to take another step back “what if you could have hurt me! Then I maybe I wouldn’t be able to compete in the race!”
With every word she said she took steps closer to you and out of slight fear, you take steps back to keep a safe distance for her. But with each step, you, unknowing, get closer and closer to the edge of the cloud surface you both were standing on.
As she gets closer and closer to you your hind hoof comes into contact with nothing. Looking back your eyes widen as you realize that you were running low on cloud to stand you. As you begin to turn you become face to face with an angry Rainbow Dash, causing you to bump into her and suddenly losing your balance!
As one of your hind hooves, has nothing to step on, the force from you trying to keep your grip on the cloud causing that hoof to pull your down, letting out a yelp. Your reactions were too late for you to try and grab on to the edge of the white mass in the sky so you started to fall to the ground.
“STARGAZER!” Dash screamed as she looks over the edge of the cloud.
You were falling, and falling fast. You extend your wings to try and slow you down but since you were still in a small state of shock you extended them a little too late for you to have a smooth landing. As you begin to flap your wings and start to move diagonally, trying to reduce the speed of your fall. You stick out your front hooves and hope to maybe catch yourself when you hit the ground. As the grass and dirt of the field start getting closer you ready yourself and start to flap your wings harder and harder. Once your hooves come into contact with the ground you’re suddenly shot forward causing you to stumble across the grass until you lose your footing and fall to the ground, even making you slide a bit. Once your sliding came to a stop, you lay face down on the grass.
“Arg, Okay, that hurt” you mumble to yourself

Bandages and Measurements
“OH MY GOSH, STAR! ARE YOU OKAY!?” A voice came from above
Rolling over slightly, trying not to cause yourself any more pain, you look up to see Rainbow Dash fly towards you with a worried look on her face.
Putting your hooves under you, you push up from the ground, slowly, and groaning “I’m, I’m good”
“Here let me help you,” Dash said as she helps you back onto your hooves.
Once you were finally standing, even though your legs were a little shaky, you manage to stay upright and breath in some air to calm you down a bit.
“Ooh, your face is all cut up,” Dash said as she places a hoof under your chin to turn your face towards her so she can get a better look.
Pulling your face away from her hoof you stroke your face to see if you can feel them. You hiss as you touched one of the cuts.
“I’m so sorry!” She quickly apologies as she stays close to you since you were still a little off balanced
“It’s fine,” you say to her “I’ve survived worse”
“No! It’s not fine!” Dash yelled at you, making you jump slightly “I could have seriously injured you! And there is no way I would be able to live with that type of guilt and-“ she suddenly stops mid-sentence and her mouth gapes open. When you were about to ask what was wrong she shouts “YOUR LEG IS BLEEDING!”
Looking over to where she was pointing to you see your left hind leg and a pretty big cut on the side of it with blood dripping out and staining your fur. Shocked would be a word to describe the look on your face and the only words that came out of your mouth were “Oh yeah”
“Come on quick! We need to get you to Fluttershy!” Dash said as she grabs your front hoof and started ascending to the sky with the flap of her wings.
Flapping your wings as well you let Dash drag you through the air towards where the yellow pegasus lives. You then ask “Okay… but why Fluttershy?”
“Because she has first aid training! She’ll know what to do!” She said frantically as she continues to lead you by the hoof.
“But so do nurses” you suggest
“She lives closer, come on!” Dash replied tugging on your arm. She then starts flapping her wings fast dragging you along with her, while you flap your wings lightly.
You look back at your leg and cringe at the sight of the blood flowing out of it. The cut was as long as half of your hoof and by the amount of red coming from it, it must have been pretty deep.
Not before long you and Dash arrived at a small cottage on the outside of Ponyville. As you’re flying over to it you spot many different types of animals all running around, being feed and other stuff that animals do. You both reach the ground in front of the door, but you keep your injured hind leg from touching the ground.
Knocking on the door fast and loudly Dash yells “FLUTTERSHY! WE NEED YOUR HELP!”, slightly scaring some of the animals behind you.
Even after yelling Dash continues to bang on the door. Looking behind you watch all the animals run off scared from Dash’s loud voice, you chuckle slightly and then look back down at your leg and cringe yet again at the sight of it. The blood from your leg has Almost reached down to your hoof and about to drip onto the ground. Not wanting to disgust yourself by looking at your wound to turn back to Dash who was still knocking. You then notice that Dash was still holding your hoof in hers.
Just as you were about to ask Dash a question the wooden door suddenly opened with a long pink maned pegasus standing there with a worried look on her face.
“W-What’s wrong, Rainbow Dash?” she asked with a soft uneasy tone in her voice
“StarGazer cut his leg! And it’s bleeding pretty bad” Dash explains, to which Fluttershy gasped “I was hoping you could maybe help with your first aid thingy!”
“O-Okay! I’ll be right back!” She then turned around and galloped back into her house, leaving you and Dash outside.
Dash, probably not realizing, was still holding onto your hoof and started gripping it tighter. She then turns towards you and asked: “How are you holding up?”
Raising one eyebrow at her you say “I’m fine. It’s just a cut, nothing to make a big deal out of”
“I know. But you had a nasty landing!” Dash proclaims, squeezing your hoof harder “And you slid across the grass! So maybe some dirt and some other stuff could have got in your cut and you could get an infection” she continued while stepping closer to you “It’s better to be safe than sorry!”
Deciding not to argue with her you just agree with her and say “Yeah I guess you’re right… you can let go of the hoof now by the way”
Confused Dash looks down at her hoof to see she was still holding on to yours. Blushes she lets go and say “S-sorry, I just got a little worried”
Chuckling you say back to her “I could tell”
Soon Fluttershy comes back, hovering in the air, carrying a green box with a plus sign on it in one hoof and a cup of water with a rag init in the other. She looks at you and then your cut on your leg and say, in her soft voice “Ohh that looks bad. Could you please sit up against that fence, StarGazer… if you don’t mind”
Looking over to where she meant you nod and trot over to it, while still trying to keep your injured leg off the ground. As you reach the fence you turn back around to lean up against it and slide down into a sitting position and extending your two hind legs out, again keeping the injured one off the ground.
Fluttershy than comes over and sits beside your cut leg and places both the water and the first aid kit on the ground. While Dash trots over and sits by your other leg. Bring the rag out of the cup Fluttershy dabs the cloth around your wound, cleaning your fur. Once she's done that she then rinses the red coloured water off the cloth onto the grass and then dips it back into the jug. The yellow pegasus than places the wet rag on your cut cleaning it out, to which you try and hold in your pain.
Once she was done with cleaning your cut she then opens up the first aid kit and pulled out an antibiotic ointment tube. She then grabbed a cotton ball and drips some of the ointment onto it. Before she began dabbing the cotton ball onto your injury she looked at you and said “Sorry, this might sting a bit”
“Ahh it’s fine” You reassure her “I’m from Fillydelphia! We’re tough as nails!”
Fluttershy giggled at your comment while Dash just simply smiles and rolls her eye. Suddenly a massive sting shot through your body as the yellow pegasus places the cotton ball on your cut. The sting was so bad that it made you hiss and cry out “Ahhh!”
“I’m sorry!” Fluttershy instantly says after your short burst of pain “I should have told you I was about to place it on your cut”
“Thought you were tough as nails?” Dash chuckles, mocking you
“Yeah… well…” you start, embarrassed by your confident statement being throw out the window “that one stung.. a lot. I wasn’t expecting it!” you try to defend yourself but all the girls did was giggle at you.
When Fluttershy was done rubbing the antibiotic on your cut she then pulled out a roll of bandage and started unraveling it. She then started to wrap it around your leg until you could no longer see the wound. When your leg was covered she took off the end and tied it up with a nice looking bow… but a bow really? That's what she uses to keep the bandages from falling off your leg? She does know you’re a guy right?
When she was done tieing the bow on your leg she then gives you a smile while closing her eyes and says “All done”
“Thank you, Fluttershy,” You say to her and start to stand up on your hoofs again, as so do the girls as well. Looking back down to your leg you finally set it down to the ground and it doesn’t hurt... Well, it does a little bit but you can deal with it. As you look back at your leg you can’t help notice how the bow sticks out like a sore hoof, feeling embarrassed you look back at Fluttershy again and say “I really appreciate it... But did you really have to tie a bow on the bandage?”
Confused, Fluttershy looks down at your leg and realized what you mean, blushing she explains “sorry, I’m so used to be bandaging up cute little animals with bows that I kinda did it without realizing”
“What’s wrong with it, Star?” Dash said smirking at you “Is this bow going to affect your masculinity?”, she continued teasing you.
“Yes as a matter of fact!” You say turning towards her “Do I look like a cute little animal to you?”
Dash pauses for a moment tapping her hoof on her chin trying to think of an answer. She then looks back at you and says “You’ve got me in a box here!”, you tilt your head in confusion, she then explains “If I say no, then it’ll sound like I’m being mean! And if I say yes then you’ll end up teasing me cause I called you cute!”
Laughing at her answer you respond by saying “Yeah I guess you right”
The sounds of soft giggling came from behind you. Slightly confused by the sound you turn back around to see Fluttershy cover her mouth with her hooves whilst she laughs. You’re not the only one though, Dash trots over to your side to look at Fluttershy as well. With the yellow mare still giggling into her hooves, you and Dash exchange confused glances at one another wondering what’s she laughing at.
“Are you okay, Fluttershy?” Dash asks stepping closer to her friend
Finished with her giggle fit the pink-maned mare look back at the two of you and says “Ohh you two are two sides of the same bit”
Sharing another confused glance with Dash she turns back to Fluttershy and says “And what do you mean by that?”
Giggling once more Fluttershy explained “You two are one in the same. It’s like you’re made for each other”
You and Dash suddenly start blushing at that comment. Made more each other? Is she being serious? Sharing another awkward glance at Dash, still both blushing.
“T-Thanks… I-I guess” you stutter out, which makes Fluttershy giggle once again.
Nothing but silence falls upon this conversation making the three of your stand around all awkward. You scratch your face in response to this awkwardness only to hiss in pain again, which makes the two mares look over at you. Touching your cheek again with the tip of your hoof you pull it away and look at it to see a small amount of blood.
“Oh ew” is the only response you had to the sight of the red stain
“Did you just open a cut on your face?!” Dash said turning towards you, clearly annoyed
“Not on purpose,” you say to her, then putting your hoof back to your cheek to stop the blood from showing
Sighing in response Dash looks over to Fluttershy and asks “Could you sort him out again, please?”
Giggling once the shy pegasus nods and walk over to her first aid kit again.

Walking… well limping down the dirt path, as your bandages up leg still hurt slightly whenever you put a little pressure on it, you trot back to Ponyville. But one thing is on your mind… the bow on the end of your bandage sticks out! And it’s pretty embarrassing, to say the least. Look back at your leg and scrunch up your face as you think of all the comments that you might get from passersby.
“Still worrying about the bow?” Dash asks as she trots alongside you.
You’ve told Dash before that she didn’t need to help you to get back home. But she keeps saying that she feels responsible for you falling off the cloud and getting your leg and face all cut up.
“Yeah” you respond “I know for sure that someone is going to make fun of it” you then look back at the bandage again.
“Either that or they’re going to ask what happened” Dash giggles at her own answers “But I think the band-aid on your face is probably the first thing that ponies will notice”
Bring your hoof back to your cheek to touch the plaster on your face only to have your hoof smacked back down by the sky blue mare. Looking back over to Dash, who was annoyed with you yet again, she says “Stop touching it!”
“I’m sorry!” You apologize to her “It’s just so irritating!” You continue while stomping your hooves on the ground in frustration
“You can take it off later” She replies “Just leave it on for now so it can heal”
“Geez, what are you, my mum?”
“Feels like it since I’m looking after your dumbass” Dash said jokingly
“You’re the one who’s insisting on looking after my dumbass”
“You're dumbass just can’t be trusted by yourself. You might take off your bandages on if you’re left alone” Dash continues and nudges you a little
Pausing to think of a way to respond to her comment the blue mare lightly pushes you and says “You took too long for a comeback I win!”
You try and think of something you can say back to her but nothing comes to your mind. You’re usually really good with comeback and retaliation but your mind has just gone blank. It seems like Dash might be getting better than you with silly comments
Signing in defeat you look over at the Rainbow mare, who which is smiling back at you due to her ‘win’ over you, and say “Yeah alright”, to which her smile gets bigger… and honestly, you can’t help but think how cute it is. “But I’ll get another point soon”
Dash’s smile fades to a confused look and asks “Point? What point?”
“You know… leaving either other speechless. Like, I got you twice today, once during practicing and the other when we were on the cloud” you explain to her “So it’s 2-1 to me! Cause I’m the alpha!”
Rolling her eyes at you once again, a sight that you’ve come to know well, she looks back to you and says “Don’t start that alpha thing again. That’s how you got hurt in the first place” she ends with giggles
“Nice to know you think my pain is funny” you jest at her
“It wasn’t at first!” Dash defends herself “But now you’re all fine now. So looking back it’s pretty funny” she smiled ending with another cute giggle
Laughing with the Rainbowed maned mare you finally trot into the Ponyville and start making your way down the town center.
As you’re chatting with Dash a posh elegant voice calls out “Hello, my darlings!”
Looking in front of where you’re walking you see a white unicorn with a purple curly mane trotting gracefully towards the two of you
“Hey, Rarity! How are you doing?” Rainbow greets her friend, while you just smile at the unicorn as she trots closer
“I’m doing fine thank you” The white mare respond to the blue pegasus.
Once Rarity stops in front of the two of you her eyes look over at you and her happy expression changes to a shocked “Oh my StarGazer! What happened to you?! Your face is all cut up!”
Before you could answer her question Rainbow Dash nudges you and says “See I told you that would be the first thing ponies would notice” to which you chuckle and nod at her
“First thing?” Rarity questions, you and Dash then point down to you're banged up leg which causes the white unicorn to gasp and then repeats and her earlier question “What in Equestria happened to you?”
You then casually explain to her “Well I lost my footing and fell from a cloud”, which caused her to gasp “And since my reactions were a little late I didn’t have time extended my wings at the right time for a proper landing. So I hit the ground, slid across the grass… and I believe I must have cut my leg on a rock or a branch as I was sliding”
Gasping again Rarity gets close to you and say “Oh you poor thing! You’re not in any pain are you?”
“No not at all,” you say calmly “Dash took me over to Fluttershy's and she fixed me right up! Hense Fluttershys signature bow on it”
“Well, that’s delightful to hear that you’re alright. You had me worried for a second thinking it might have been something far worse”, you respond to her comment with a chuckle, she then gets closer to you again making some heat come up to your cheeks as her face was almost touching yours “Please promise me you’ll be more careful next time! I don’t know what I would do if something bad ever happened to a sweet cult like you”
Still blushing from her beautiful face so close to yours you stutter out “O-Okay I will”, to which she responds with a giggle and a smile. Her face still being close to yours you start blushing harder and harder to which she must have noticed since Rarity lets out another giggle
“Alright, Rarity. You can back up now” Dash said, unamused
Backing away from you, The white unicorn turns toward her friend and said “What’s wrong? I was only making sure that he was okay”
“But did you have to get so close to him that your faces were almost touching?” Rainbow explains to her, trying to act like she doesn’t care that much
“I was only checking on him, dear. I don’t understand why you’re getting all huffy about it-“ Rarity suddenly cuts herself off with an excited gasp, which worries you and Dash slightly, and then continues saying “Are you two an item!?”
Another sudden rush of heat comes to your face, as well as Dash. The rainbow maned mare then shouts “N-NO!”, which causes some ponies to turn and look in your direction
“W-We’re not an item!” You stutter out to the white unicorn
“Really?” Rarity asked, raising an eyebrow in suspicion “Then how come you two have been spending so much time together?”
“We’ve been training for the race!” Dash answers back
“I know that. But I’m not talking about when you’re not training” Rarity responded with a small smirk on her face “I’m talking about your off time”, you exchange a confused glance with the blue pegasus, Rarity than continues “You and Rainbow Dash spent the afternoon laying on a cloud together, did you not?”, sharing a worried look with Rainbow and than turn back to with three diamonds cutie marked unicorn and nod, Rarity than says “And If I recall what I saw. I saw you, StarGazer, laying on top of Dash”, her smirk then turned into a full-fledged grin, “And if my memory deserves me, you two were looking passionately into one another’s eyes!”
Blushing hard yet again you try and think of away you could get out of this. You can even see Dash struggling to think of an excuse. Rarity’s starts pressing on waiting for both you and Dash to give her an explanation “Well?”
Thinking on your hooves you than say “Hold on.. you were watching us?”
“Don’t try and change the subject, StarGazer!” Rarity responded, completely knocking your question away
“We were just talking!” Dash shouted yet again “Why does everyone think me and Star are ‘made for each other’ it’s starting to get under my skin!”, Dash finishes crossing her arms in anger
A little shocked from Rainbow Dash's yelling Rarity recoils, probably from guilt from making her friend lose her temper. Sighing the white unicorn than apologies to the both of you “I’m sorry, dear. I shouldn’t have pressed on, knowing that it made you both uncomfortable”
“It’s fine” Dash huffed, but still with a slight blush on her face “Just.. please stop asking stuff like that”
“I promise you will never hear another peep out of me” She promises, even moving a hoof across her mouth making the zip sign “Though the two of you do look cute together,” Rarity said with a giggle at the end, Both you and Dash just roll your eyes at that comment.
You then ask Rarity again “So were you watching us when we were on the cloud?”
“I won’t say watching. I was actually coming by to talk to you both, but then I saw the two of you happily on that cloud and thought I would leave you to it” She explained
“So what was it you wanted?” Asked Dash
“Well I needed some help with some clothes”, To which Dash groaned at “And I wanted you two, since you’re both pegasus, to be my measurements”, and Dash groaned louder “But since that was a couple of hours ago, I’m all done with the clothes”
Breathing a sigh of relief, The blue mare nudges you and says “Looks like we dodged a bullet”, which you chuckle in response
“But however..”, Dash groans once again, but this time only louder and longer “I do need to take one measurement from you, StarGazer”
Your ears perk up from her calling your name and you ask “Which measurement?”
“You’re wings” Rarity responds “I don’t have the correct numbers for male wings, surprisingly enough” ending the statement with another giggle “But if you’re busy there would be no need to worry”
Thinking it over for a couple of seconds you then say to white unicorn “I’m not busy. I can do it”, you then notice the shocked look on Dash’s face
“Oh thank you!” Rarity beamed “You’re a true lifesaver”, in which you chuckle “Come on, let’s get to my shop,” she said before turning around a trotting away
You follow Rarity to her shop, but you notice there was one pair of hoofsteps missing. Stopping and turning around you see Rainbow Dash flying away.
“Dash!” You call out to her. She turns around to you and you ask her “You not coming with?”
“What? And be bored out of my mind? No thanks” she answered you “Plus I want to practice more on that wing trick!” pausing for a moment she taps her hoof on her chin and says “We really need to come up with a name for that technique”, you chuckled and nod your head at her response “Anyway I’ll see you later! And don’t moan about being bored, Rarity absolutely hates that!”, once she said goodbye she flew off with incredible speed.
Chuckling once again you turn back around and gallop and catch up white coated mare.

As you stand in the Carousel Boutique Rarity had asked you to stand as perfectly still as possible and extend your wings while she measures them. Your eyes look around the clothes shop and all you could see was well made and stunning dresses all hung up nicely. As you look around you notice a couple of dresses in a style that you know that your sister and your mother would like.
As your thinking to yourself Rarity snaps your attention when she says “I must say, StarGazer. You have some mighty fine wings!” She compliments you “But I guess that comes with being a racer huh”
Chuckling at her comment you respond “Yeah! Got keep these strong to go faster”
“So is racing all you wanted to do as a young colt?” Rarity asks, wrapping the tape measure around the base of your wing
“Pretty much” you answer “I remember my Dad once got front row tickets to a racing show. So he took me there as a ‘Father-son bonding’” you air quote, which made Rarity giggle “And you know since I’m his only pegasus son he thought I’d enjoy. And he was right!”
Giggling once again she then asked, “So what made you want to race?”
“Well just watching those ponies going so fast really amazed me. But the one pony who really inspired me to race was a stallion by the name of Jet Stream”
“Ah, he must have been a big inspiration to you than, since how fast you’ve become,” Rarity says, then taking another measurement of the length of your wing
“Totally! He one of my favorite racers of all time! He once came up to me after a show I attended and shook my hoof! That literally meant the world to me” you say excitedly as you remember that day as if it was yesterday
“I can imagine so,” the white unicorn said happily and then requested “Could you just retract your wings for me”, to which you follow her orders and do so. Then bring the tape measure back up to your wings and measures the length “Do you have another favorite racer?”
“A mare by the name of Rare Flame comes to mind. She is awesome! She was given the nickname 'Blazing Bird' because of how fast she is! even as her own team called the Blazing Chicks!” You start getting excited again as you actually haven’t thought about Rare Flame in quite a long time
“The Blazing Chicks?” Rarity questions
“The Blazing Chicks!” You repeat “You’ve never heard of The Blazing Chicks before? They’re world famous!”
“Star…” the fashion pony begins “You are aware that I’m not the type of mare who keeps up to date with racing stuff right?”
Lowering your ears in embarrassment you say “Oh yeah… sorry”
“No need to worry” Rarity accepted your apology and then wrap her tape measure around your wing again “So tell me more about Rare Flame? She sound pretty amazing”
“Ahh she is!” you start blushing as you admit to Rarity “I sort of had a crush on her when I was a teenager”, to which She giggled at “She's just so fast that you could just bearly see her! it's truly incredible! And plus she’s so hot dude! She got a big butt as well” you eyes widen as you just realized you said that out loud, quickly covering your mouth you look back at Rarity and say “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to say that perverted comment out loud!”
Rarity’s face goes from shock to a smile as she says “It’s fine, Star. There no need to worry, you obviously must feel comfortable with me if you said that out loud” she explains, still smiling
Taking your hoof away from your mouth you smile back at her and starch the back of your neck and look away, trying to hide your blush and still remains on your face “Y-Yeah... I guess I do feel comfortable around you”
As you turn back to the white unicorn but your suddenly taken back as Rarity as moved closer to you have you almost bumped noses.
Blushing at the slight of Rarity staring at you with her half-closed eyes she then said to you “So… you like mares with big butts do you?”
Gulping and sweating nervously from that question you try to avoid eye contact with her and stutter out “Y-Yeah I-I guess”
“Well…” she said slowly “What do you think of my butt?”
Gulping again you work up to courage to look at her only to see that she’s swaying her hips from left to right, teasing you with its hypnotic swaying motion. You haven’t really noticed until now how much of a sizeable rump Rarity actually has. She continues to sway her hips back and forth waiting for you to answer as she keeps her big blue eyes locked on you, even shooting you a cheeky grin.
Swallowing the lump in your throat you manage to say “I-I think you have a very nice bottom, R-Rarity”, ending with a nervous smile
“Is it as big as you like it?” She pressed on, swaying faster which made her flank jiggle slightly, which made you sweat more than before
As you try to contain yourself and trying not to make your wings POMF'ing out in a wingboner like fashion and mumbled “Y-Y-Yes, very”
Her face gets even more closer to yours were you could feel her hot breath on your nose. Her half shut eyes stare right into your soul making your legs feel like jelly. You just can’t help but think of how gorgeous she really is, her perfectly shaped face, her perfect blue eyes, those perfectly long eyelashes, that perfect smile, that perfectly curled mane, that perfectly shaped body, and her perfect sized plot.
But you’re suddenly taken out of your thought of as she pulls away from you and bursts into laughter. Confused and a tiny bit offended you stand there as the white unicorn continues to let out her laugh to the point where there were tears forming in her eyes.
A couple of minutes passed and she finally calmed down as she wipes the tears away and giggles to you “I’m so sorry Darling! But I just couldn’t resist, the look on your face was priceless”
Still as confused as ever you question “Hold on… what?! You were just teasing me?!”
“Oh come on, dear” Rarity said, as she got the final tear from her eye “You didn’t really think you and I would do something sexual did you?”
“I secretly hoped” you whispered to yourself and stare at the floor
Looking back up at Rarity you give her a look of disapproval and disappointment.
Once she saw the look on your face she giggles again and trots back to you while saying “Oh don’t give me that look, StarGazer. You know I said a while back you’re not the type of colt I’d go for” in which you nod slightly “But if it makes you feel any better I think you’re an amazing cute stallion and any mare would be lucky to have you” she compliments you and puts her soft hoof under your chin, giving it a small stroke
Sighing to the fact that you let yourself get fooled her this mare you decided it would be best just the laugh it off and forget about it. So you just chuckle and say “Thank you”
“Now!” The white unicorn begins, changing the subject “I’ve got all the measurements I need” she then walks over to her desk, in which you try to avoid looking at her butt as she goes, she uses her magic to write down, what you assume, the measurements she took. Then turning back to you and said: “You’re free to go!”
Smiling at her you hop off the podium and start to trot towards the shop door. She thanked you for taking the time out of your day to help her which you told her that it was no problem and you were happy to help. As you open the door and got ready to leave Rarity stopped you by saying one more thing
“Oh, and StarGazer!” She called. Looking back at her she then said “And thank you for the comments about my behind” she then finished her statement with a cheeky wink
Instead of getting all embarrassed you just chuckled and said back “Anytime”
