Hearths Warming Eve. Wonderful time when it is possible to gather all family at a warm fireplace and to spend evening together. Streets were covered by fluffy white snow, and the night sky of a blue velvet on which as if incidentally dropped small sparkling diamonds, drops figured snowflakes. The moon shines, as a wonderful lamp with glowworms to whom the princess Celestia was going to please the little sister. This marvelous night Canterlot changed, from the city of arrogant snobs in a cozy and quiet corner. There are no haughty unicorns who assume airs to heavens — there are ordinary ponies loving games and simple pleasures of life. Everywhere shops, everywhere festive sparks are open. Little fillies run on streets, playing snowballs. Soon them will call for festive dinner, with a favourite dish of all fillies — the sugar lock of princesses.
One half — solar — caramel, with candy windows and with the vanilla sun on a spike of a twisted sweet turret. Another — lunar — from crystal sugar, with flowers from whipped cream and the white coconut moon on chocolate gate.
And at the end of the holiday, all fillies will approach to green fluffy beauties fir-trees and will see colorful boxes with lovely bows. Inside there will be everything of what kids dreamed: the new scooter for Skootaloo, wonderful wreath for Switie Bell, a red bandage on a neck for Applblum, a brilliant saber for Pipsqueak and certainly, big pie in the form of muffin for little Dinkie. Adults, will go to bed, and next morning will find in headboards of the beds wonderful surprises. But who is spirit of this holiday? Certainly, old Granddad Vendigo!
All know a legend of Day of Hearths Warming Center, about three Vendigo that ate hatred and rage. Ponies speak — they evaporated because of power of friendship and harmony — but nobody knows what there was their real destiny. Three Vendigo got to the Astral to which Twilight Sparkle will once get and becomes alikorn. Harmony cleared their frozen souls and gave to everyone special strength. The first found force of Nightmare Night, the second — force of Hearts and Hooves Day, and the third — force of Day of Hearths Warming Center. Began to call them: — Nightmare, Prince and Granddad Vendigo. In the beginning the way, inexperienced spirits of holidays made the mistakes, one trifling, other awful. But having bridled the force, spirits turned the abilities into the best holidays of all times and the ponies.
Granddad Vendigo brings gifts by the adult and to children. Usually foals receive gifts secretly, through the family. Whether it happened to you to find the necessary gift directly before the nose? This is Granddad Vendigo put him here for you
Mighty alicorns too dump the mask of rulers and become small playful fillies. They remember old times as in the childhood had fun, sat at a fireplace and listened to tall tales of the mentor — Starsvirl Bearded. Girls also didn't suspect that the cheerful grandfather tells them about himself.
Many fillies very much wanted to see Granddad Vindigo. One left about a fir-tree a note with a cookies pan, others put harmless traps, but none of them didn't see cheerful spirit.
Once a year, Granddad Vendigo chooses one kid who helps to carry gifts and to arrange a holiday. In the morning the lucky person finds under a pillow a small crystal bottle with sparkling sand. Sand — a lunar dust and dew in sun beams. It I preserved Granddad Vendigo against different troubles and misfortunes.
If to go outside after celebration and gifts, you will be able to see unusual snow. It sparkles more brightly, than the most cut crystal. Snow — is Granddad Vendigo's beard which it loses every year. The beard strongly grows, and by new Hearths Warming Center the spirit even is glad to get rid of it. Sparkles of snow get to the kid to heart and grant it special magic.
Once, these sparks were hit six small fillies in the hearts. You know them, this is Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack. Their sparks grew and waited for a suitable case. The iridescent blow helped sparkles to reveal in fine flowers which became parts of horse innocent souls.
Day of Hearths Warming Center — the warmest, most sincere family holiday. Nobody knows about it those things which I told you. Don't tell about it to anybody. It is a secret.
