A lone humanoid figure gazes over the world of Equestria in spirit. He sees all the oppression that the tyrant Celestia has imposed upon the kingdom. After seeing in for a short while, he shares in their pain. He desires only to free the ponies of this world, but he cannot, because his master's law will not yet allow him.

The story has a "Human" tag, and thematically speaking, this is appropriate; however it is not accurate. The main character is not necessarily a human, despite having a human-like form.
