In the Beginning, there was one world, just one. One planet in a binary star system floating in nothing. My homeland was called Κόσμος των Στοιχειακά or World of the Elementals. It once held the greatest civilization ever formed even after time began. Each creature there was, was bound to one single natural element and no exceptions, however, there were. Two creatures by the names of φλεγόμενο σταυρό, Cross Fire, and σκιά κάτοικος, Midnight Light, were born in this world and had a bit of every element inside their DNA. This lead to a crisis in the world, people panicking in the streets and their parents shocked into cardiac arrest. The reason for this was due to the secret research facility inside the Keep. Every civilian was to have a blood sample taken wen they were born. In return Everyone chose a single element to control for attack and defense. When we were discovered to be able to control all at the same time, they were afraid that we could control them. The civilization was in complete chaos. The High Council called forth a meeting and told them that we were special and would bring glory to the civilization for millennia to come. They also said our birth meant a good omen prophesying that our civilization will forever prosper and thrive. If only it were true.
I still remember my homeland. The grass swaying peacefully in the wind. The white, pure clouds rolling along. The trees that swayed gently with the wind and walked the earth for migration. The birds singing their sweet melodies of peace and harmony. “Utopia” was our model for everything we based our society on. We lasted for millennias. My brother and I grew up in this world in the country called Πηδάλιο του Δράκου in the rural town of Στροφή του ποταμού. Our home was relatively simple, two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, a backyard with a treehouse and a telescope and and lake about a mile south where we used to swim together. Life as we grew up was peaceful. Our parents fed us and raised us to be very strong and hoped us to enlist in the mage programs of the highest magic based school ever,Η μαγεία του φωτός και του σκότους. It was my family’s dream that when we reached the appropriate age, we were to be trained there. The school of Light and Dark was the biggest building of the entire capital. Not even the largest Cathederal could compete with it. Like the building the capital was very large and was built in a circular pattern. We went to a ceremony in the square called Ιερά συγκέντρωση or Holy Gathering as all the candidates came forward to be place into the group of their personal element. For us we had to choose. I chose the light element which gave the ability to see light in the darkest hours and to be a beacon for others to follow. My brother...chose the dark. Greed, lust, and revenge filled his heart as he trained to wipe me out of time and space for eternity.
My brother was very mischievous when he was younger. Now, he’ll lie every time I say this, but one time he placed a tack on the teacher’s chair and when she sat down for lunch, it was hilarious. However, for whatever reason they thought I did it (I think I forgot to mention that we were Identical twins). SO, as always, I would be the one in trouble. Later they found my brother to be the culprit and not me via camera and confirmation by my parents, thank you. Now, I can say that yes I was the favorite in the family over my brother and honestly he might have gotten jealous because I did notice some changes. He started by not conversing with us at all. Whenever we came to the dinner table, he would simply take his food and leave. Another change was what he wore. Instead of the crimson robe he always wore to school, he started wearing black colored clothes. Finally, a black aura surrounded him as he walked and I grew afraid.
My brother became the first ever dark lord. Entranced by his new power, he sought revenge against me and he started with the cruelest thing. Right in front of me, I watched in horror as he murdered my parents choking them with just the force of air crushing their windpipes. My brother laughed the cruelest laugh you can ever imagine times ten. My homeworld started to burn in his rage. Consumed by his power, he destroyed homes, farms, people, everything. Chaos poured like an overfilled cup upon the unexpecting country and my brother laughing maniacally gave in to his greed and wanted more. I had to stop him. No one else could. Anyone who tried were destroyed. At least I would be with my parents. Afraid, saddened, angry, and avengeful, I attacked. The choice I made then determined the rest. Equal in spiritual strength, stamina, and skill, our powers clashed as we fought high above the earth. Our powers created a storm of large intensity as it swirled in a circle around us. The wind sped up as homes were being demolished by Mach 1 twisters. I saw what we were doing. I told my brother to turn from the dark. That we could fix this together. He had other plans. Enraged, he tried to slay me saying I was the culprit of this. I defended by blocking his attacks as best as I could our powers clashing to the ground as thunder and lightning. Finally, I had enough.
"Brother! You have one final chance to turn from the path of the blind to the Path of the Righteous! Midnight. Please, it doesn't have to end this way!"
"Silence vermin," said my brother. "I will not turn from this might. For it has giving me sight that YOU are to extermined to bring everlasting peace!"
"σκιά κάτοικος, The peace you'll bring is with destruction. What was wrong with the peace we have had before. Why must it change? Don't you see brother? There is no need!"
"No φλεγόμενο σταυρό, there is one."
His power increased by a hundredfold in 10 seconds when he starts chanting to call every dark force known to aid. I knew I had to end this. "Ha Kesha Scaroth!” I launch the ball right at my brother who never saw it coming. The blast struck critical and he was consumed. The explosion of the impact destroyed the planet as the sun supernovaed. I saw the last light of the stars fade before their violent explosion, the Big Bang! I travelled unconscious through the vortex as the last survivor of Κόσμος των Στοιχειακά. The last of my people. The last of the Dragon Helms.
Eons passed. I was still floating through the time vortex when surprise-shock took me as I heard a loud grinding noise before a big black box appeared, spinning right towards me. Its two doors opened as I saw a pony staring right at me while we moved, allowing me to fly right in as the doors shut, giving me a feel of gravity as I suddenly fall onto the floor of the vessel.
The pony grabbed me and he spoke, “Who are you, Where are you from, How in Time and Space did you even survive floating in the Vortex?!?!?” I spoke no word to him still unconscious from the explosion not hearing what he said, nor aware of my surroundings.
The pony then began to shake you wildly like a lunatic. “Speak with me you dumb nut!!!”
As I am being rattled like a foal’s rattler, the only noise that comes out of me is the sound of someone being electrocuted. The pony shook me a bit faster as he threw me down hard and he grumbled as he grabbed a heart shocker. He made a light giggling noise rubbing them together as he ripped my shirt off and then placed them on my chest. I gasp as the electricity fire into my heart like rail gun dart and I shout, “I’m ok! I’m ok! Just a little tired.” I pass out after saying this. The pony, by the name of Lone, removed the shockers as he chuckled getting up. He trotted right over my body, not stepping on me, as he went over to his Console unit and got out his sonic screwdriver, aimed it at me and buzzed it. My body changed from homospiform into an equine.
I soon woke up, my head throbbing as it felt like I slammed myself with an I-beam. I opened my eyes gently, vision a bit blurred, as I looked around to see exactly where was I. The first thing I saw was Lone staring at me with sparks coming from the background. The smell of smoke was imminent all around. I looked back at him and said, “Are you starting a fire?”
The pony then slapped me as the pony growled. “Get your plot up you dumb Stallion! We happen to be crashing! Landing luckily in a place known as Equestria.”
I tried to get up off the floor and fell back down still weak from the endeavor in the vortex. The rest I can’t recollect. Did we land? Where was i? What year was it? How long was I floating in space? Many questions circled my mind. When I woke, you would never believe me for what I saw.
