Fleur put up with her day-to-day life as a Canterlot model; after all, it did have its advantages. She was adored by many ponies, including Princess Celestia. The princess definitely kept Fleur busy by call her over for special runways and projects for fashion design. She needed dresses and other attire for her little sister and Fleur was perfect height wise.
This morning was a typical morning by starting off taking a few shots of tequila and some scotch here and there. Fleur made her horn illuminate a light blue color to bring the next shot glass to her mouth. The glass had just touched her lips, but before she could turn the glass bottoms up, she got a knock on the door. Without hesitation, Fleur put the shot glass inside a cabinet and closed it up to hide the fact she was drinking. The bottle of tequila was already away because that would have been her last shot for the morning anyway.
Fleur had opened the door to a white stallion in golden, shimmering armor. Fleur wasn’t too pleased by the visitor who stood on her door step. In fact, she dreaded it. Fleur de Lis had to go to see Photo Finish and do a huge shoot that morning and could not waste any time on the princess. She had to make haste before anyone woke up. She would just fall all over the place if she didn’t leave now. She’d trip here and there but no one would know.
“Hello chief Thunder Shield,” Fleur began unenthusiastically, “What business does Princess Celestia now? I’m busy and need to get going so make it quick.”
The stallion only looked down on the unicorn for a short moment and asked, "Are you in any hurry, Fleur de Lis?"
"Yes, yes you moron!" the unicorn paused, "I must leave. If you don't mind getting to the point." Fleur held back all of her frustration because all she wanted was to leave. She needed to get away from everypony.
Finally the guard spoke, "The princess wants you at the castle immediately. Please come as soon as possible. Any time you are available please."
After the guard left, Fleur went to work as usual. Afterwards, she got home eight hours later full of exhaustion. She finally sat on the couch and did nothing. She just sat. She did not speak a word for a few minutes. She was suddenly filled with anxiety, almost like a panic attack forming. She began to sweat profusely and decided to calm her nerves and grab the bottle. She decided to take beer this time. It was an unusual choice but she was in the mood for one. No one ever caught her with her drinks. She would sink into the couch and throw back a few or more drinks. She was never mellow, though. She would always be falling over and maybe piss herself once or twice. It was very unbecoming of a pony of her status. But, it was her alright.
Fleur de Lis lived alone. She had recently gone through a divorce with Fancy Pants for about five years. it was finally over about three months ago. she lived in a shabby, rundown house on a shitty side of Canterlot. At least, that's what Fleur called it. she was always isolated with tequila or scotch. Her house was full of cobwebs and dust and was always unkempt, with the exception of the parts everyone could see. The only place that never seemed to gather dust was the liquor cabinet.
