Equus has risen up from the ashes of superstition and distrust, united in a singular purpose: to bring harmony to a wild universe. When the first ever United Equestrian Fleet launches to initiate First Contact with the closest habitable planet, Earth, they find themselves dragged headfirst into a war none had expected, with a species born straight from nightmare. Only together will either race, indeed either world, survive, as they hurtle together into a galaxy far more primal and deadly than anyone, or anypony, had ever dreamed.

All outside races are created by me, though for pony culture I am borrowing herd structure from Xenophilia, which is an AWESOME story, by the way. Any foals (CMC) from the show are aged up by the time of this story.
