A storm is brewing in the northern reaches of the world. Common ponies have begun to talk about the unfairness of life, and how much better off other countries are. When the leaders of the northern climes catch wind of this, they launch a massive assault on the Kingdom of South Griffonia, their neighbors. Celestia and Luna must decide whether or not to interfere with the affairs of other countries. Will they intervene and save the lives of countless Griffons? Or will they stand idly by, close their borders, and watch an entire nation crumble?

When the kindling of common talk is ignited by the spark of action, the flame of war spreads uncontrollably.

A/N: This story is completely unrelated to any of my other stories, but it might be the beginning of a new series. Also, my official pre-reader is Raven Melody. Said FimFic user is also now a collaborative author. They'll be writing almost all of the chapter after the next one. In effect, I write the Prologue and Chapter 1, they write Chapter 2. I don't know why I'm explaining this to you guys, but I am. You're welcome.

Side Note: The gore is very mild, and not really apparent until chapter 1.5, but I have to have it there as a warning anyway.
