I Demand the Right to Eat Apples!
Apples. Apples galore. That was all that Haos could see for miles. Sweet looking, perfected, red apples. It was like the thoughts of the flavor turned into saliva in his mouth. There were so many thoughts his mouth overflowed with saliva and he started to drool. The thought of eating one of these apples circled in his mind over and over again. It kept him from moving an inch. So he just kept staring at the beautiful apples.
Then he picked an apple and started to eat it.
It was the greatest apple he had ever eaten. The juice splattered when he bit into it, covering his mouth with the savory flavor of... Apples. When he took another bite, he was once again consumed my the flavor of the marvelous red fruit. He just kept biting into it, savoring the incredible flavor, one bite by one bite.
Soon he finished the apple. It was now nothing but a beautiful core. That was when Haos came up with an idea. He threw the apple up into the air and blasted it with his unicorn magic. It made it rain apple pieces everywhere. Haos tried his best to catch the apple bits into his mouth.
He was now tired of the over-detailing of this event, and rested his head on a tree. It was a hard, and for some odd reason warm, tree. But it would do to take a nap on. Haos slowly shut his eyes, preparing for the miraculous dreams that he would have.
Though he didn't have any dreams. He was just floating in a space of nothingness, waiting for something to happen. But nothing did. He tried to force a dream into his mind, and in came a cow. It mooed at Haos, and Haos mooed back. Then the cow exploded. Haos was dreadfully horrified by this terrible event that just took place before him. He tried again to make his own dreams, avoiding the thought of the spread out cow insides before him. But he didn't see anything, but he heard something. It had a cowpony accent. Haos did not want this voice here, he did not invite this voice here. What was it? That was when he realized that it was something from the outside world.
Though he didn't want to go to the outside world right now, he was dreaming. He looked over to the cows floating liver and "ew"ed. He was ready now.
His eyelids fluttered open to reveal Applejack looking at him with a frowny face.
"Now yer awake. What are you doin' here." Applejack said. She always had this thing about her precious produce. Whenever somepony would violate some of her apples, she would get to the bottom of it.
Haos just rolled hi eyes and said, "Oh come on Applejack, be honest. You know what I'm doing here.". Haos just smirked in his slouched position.
"What the... How do you know mah name?"
"Applejack stay on subject: We are trying to find the criminal who destroyed this apple." As Haos said this, he went behind a tree, and reappeared behind Applejack with a detectives uniform on.
Applejack looked at Haos with shock. She had seen this power before. "D-Discord?"
"No. Much better." Haos teleported up to a tree and hung from his hind legs in front of Applejack, causing her to step back. "My name is Haos, son o' Discord. I am not here to hurt you, or kill you, or turn your life into complete miserableness. I am here to hang out with the mares that stopped my father!"
"I gotta tell everypony else bout this."
"Thinking aloud are we? Oh, I have a song in my head that I've been dying to try out! May I sing it aloud?" Haos gave a large grin.
"Oh... uh..."
"MARVELOUS!!"
Eh, hem...
I'm not here to take your beer!
....
"And that's about it. Catchy right? Hey, where you goin?" Haos detached from the tree to find Applejack slowly walking away. "And stick to your element."
"Ah'm goin..." Applejack didn't know what to do. She didn't know if he was evil, and either way, Haos was right, she couldn't lie.
"It's ok to tell me, I'm a friend!" Haos teleported up to Applejack and put one of his front legs around her.
"Ah was just goin to tell mah friends about ya." Applejack smiled sheepishly.
"Oh! Ok then! I'll race you to Twilights!" Haos got off Applejacks shoulder and began to depart.
"Wait." Haos froze in place. "Did you explode this apple?"
Haos turned around and met eye contact with Applejack. "Umm... No. I ate it, then I exploded it!"
"Gosh dang varmit! Say your sorry!" Applejack began to sprint towards Haos.
"To an apple? Eep!" Haos just barely realized the situation and teleported up into a tree. "I demand the right to eat apples!" Haos lifted a hoof in the air as he said this.
"Get down from their and say your sorry!" Applejack approached the tree and turned around. "Ah'm warnin ya."
"Who do I say sorry to? That apple? It is not an animate object! It's an apple! It's like saying sorry to a lamp because you broke it! It's dumb! Gaaa!" Applejack was now bucking the tree. "Eep! Quit it! I'm going to fall!"
"That's the point Haos!"
"I'm out!" With that being said, he quickly teleported away.
"Grrr!" Applejack said in frustration. She then layed down next to an apple bit and a tear dropped through her eye. "Ah'm sorry you had to go like this. Ah swear, ah will make him say sorry. Even if it is the last thing ah do."
I Demand the Right to Read Books!
It had been forever since Twilight had slept in. But today she could. She did everything yesterday. She made her checklists yesterday, she reshelved yesterday, she did everything yesterday. So today, she could sleep in. But something woke her up. That something told her to get out of bed, and she did.
Oddly she did not feel tired. Tiredness was nothingness right now. She did not know why she didn't feel groggy, she just didn't.
She walked down the stairs to the library, waved hi to the white stallion that was reading a book, and he said hi back. Apparently she was not as awake as she thought. But now her nose was focused on the random smell of pancakes that just appeared.
That was when she realized that there was a stallion in her library. She turned around and looked at him. He was reading "The Elements of Harmony: A Reference Guide". Twilight walked up to him and said, "What are you doing in my house?".
"Reading a book." The stallion replied, not shifting his attention to Twilight.
"Yes, but what specific reason do you have for being present in my house?"
"Ok, Twilight." The stallion put the book down and looked at Twilight. "This may be your house, but it is also a library. I guess it looks like you don't get very many customers often. One reason for that might be that the kitchen is right next to this library. But otherwise, this is a library."
"We're closed."
"Wha..." The stallion put a hoof to his chest, acting offended. "That's just rude! Taking my right read books here! I demand the right to read books!"
"No, it's not like that! It's just that it's really early in the morning!"
"It's one-o'-clock."
"Really? Wow, I really slept in. Well, sorry, get back to reading."
"Oh, Twilight, may I ask you something?"
"Oh, um... Sure."
"Why aren't you surprised that I know your name?"
"You know my name?"
"Yes I said it twice already? Alright I'm just going to tell you everything about me. My name is Haos, son o' Discord. I have come to hang out the mares that locked my father in stone!"
"Eeep!" Twilight stepped back towards a bookcase. "Y-y-your D-Discords son?"
"Don't be scared silly. I'm only here to have fun, not make other ponies lives completely miserable."
"By completely, do you mean-"
"Just a little miserable, yes."
Haos got up from from where he was laying and walked up to Twilight. When he was close enough he whispered in her ear. "Your kind of cute to me. I'll use that."
Those words made Twilight blush. But she began to have questions form in her mind that drove her away from thoughts of Haos.
"Wait, how did Discord have you?"
"Well, it all started when a papa Discord and a mare love each other very much and-"
"Ok, I get the point. So your here to make friends?"
"Yup. And pranks. I already got one thought up. It will be grand!"
"So is that it?"
"Yup. I'm going to Rarity's. Bye!"
"Wait! I still-" *POOF!* "-have questions..."
Spike popped out the kitchen door and said, "What was that Twilight?".
"Discords son."
Twilight moved her attention to the kitchen doorway, all around the library, and then to Spike, "How are we still paying bills again?".
