On the dying world of Famēs Maximus on the very doorstep of Terra, a world consuming portal has appeared. On the other end of the portal is the mythical land of Equestria, whose gods now demand the lives of every living thing on the fledgling world. The Imperium will discover, much to its own chagrin, that it cannot simply put this threat down with a virus bombing or a legion of Ultramarines as it would usually do.
