Harry and Owen had ventured into one of the remaining forests that was nearby, both thinking he had to be here. They brought fresh food, some clean water and a jumper, just in case.

They entered at dawn, so they had a full day to look for their lost friend. They called out his name, hoping he was within earshot.

Sadly, he wasn't.

Charlie had stopped trying after three days of surviving. He knew he was going to die from dehydration sooner or later.

This all happened because he got angry, that small slap had ended up ruining his life.

He closed his eyes, ready for whatever was next.

What came next was not what Charlie expected.

There they stood, looking over his cold, lifeless body.

They hoped it wasn't real, that it couldn't be happening.

Un-fortunately, it was. And it devastated them. Owen crouched down by the body, as did Harry, and saw what seemed to be a jewel on his chest.

Harry saw it too, and picked it up. He looked it over, before passing it to his companion. It left a blue imprint on his skin, and didn't come off when he tried to clean it.

Owen put the gem into his pocket, to give to Charlie's family later.

"What now?" Harry croaked, his voice was leaving him from the shouting earlier. No reply came, but they both started lifting the carcass off the ground, and into town.

Charlie was confused.

He was in a green meadow, with bright grass and flowers and a single tree.

He stumbled over to the lonely sapling, and collapsed in the shade. It was peaceful, and calmed his nerves.

The teen had no idea what had happened to him, one minute he was dying from dehydration and now he was in a beauty grassy plain.

Looking up, Charlie spotted a book stuck in the branches.

This only served to confuse him more, who in the right mind would leave a book in a tree?

None the less, he got up to tried to reach it, only to realise that the branch stood well over a metre above his head.

Wishing for a stick or something to push it with, he sat back down, right onto something brown and sticky.

It was a stick! That wasn't there before... He thought to himself, as he grabbed it and started pushing the book off the branch holding it.

And, like an apple, fell from the tree right onto his head.

And so gravity was discovered Charlie hummed as he opened the strange novel.

Looks like you found yourself in a strange meadow, right? Well, no worries! You are in a world where you can create anything you want! You could create your own civilization to rule over, or you could think of the nicest things in life, and stay in the happiest place in the universe!

But, be warned! If you feel life making a sapient creature, it will have a mind of its own.

Love,

Yourself.

Charlie had no emotion on his face, he closed the book, and dropped it at his feet.

Thinking of all the things he could do, his mind wandered to a picture he found on the web, where a horse like creature was drawing pictures of smaller versions of itself.

I have the role of a god.

I can do anything!

But, lets have some company...

And, just like that, the first species was brought to this new planet.

It was small, about ankle height if it stood on all fours, it had a white coat, and red mane. A horn on its head and wings on either side on its small, fragile body.

"You shall be called... Faust."

The moon was high in the sky, illuminating the sky with its soft glow, the stars simmered and sparkled like they were all communicating to each other.

Down on Earth, two teenagers tossed and turned in their beds. Their minds seeing only dead eyes and lifeless bodies.

Sleep was not coming soon to these two.

Owen clawed at his covers and climbed out of his bed, his bare feet hit the cold floor as he shivered.

The journey over to the bathroom felt like it took forever, the images continued to race through his head.

He reached the sink, and splashed his face with the freezing cold water. He looked up at the mirror, seeing a teenager with large bags under his eyes and messed up hair looking back.

He sighed, before twirling around and heading back to his bed. But, unknown to him, there was a discarded can on the floor waiting for a victim.

It waited no longer as Owen's foot crashed onto the drink, making him slip right onto the edge of his bed.

He went to sleep for the last time.

Harry's hands were grasping the pillow on top of his head, his knuckles pure white. He fared no better then Owen, but stayed in his bed.

He continued to cry into his fluffy friend, it being stained with his tears.

In the corner of his room was a dark cloaked figure, watching the teen with sympathy in its eyes. None the less, it had a job to do.

It crawled over to the edge of his bed, lifting it's arms up...

More sobs...

The dark, shadowy hands pushed down onto the pillow, blocking Harry's mouth and nose from oxygen. He struggled and kicked as his arms shot up and tried getting rid of the disturbance.

His movements slowed, before ending up stopping completely.

Owen could not feel any of his limbs, the only thing he could move was his head and eyes.

Wherever he was, it was warm and soft.

He heard a groan, and quickly twisted his heard to the sound. When he opened his, the sunlight flooded his eyes, blinding him for several seconds.

He was lying in a field, with another person next to him.

It was Harry, lying face down on the ground.

What the hell?

His arms and legs finally gained enough power to move. Owen poked the breathing body before quickly getting onto his feet.

His eyes scanned the plain for any life or civilization, getting more and more worried as he saw nothing.

Harry groaned again, as his eyes groggily opened.

"... What's in my mouth?" He hummed as he lifted his body off the grass. He spat out some dirt before looking around.

The two males eyes met each other before both of their faces gained a worried look.

"Where are we?" asked Harry his voice overflowing with worry.

"I have no idea..."

Charlie carried the small horse like creature in his arms, he had no idea why he made this animal, but he liked it.

Not it, her.

A smile crept unto his face as he watched the small filly look up at him. Her blue eyes glistening with wonder and curiosity, as her little hooves reached up for his face.

Tears formed in her eyes when she couldn't reach, and soon after, she started crying.

"No, no don't cry, I'm here, I'm right here" Charlie said softly, as he brought his head closer to hers.

Faust's tiny forearms rested on his nose, a cute giggle escaping her lips, and a quiet laugh from the teenager's.

Strange, he thought here I am, holding a tiny pony acting like it's father, when a few hours ago I was stuck in a forest.

It was starting to get dark, and the two had no shelter from the darkness approaching.

I could just create one for us...

And, just like that, a small cottage appeared.

Still scared, Owen and Harry wondered the plains, looking for any any sign of shelter or life.

Having found nothing, they walked back to the tree, and rested their heads on the bark.

"What are we going to do?" asked Owen as he looked at the horizon. No reply came from his companion, and when he looked to see if he was alright, he was standing up and staring at something in the distance.

"What? What do you see?"

"I see light!" Harry exclaimed, his voice filled with joy.

Owen's eyes shot open, as he scanned the location his friend was looking at, he too saw light. The two looked at each over, large smiles on both of their faces.

With a nod, they both started running towards the source.

Faust was sleeping in her own crib, while Charlie was looking at a window. Sighing, he turned around and walked other to the her. Leaning down and kissing her on the forehead, her tiny horn lightly poking him.

A small smile formed on her face, and her little wings fluttered. Charlie's heart melted there and then, he stayed there for a while, before twisting on his heels over to his bed.

He got comfy, pulling his covers over his body and turning off the light with a clap.

His eyes started to close, as the dream world accepted him in to their ga-

Several loud knocks filled Charlie's and Faust's ears as both of them became wide awake.

Faust started crying, as her little wings buzzed with fear. Charlie ran over to her crib, and picked her up, comforting her.

The door was knocked again.

I get it! Jeez

He groggily walked over to the door and heard two familiar voices.

"I hear a baby crying, I don't think this is a good idea..."

"Shut up, we'll freeze out there!"

Is that Harry and Owen?!

His hand shot out to the door handle before opening it slowly, Faust still being cradled in his other hand.

The two other humans went quiet as the door opened, wondering who was inside.

The baby was still crying when it fully revealed the occupants of the house.

It was a strange tiny pony, and... and Charlie?!

"This got awkward"
