I honestly don't usually cry, but for the past weeks I did so very little in my solutuide. Today, Rainbow Dash decided to go to Pinkie's party for Derpy Hooves' birthday inviting everyone but me. I came anyone, because Pinkie always says hows she's everyone's friend. When I showed up, Midnight saw me and said how she "forgot about me and to forgive her and Rainbow." I raised my eyebrow and flapped my wings. "Liar! All you do is lie to me now! What happened to your honesty?! And Rainbow, your loyalty?! Where is it now?!" I shouted in their faces angerily. Everyone store at me in silence. I groaned and flew to Midnight, making her stagger back, then flew out, pondering in a tree. "I know Midnight's secret, and nopony else does!" I chuckled, and flew back inside the party, smiling evilly. I blinked, trying to push what just happened in the back of my head, but it didn't work. I tried to enjoy Derpy's birthday as Pinkie came out with the cake. I smiled at Rainbow, then my eyes widened. Silver Blitz broke through the door and took a deep breath. "You see this mare here?!" she shouted, pointing at me. My pupils became small and my ears flopped back. Rainbow glanced at me, then Silver again. "She's a monster! A werepony!" she screamed, and ponies stared at me. "Yeah, so?!" I screamed, my face hot as I flew up to her level. I saw Rainbow look at me, her magenta eyes gleaming with confusion. "Why such a bad temper?" I sneered, placing a silver hoof under my cousin's chin. "Be careful, I wouldn't want you to turn." "Are your parents dead?!" she shrieked at me. I saw the tenseness in her eyes and body of how she was trying to calm down and not turn into the werepony she is. "No, but it feels like my cousins and friends are!" I yelled back, hot tears streaming down my face. "Stop!" I shrieked, shoving my cyan hooves in front of the two mares. "Silver, what's your problem?! Quit it!" I demanded. "No, I won't, and nothing will stop me!" she yelled back, punching Midnight in the face. I leapt at her, wiping the blood off my muzzle, and we tumbled out the door, punching and fighting in a tumbling ball. I blinded her with my wing, then caused her to slap me with her hoof. I gazed in horror as my two best friends fought it out. "No! Stop!" I shrieked, pulling Silver Blitz back as I saw the Trolling Mare wrestle Midnight Dash to the ground. "I don't know what has gotten into you two, but I don't want you two to get hurt. Stop fighting!" "I'll never stop." Silver Blitz snarled, breaking free of my grip. "Not until she stops the secrets and returns what's mine!" Silver sneered in my face, leaving me startled as she angerly stalked away. I looked into Midnight's icy blue eyes, and widened mine when she growled at me, her eyes flicking a yellow. "You don't understand..." she muttered. I brushed myself off and saw Rainbow flick her tail then fly off. "TM?" I whispered, tears coming to my eyes. "You really are a monster..." she replied softly, and trotted away. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Sorrows //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Sorrows Rain began to fall, causing my mane to droop, "I'm unwanted now..." Tears streamed down my face along with rain. I then felt a cool breeze surround me and saw golden eyes, a light blue mare body that was almost transparent, and a golden white mane. The mare was only a spirit, but my mother, Golden Sky. She wrapped her cold, ghostly wing around me. "I see your'e in some distress, but father is here also-Gleaming Night!" she called, her sweet voice hushing in my ear. My father appeared, her sparkly black coat, green eyes, and all. "Look if you dare see the future..." he said, pointing to a puddle. I looked in it, and an image of princess Luna putting a shield thing over me, and Harmony, Silver, my 5 close friends, and Rainbow were there. I turned to look at my parents, but they were already gone. I blinked my eyes, letting the tears fall, then had an idea. "They think they can stop me? Heh...fat chance!" My eyes twitched as I grinned small. "I'll take away what's most important to Midnight- her friends!" I laughed, flying out. "I have to forgive them and tell Harmony..." I thought as lightning lit the sky. BAM! I bumped into Silver. "What do you want?" I sneered. "I know you stole my element..." she hissed, pinning me to the ground. "And now you're going to pay." "What?" I gasped, then saw her silver hoof aimed for my head. Pain jolted up the left side of my head, along with a fracture in my left wing. I slapped her face with my right wing and snickered as I kicked her in the stomach, "I didn't steal you're element." I huffed as I regained my balance. "Yes you did!" she insisted, pulling my ears back. "You asked for it..." I muttered. I slammed my cousin's face against the ground. She whistled suddenly. I twitched my ears, confused. "What was that supposed to do?" I chuckled, bending her hind leg back, a smirk reappearing on my face. Slam! My head burned with pain. "Hey..." I muttered, the spotted a dark pale green stallion pegusas kick my stomach hard, knocking me out. "Nice job, Darkened Wind!" My cousin's voice echoed. I sat up, and saw Silver Blitz passed out as soon as I flew there. "She attacked me again!" Midnight said, tears and blood streaming down her face. I saluted to Dark Wind, then turned back to Midnight's place, but she was gone. "Hey! Midnight!" I called, flying after her. "No! I'm a monster...that's all I am...." I cried, trembling from the cold and sadness. "Midnight, no you're not..." whispered Rainbow, wrapping her wings around me. "Yes...I am..." I shoved her wings aside, and buried my face in my hooves. "No you're not..." Rainbow replied more sternly. "Yes I am! Look at me, Rainbow Dash! I'm not who you think I am...I'm..not" I screamed back, looking at the rain fall slowly. I looked in a puddle and pointed at my reflection. "Do you see the yellow eye color?! I AM a monster, OK?!" I screeched, then ran away. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Prologue I watched her grown into a young mare, a watched my cousin teach her everything. She became the replacement of me and became the element of belief, replacing loyalty. But soon enough, I will do anything to get back attention, even kill my cousin, element of belief, Midnight Dash, and replace her once more. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: I'm A Monster... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: I'm A Monster... My hooves flew across the mud as I ran, tears stinging in my eyes. My life was so horrible along with my past: my cousin hated me, my parents are dead along with the practically rest of my family, and being brave and believing is myself has gotten harder... I couldn't face anyone. What would they say or do? I laid alone, in a tree, thinking and thinking, for maybe hours or minutes which felt like them, but then I realized of how my friends and cousins were only trying to help...I face-hoofed and felt even more bad for myself, burying myself in self pity. I felt a hoof tap me on my shoulder, causing me to panick and open my wings. I expected it to be Silver, or Rainbow, but it was Darkened Wind. I calmed down, and wiped the tears and rain off my face. "Um..hi?" he said to me, staring at me with his aqua blue eyes. I shifted awkwardly and asked, "What do you want?" "It appears something's bothering you...care to tell?" "..." "Well? Is it something in the family? Is life harder? Is it your crazed cousin? I'm only trying to help so-" "NO! IT'S ALL OF THOSE BUCKING THINGS, OK! YOU HAPPY NOW?!" I screamed, annoyed to confess in detail what was going on. We both remained silent for a little while. He glared at me, flicked his eyes, and flew off. I remained silent, alone now, thinking about all the mistakes I've made. "Too many." I muttered, my heart feeling black, dark, and souless. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Unwanted //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Unwanted The rain pelted my fur as I thought about just running away. Now scientists wanna experiment on me and all that stuff. Bloopers: Maybe to just push how much ponies love me and for them to forgive me.... I groaned, gazing at the lightning. "Or..." I whispered, flying up. I smirked and said aloud, "Oh, no, I might fly into this cloud, ah!" I saw Silver Blitz and my smile fell. She flew in front of me, my gaze horrified with fear. "Go ahead, go in!" she growled, shoving me towards the lightning. "Why don't YOU try?!" I replied, shoving her towards the electric bolt of light. She managed to steer clear and came back, shoving me off the cloud I was on, which was unfortunatley too high. I watched my cousin fall slowly, nopony there to save her. I could tell her wings were frozen with fear. I smirked as she fell hopelessly. But then my head flooded full of memories of me and her, and I snapped out of my trance of greed and jealousy. I flew down, and picked her up on my back, and landed. My eyes were widened. "S-silver?" I muttered, my body stunned. My cousin shook her head up and down. My heart stopped. "W-why? I thought ya hated me..." I said softly, brushing myself off. "I did, but then I realized how much fun we used to have." she replied, then crouched on the ground, yelping in pain. I cocked my head in confusion, then saw her eyes look up at mine, begging for mercy. My gaze fell over the sky. It was now nightfall. Werepony was the only word that came to mind. But is Silver one also? The question danced in my mind. I ignored my senses and carried her as fast as I could to the Everfree Forest.
