The battle of dark versus light is a tale as old as time itself. Now an ancient foe has been released and threatens to consume all things and destroy Equestria. Always the savior, now Twilight is responsible for releasing the incarnation of darkness itself. Caught between the light and dark, she struggles to find the truth buried beneath lies and secrets. As she journeys to recover the only means to restore balance to magic, she is left alone and abandoned even with her friends alongside. This shall be her greatest challenge yet.
