They all told me my dreams would never come true. They all said my wings were to small, to flimsy. I have lost my two best friends because of this dream, because I never gave up. I persisted on flying, Not thinking of other ponies in the process of making my dream real. This is were I stand, no friends, rainbowdash wont even look in my direction, and im an orphan.
My name is scootaloo, but ponies used to call me scoot. Im sixteen, and a lot has changed sense I was a filly. Im no longer a cutiemark crusader, I don’t even talk to sweetie belle, or apple bloom anymore, We are not friends anymore, and its all my fault. I have never been the pony to let my dream down, rainbowdash thought me that. But when you take making a dream to far you loose what was once your well known life.
It was winter wrap up, and I was no wear to be seen, I was trying to fly. At the top of sweet apple acres, On the other side of that hill is a drop off, at the bottom of that hill were ponies hard at work. Clearing the ground of thick white snow that has piled up over winter. I stood there looking down at all those hard at work ponies, waiting for the right time. Thats when i saw rainbowdash land next to applejack and i knew this was the time!
I stared at the long drop to already cleared ground. There was no soft landing. I spread my hooves in my flying stance, and bent down with my two front hooves spread. I yelled out “Rainbowdash!!” she looked up and started flying towards me at sonic speed. I wandered what she was doing, thats when i heard a big crack behind me. My yelling made a peace of ice to brake, which in turn started an avalanche. Rainbowdash swooped me up and placed me down on the ground. “You silly filly! look what you did!” she yelled. I slowly turned my head and saw the snow quickly cover up every pony, and tree in its path.
Before I knew it rainbowdash had taken off towards the ground. We searched for ten hours and finally found applejack. The blow from the snow, plus no oxygen had killed her almost immediately. Applebloom started to cry when she saw her sisters face, and she ran past me to big mac. “How could you do this scoot! dont ever talk to me again!” applebloom stomped on the ground. “Now leave!” big mac stood up and pointed to my house. By the next day news had spread far and wide, my family was out casted. They had no choice, one night when i was sound asleep they left. Leaving nothing but paper work stating that they disowned me.
I held the note tight, and threw it on the floor. I ran upstairs to grab my piggy bank, and packet all of my close, I couldn’t stay here. But before i left I stopped by rainbowdashe’s place to say good bye. As i knocked on her door two ponies,and a dragon, walked out, twilight, spike, and rainbowdash. “what the hell do you want filly?” spike proclaimed. I scratched the back of my head, “I wanted to tell rainbowdash good bye.” I sniffled. “haha get the buck out of here, your not wanted.” spike crossed his arms. “ spike shut the hell up, god im sorry scoot, were are you going.” rainbowdash said. I looked at spike and twilight, and spoke “I.. i dont know.” i began to cry, and rainbowdash embraced me. “Look i know what you did was bad but... you dont have to skip town.” at that moment the mail pony flew up. “ here you go miss dash.” he handed a letter to rainbowdash.
She tore into to envelope, her eyes widened, and quickly shot up at me. “Get the buck out of here scoot!” she threw the paper at me, I just stared at it, and decided to read it. “dear miss dash,
we would like to inform you that miss rarity is dead. We have found her body in a small cave near the avalanche.” I heard spike crying the most, and then the door slammed open, “You stupid bucking filly! God you bucking screwed up this time! No wander your parents disowned you!” spike yelled at me. He was pulled back in by a magical spell twilight made, and the door quickly slammed behind him. I began to cry, and ran toward the train station. I was going to manehattan, i could easily fined a job there. I was never so wrong.
