Rainbow Dash could feel her wings shooting upp from her sides as she watched the purple dot in the massive crowd that had assembled in ponyville townhall, waiting for their princesses to appear."When did Twilight become so beautifull?" Rainbow mentally asked herself as she slowly descended towards the purple unicorn that she desperately wanted to call her own. Rainbow landed beside Twilight and colud feel her heart skip a beat as the unicorn turned towards her and their eyes met.
"Hi Twi any predictions on who's gonna attack this time around?" Rainbow joked mockingly to desperately hide the desire in her voice.

Twilight rolled her eyes at the joke from her friend as if she had heard it a million times."Haha very funny Rainbow, and as a matter of fact no as far as I know no one is planning an attack this year." Twlight remarked rather sourly and shot her friend a friendly glare.

"Hay Twi you can't blame me for always being ready for action." She stated with her usuall bravado and winking att har secret crush.

"Okay Rainbow you got me there."Twilight said as she let a soft giggle escape her lips and gave her friend an honest smile.

"Man if she were to use that smile as a weapon I would let her kill me on the spot just to let it be my last sight. Come on Dash just tell her how you feel before you actually die from staring at that smile for to long."Rainbow thought as she swallowed the lump in her throat and asked."What nice weather we're having today don't you think?" Afterwards the ponies that had gathered in the town hall all swore they could have a smacking sound as Rainbow menally facehoofed herself for chickening out.

"Yes it has to be the best we've had for weeks now. "Twilight replied while looking out the window just to see that it had began to rain outside. "Um Rainbow you might want to take a look outside it seems to be raining."

When Twilight had finished Rainbow looked att her in confusion the turned to look out the window to see that it had indeed began to rain. "What the hay we're not supposed to have rain today the next rain is scheduled for next week." She almost screamed as she was obviously surprised as to why it was raining on the one day of the year when it was not supposed to.

"Excuse me Twi but I really have to check this out right now, will you save my spot for me while I'm checking it out?"

"Of course I will Dash just hurry back so you dont miss when the princesses arrives." The unicorn answered. What she didn't notice was when the Rainbow maned pegaus shot out of the townhall she was wearing the goofiest grin anypony had ever seen the pegasus wear before.

Once Rainbow got outside she imediately noticed to her great surprise that there wasn't a single cloud in the sky just like the schedule had said. Looking aorund and still coldn't find any clouds she began to fly towards the window were Twilight first had noticed the rain. A she rounded the building sha began to hear laughing, when she got to the window she noticed that the cutie mark crusaders together with Pinkie Pie was having a blast jumping around like crazy under a dark cloud that had some sort of machine strapped onto the top of it with a text on it that read property of Pinkamena Diane Pie.

"Pinkie what in all of Equestria are you four doing?" The pegasus asked trying to figure what was going on.

"Oh we're just having some fun Dash you know how I love to have fun, or you would know unless you weren't you and that would mean that you wouldn't be you, you would be a changeling." The cotton candy maned pony gasped when she finished her sentence narrowing her eyes in a suspicios glare att her now suspicious friend. "Rainbow Dash if that is you're real name can you look me in the eye and tell me you're not a changeling." This time it was the cmcs turn to gasp as they glared att the acused pegaus.

Rainbow letting out a huge sigh when looking Pinkie straight in the eye. "No pinkie I'm not a changeling I was just asking why you guys are out here playing with a storm cloud when you shuold be inside and celebrating the sumer sun celebration, celebrate is in the name of the event afterall. And while I'm at it what the hay is that thing on top of the cloud?" She asked pointing a hoof towards the strange machine ontop of the cloud.

"Oooooooh okay i get it now but I will keep an eye on you "Rainbow". As for the machine it's the PPRM 3000 that stands for the Pinkie Pie RainoMatronic 3000. I made it so that we could have a rain fight without having to bother a pegasus about it." The Pink earth pony stated bearing a smile that should be cracking her jaw while sticking out her chest proudly obviously being rather satisfied with her explanation.

Rainbow still none the wiser as to how Pinkie got the cloud or how she managed to make the PPRM 3000 stay on the cloud she just decided to shrug it of as Pinkie being Pinkie, mostly because she didn't want to be away from Twilight for too long "Okaaaay but you guys should put away that cloud for now we don't want the princesses to think I did a bad jobb keeping the weather under controll, do we?"

"Of course we don't silly willy!"

"Good then I will just buck this cloud real quick then you guys catch the machine and the we can go back inside and watch the sunrise does that sound good?" Recieving four nods she quickly bucked the cloud and let the other four catch the machine and put it by the wall for Pinkie to pick up later. "Great I'll se you guys later I've got to get back inside." And with that the Rainbow maned pegasus dashed away to get back inside.

Once there she flew up a bit to scan the area to see if she could find the pruple dot again. Lucky for her it was surprisingly easy to find the right purple dot, in the sea of multiple colours. Slowly hovering down too the unicorn she soon noticed that the spot right next to her was still unocupied, feeling her heart swell with desire at the small kind gesture, she told herself. "Before the end of this day, I will tell Twilight how I truly feel about her!" With detreminitaion she landed beside Twilight and gave her a little nudge and big smile as to tell her that she had solved the problem.

"So what happened, did you accidently miss a cloud while you cleared the sky yesterday?"

"Nope nothing like that, you know that I would never leave ponyville hanging like that, I believe I told you that the first time we met?" Shooting her friend a wink when she had finished.

Twilight being a little taken aback that Rainbow actually remembered that. "I know that Rainbow, you would never leave anypony that you thought needed you're help. But where did that Rain come from then?" She asked still none the wiser as to why it had rained.

Rainbow almost blushed at the compliment and had to put all of her will power to stop it from showing. "Oh that it turned out it was just Pinkie playing with the crusaders."

"Do I even wanna know how she got it to rain?"

"Nope just see it as Pinkie being Pinkie."

Twilight realised that if somepony said that it was just Pinkie being Pinkie it was best not to question it any further. As silence brooke out in the entire townhall they all realised that the event was about to begin, looking formard Twilight noticed that behind the balcony where the princesses would land the wall began to move to give everypony a great wiew over the soon rising sun. Suddenly feeling something brush up beside her she looked just to her side to find that Rainbow had scooted closer to her. "Hehe sorry about this but it's pretty crouded in here!" Rainbow stated, Twilight didn't question it and merely returning to looking as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna approached their landing spot all the while the sun was rising just behind them.

If anypony would have asked Rainbow what she thought about the rising of the sun that day she wouldn't have been able to answer the question. Because while everypone else was busy watching the princesses and the sun Rainbow was busy adoring the purple unicorn that she could swear was even more beatifull then she had ever been before.

Okay so this my very first Fanfic ever and I know that it probably has alot of wrongs in it but I hope that you my fellow bronies and pegasisters will look past that for now and enjoy it nonetheless.
