Twilight In Darkness

It was a year since Blade captured the castle and commandeered the town. He was leading the towns people like a tyrant he forced everyone to listen to him even his friends the only person he didn't treat badly was Twilight. He had set strict laws making the people have little power. Twilight wasn't happy with him she wanted to go back to Ponyville or Canterlot.

"Blade can we please leave I don't like it here?"

"No Twilight I am the ruler of this town we are not leaving."

"Fine." She walked out of the room and bumped into Lowell. He pulled out a letter and showed it to her.

"Read this while i go speak with Blade."

She looked at the letter and read it.

Dear Lowell

We would like to inform you that the agency thinks you should get a promotion. Please inform Twilight that she is the new leader of Canterlot. For your new position to take affect you need to arrest Blade he is a horrible leader and needs to be imprisoned. After you do this you will get a raise and the title of secret agent.

-The Agency

She watched Lowell walk over to Blade he looked very scared.

"Blade I need you to come with me." said Lowell as he was shaking.

"Why Lowell?"

"You are going to prison." He said still shaking very badly.

Blade stood up and stepped down from the throne Lowell jumped back afraid Blade was going to hit him. He got right next to Lowell and pulled out his weapon Lowell was about to cry then Blade dropped his sword on the ground. Twilight walked over to Lowell and Blade.

"Twilight are you ready to go back to Canterlot?" asked Lowell still feeling scared.

"Yes I am and Blade i'm so sorry."

"Yeah Blade prison is going to suck hope you know that."

"Wait what's going to happen to everyone else?"

"They are going to meet us at the castle Twilight."

Blade teleported them to Canterlot where the new castle was someone must have rebuilt it. It was a lot bigger and nicer than before. They all walked into the throne room of the castle Twilight walked up to the throne and inspected it.

"Twilight your the Princess now you rule over Canterlot sit down."

She sat down in the throne and a aura of magic swirled around her as she transformed into an alicorn. Blade sat there looking at her he was going to miss her so much. When she was done transforming she walked over to Blade.

"Are you ready to get locked up?"

He nodded his head and Twilight led him down to the dungeon with Lowell behind them. They got into the dungeon Blade walked in and Lowell put cuffs on all four of his hooves. Blade tried to break the cuffs and escape but he didn't have the energy to do it. Twilight walked over to him she gave him a big kiss then Lowell and her walked out of the dungeon. "Goodbye Blade" Twilight was in tears as she said it. Her and Lowell went back to the throne room she slowly walked to the throne. She may not have liked how Blade had ruled but she didn't want to be a leader. She sat down and got ready for her long life alone. She sat there not saying anything all she did was think about how boring her life is going to be.

"Lowell did we really need to lock him up?"

"Probably not but he's evil we can't have him just roam around the town."

"Lowell this is like killing him he is all alone with nothing he might as well be dead at this point."

"Twilight don't say that wouldn't you rather have him alive?"

"Of course but what's the point if i can't be with him i'm sure he would rather be dead."

"Twilight do you really think he wants to die?"

"Yes he's supposed to be imprisoned for life i'm sure he would rather be dead."

"Twilight why don't you go ask him."

Twilight walked back down to the dungeon alone she opened the door at the bottom. Except when she looked inside there was blood all over the cuffs and Blade wasn't there. She looked around the room until she noticed an engraving on the wall. It said Twilight i'll always love you goodbye. She walked back upstairs to see Lowell right in front of her.

"Did you kill him?"

"No he was gone."

"Should we go after him he's wanted by every guard everywhere?"

"No let him be if he escaped he is leaving" she was trying to hold back her tears.

"Alright Twilight where do you think he went?"

"Hopefully somewhere safe."

She used a tracking spell to see where he was he was still on the grounds of the castle he was going to get caught and executed for sure. After Blade killed Celestia the guards got more intense training and better armor and weapons including crossbows.

"Lowell he's outside we need to protect him the guards will shoot on sight."

"No Twilight we shouldn't interfere we could get in trouble for that."

"I don't care Lowell we can't let him die."

They sprinted outside to see Blade outside by the castle wall there were at least thirty guards aiming at him.

"Drop your weapon shouted out the guards."

He lifted his weapon ready to throw it against the ground then Twilight ran over and the guards aimed at her and shot Blade jumped into her and pushed her away as he got shot with 30 arrows he collapsed onto the ground muttering one thing.

"Twi-Twilight I love you."

She walked over to his body and started ripping arrows out of him. After all the arrows were out she healed his wounds but he was still not breathing he was actually dead. She cried at his side as Lowell walked over.

"Twilight he's not dead trust me."

"How can you think that he got shot thirty times?"

"He is the essence of darkness i'm sure he can handle getting shot."

"Not thirty times no one can survive that."

"Twilight just you watch after a few minutes he will get up plus you healed him he's fine i'm telling you."

"No he's not Lowell look at all the blood he is definitely dead and if he's not dead the only mare that can heal him fully is Fluttershy."

"Twilight watch he is going to get up" Lowell hit Blade multiple times.

"Stop hitting him he's dead let him rest in peace."

"Fine"

Twilight sat next to Blades body she lifted it and brought him to Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy is he dead?"

"Why i just don't know Twilight."

"Can you do anything to find out?"

"I can do some tests but I think he's dead."

Fluttershy tested Blade to see if he was still alive she checked his breathing his pulse she tried everything but he was gone.

"I'm so sorry Twilight but he's dead."

She took his body and brought it to the castle she laid it in a coffin and left it there. Then she went to her bed and laid down trying to think about what happened she thought her life was bad when Blade got crushed by a building. Now she was really sad because this time he actually died she was truly living in darkness.
