Twilight In Darkness

It was early in the morning Twilight and Blade had just got up. They were looking right into each others eyes. Twilight smiled and moved forward and kissed him then she hugged him she was extremely happy he was back. Then they both heard a loud noise that echoed through the town they walked to the window together and looked outside. There was a fierce storm going on the lightning lit up the world like fire. The rain was so hard it was like lead and the winds were so powerful Rainbow Dash had trouble trying to clear the clouds.

"I'm surprised we didn't figure out it was a storm right away." Said Twilight still latched onto Blade.

"This storm must be because the weather team was to busy training for the airshow they must have passed out after the training." Blade said as he watched Rainbow Dash attempt to clear the clouds.

Twilight looked at him a little angry that he was staring at Rainbow Dash but she knew he didn't like her. They watched her smash the clouds as more rolled in she was dodging the lightning excellently weaving in and out until it struck her she was slowly dropping to the earth. Blade ran outside and sprinted trying to get to her before she hit the ground. He barely caught her in time any later and all her bones would have shattered as she hit the ground. He carried her inside the house Twilight looking extremely pissed at Blade.

"I'm sorry Twilight i couldn't let her die."

"Yes you could have she is in love with you now she will be all over you Blade."

"Twilight i'm the town guard it is my job to save people i'm sorry but i couldn't sit there and watch her die."

She sighed "I guess your right it wouldn't be like you to let her die."

"Thank you Twilight now can i lay her down upstairs she needs some rest?"

"That's fine i'm going to see the Princess you better not do anything with her while i'm gone Blade."

"Twilight i promise you i won't do anything with her i swear."

"Blade i swear if you do anything with her i'll make you wish you died."

She gave him a kiss and a big hug and walked out the door. Blade lifted Rainbow Dash and brought her upstairs he layed her on the bed wondering if she was alive. He rested his head on her chest and heard her heartbeat and faint breathing. Oh thank goodness shes alive he thought. He sat next to her shaking her trying to wake her up. She moved a little and opened her eyes to see Blade looking right into them.

She giggled softly "Wh-what happened Blade"

"You got struck by lightning Dash i ran out and caught you before you hit the ground."

"Oh my gosh you saved my life that is so cool" she hugged him and stopped almost immediately from the burning pain she felt.

"I'm the town guard Dash i couldn't let you die are you feeling ok right now?"

"Yeah i'm alright i'm just in a lot of pain that's all oh and i can't use my wings."

"Well i can't fix your wings but i think i can use my magic so you aren't in to much pain."

He used his his magic on her and it seemed to have worked she stood up and walked around. She was still feeling pain she would twitch or cringe in pain every once and a while. She laid back down next to Blade and smiled at him.

"Thanks for ugh saving me it was really cool."

"Anytime Dash i can't let you die."

She looked into his eyes and he smiled then she moved in and kissed him very passionately he tried to pull away but he was at the back of the bed against the wall so he couldn't move. She kept kissing him making him feel really awkward he tried to say something but he couldn't. She finally stopped "I'm so sorry about that i just ugh" she thought for a moment "ugh i wanted to thank you."

It's ok Dash thank goodness Twilight didn't see she would kill both of us."

"I'm so sorry i just got carried away i hope it didn't bother you."

"Dash it's fine ok just don't do anything like that in front of Twilight i'm serious she will kill us."

"Wait Blade did you like me kissing you?"

He thought for a minute "ugh maybe I don't know anymore it felt right and very wrong because i'm with Twilight and I love her so much."

"Well if you two ever break up i'm here."

"Nice to know i guess."

"Ugh Blade do you think i can stay over the storm is still really bad and i'm still pretty hurt."

"Dash i'm sure you can but we should wait and ask Twilight when she gets back."

"Alright" she sat there next to him waiting for Twilight to show up. Blade was laying on the bed thinking about his relationship with Twilight. What if i am supposed to be with Dash she kisses me a lot more seriously than Twilight he thought. Dash looked over at Blade she could tell he was deep in thought.

"Watcha thinking about Blade?"

"I'm just thinking about Twilight please don't tell her we kissed whatever you do."

"Alright Blade I know she would kill me she already doesn't like me."

They sat there together Dash rubbing herself against Blade they heard Twilight open the door. She sat up and Twilight came up the stairs slowly. Dash was making sure she wasn't looking at or touching Blade if Twilight saw she would flip. She came into the room and looked at Blade.

"What did you do while i was gone Blade?"

"Not to much just helped out Dash here that's about it."

"Alright your not lying i know when you lie to me good job Blade."

"Twilight sorry to interrupt but can i stay the night?"

"Blade i'm going to trust you wont do anything with her so yes Dash you can."

It was getting late so they decided now would be a good time to go to bed. Blade helped Dash to the other bed he laid her head on the pillow and helped her get comfy so she wouldn't be in pain. Blade walked back to the bed and laid next to Twilight. She gave him a kiss goodnight and they fell asleep with the storm still raging outside.
