Twilight In Darkness

It was about 4 months since Rainbow Dashes injury she had finally left Twilight and Blade alone after being there for 2 months. Blade new she was only trying to hang out with him but for the first month her wing did look pretty bad. But that was besides the point he sat there in the house alone looking over the book Princess Celestia had given him when he first moved. Twilight was out with applejack and wouldn't be back till nightfall. He had the whole day to himself to learn new spells and whatever else he could possibly imagine. He looked over all the high level spells there were so many but he was looking at a certain one. It read Darken Days he wondered what it meant but it was difficult to read the casting part under it. He examined it carefully it was only a few sentences maybe five or six. If i had a magnifying glass i could read this he thought. He looked around for a magnifying glass he finally found one he walked back to the book and read it in his head then aloud.

"When you are feeling angered have no fear. Live the life of pain and persevere. May darkness guide your path. Through an endless destructive aftermath.  Take the darkness and control. Let it grasp onto your soul." After Blade read the spell he felt his head get hazy he collapsed and felt a strong power take over his body. The pain was so powerful he couldn't move he lay there still until he was knocked out. Hours later Twilight came home she ran over to his side.

"Blade wake up" she looked at him he was no longer a dark shade of Blue he was Black and she also noticed his mane was black and grey. She kept shaking him he felt like he was on fire his whole body was almost as hot as lava Twilight had to stop shaking him after each second because she felt like her hooves might melt. He still wouldn't wake up he was completely knocked out and she had no idea for how long. At least she new he wasn't dead she could hear his breathing and when she shook him she could feel his heartbeat. She noticed his heartbeat was rapid. What should I do he isn't getting up she looked at the table and saw the open book. She looked at the spell entitled Darken Days but she didn't attempt to read it. He must have used this spell but there is no counter to this what do i do she thought to herself. She flipped through the book frantically trying to find something that might help but she found nothing. Wait what if I send a letter to the princess then I might be able to fix this.

Dear Princess

Blade used a spell called Darken Days he is unconscious on the floor for what looks like hours what do I do.

Twilight sat there waiting for the Princess to write back. She sat there for what seemed like an eternity but it was really only ten minutes. She scanned the letter immediately.

Dear Twilight Sparkle

I'm so sorry but there is nothing you can do he will eventually wake up but you cannot change him back. I swear i destroyed all evidence of that spell but i guess not. The spell has transformed him into the master of darkness and destruction no one will beat him at these two skills. If he is strong enough he can control it if not ugh lets not get to that. Anyway you need to make sure he doesn't do anything to crazy with his new powers when he wakes up, He can destroy all of Equestria if hes not careful. I'm counting on you Twilight please don't let me down.

Oh no your telling me he is going to be evil this sucks. She walked upstairs and laid down on the bed i'm sorry Blade but i'm not staying up all night to see if you wake up she thought. Twilight laid her head down and fell asleep. She woke up at midnight to the sound of someone coming up the stairs. Blade walked up the stairs looking very angry she noticed his eye color was now red. He got into bed next to her without a word his head still surged with pain but he managed to fall asleep as did Twilight. She woke up at nine to see that Blade was already out of bed he was standing in his casual clothing which was a shirt and a tie which were also black and grey. He was glowing with the aura of rage Twilight never felt so scared when she looked at him he had no emotion anymore. She stood up and walked over to him he was staring out the window. He immediately turned to her giving her a look that was so fierce she wanted to cry but she moved closer and hugged him.

"I love you Blade even if you are different now."

He returned the hug but didn't say anything.

"Blade are you alright?"

"I'm fine" he said as his voice echoed through the room. Even though he was evil Twilight knew he still loved her. She stood there next to him trying not to anger him she was sure if he got mad he would destroy her.

"Blade I think you should start patrolling the town you can't forget to do your job." He nodded back at her and walked out the door his footsteps were so loud it was like he had thirty pairs of iron boots on. He walked around the town as Rainbow Dash saw him she flew over to him.

"Blade whats up" she hugged him noticing his change in color.

"What happened to you?"

"Nothing" he said his voice cold as iron.

"Well could have fooled me but you look cool." She moved closed to him examining his every change. She moved in to kiss him but when she was about to put her lips on his he pushed her away and she flew across the town. He slowly walked over to her.

"Did i hurt you?"

"Isn't it obvious Blade you threw me across the town if you don't want me to kiss you just say so."

"Sorry" he said as he turned around and walked away. He walked through the center of town as everyone stared him down. Everyone felt the evil in his presence but they didn't believe the town guard was evil. Blade walked away ending up at Sweet Apple Acres. Lowell was out front he walked over to Blade.

"What the buck happened to ya?"

"Nothing."

"Well it doesn't look like nothin but whatever."

"Do you need anything Lowell?"

"No thanks Blade i'm fine."

Seeing how no one needed help and it was getting dark Blade made his way back home. On his way home a stallion ran up to him with a sword pointed at his throat. Blade just looked at him like he was a joke. He went to stab Blade and the sword broke into shards. Blade looked back at him Blade was mad now he lifted the stallion and smashed him against the grounding shattering nearly every bone in his body. He walked away like nothing had happened and he met Twilight in the house they went upstairs together. Twilight kissed him Blade held onto her and she fell asleep in his hooves.
