Broken Hope

Nothing happened, she slowly opened her eyes, to see nothing but pink. She got up, ignoring the pain of her wings and cuts still, and poked the pink, which made it fade into a light glowing pink tint on everything she could see. She was spending to much time studying the pink for her to notice her change of location, now being in the changeling hive, in front of four chrysalises.When she stopped, she looked at them, and noticed familiar traits. One was blue pegasus with a rainbow mane, one an orange earth pony wearing a brown hat, one was a white unicorn with a shiny purple mane, and one had a long pink mane, and a lightly yellow tinted coat. All of their eyes were closed, but she assumed three of them were Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity. She wasn't sure about the last, but it reminded her of Fluttershy. She used her horn to break open the first three, making her friends drop out.

"-LP! NOT THE MANE!"

"-T ME GO YOU STUPID *bleep*S!"

"-BUT PROMISE ME YOU'LL SAVE EQUESTRIA!"

They said, finishing what they yelled in their past.

The three opened their eyes, revealing why they were in the cacoons.

Rainbow Dash no longer had her rosy eyes, but not a more bluish look, with the style of a changeling, but she still had her mind. Applejack had her own fair share of the transformation, her front left hoof was black and covered in hooves, and a horn was horn was forming on her head. Rarity,though, had no change which was strange, since they were all taken at the same time.

"Wh-what happened?!" Rarity yelled, showing her terrifying fangs.

"R-rarity.. Your teeth!" The group yelled.

"Wha-" She looked, and screamed at the sight.

That triggered the other two to check themselves out, Rainbow Dash not noticing her eyes, and Applejack freaking out at her hoof.

"N-now, that transformy-thinga-ma-jigger doesn't continue after that, right?" She said.

"I hope not, I already still look perfect, and I don't want to look like a changeling now.." Dash said.

"Your eyes." Twilight said.

"My eyes? What?" The pegasus looked at a shiny rock, and saw her changeling-like eyes. "Oh sweet Celestia.."

"Ah think we'd better get goin', Twi.." Applejack said, nervously.

"Why? Fluttershy should be around here somewhere." Twilight said,

"Because, Fluttershy is around here somewhere, that somewhere is right behind you!" Applejack yelled, pointing behind Twilight.
