My Miserible So-Called Life
Let's get this straight. Everypony thinks they know me. But the don't. When they hear Pinkie they think Happy, Smiles, Parties. They're wrong. So let me tell this story my way. The true way.
I was born on a rock farm. My mama, Lucky Stone, and my papa, Rocky Edge, had 3 fillies, Cracked Stone, Rocky Life, and me, Cobblestone. Yes, that was my real name. We worked all day and night, no questions asked. It was a hard life, but a good one. For me at least.
But one day, I was tired of rocks. I absolutely hated them. So I told my mama and papa "I'm gonna go look for something to do in the village." The village was, yep you guessed it, Ponyville. I went into the village, not knowing it would change my rock farm life forever.
I wasn't looking where I was going and I bumped into an colt. He had a brown coat and black hair. He looked a few years older then me. "Pardon me." I said to the colt. His frown turned to a scowl. "Who do you think you are bumping into perfection?" His voice was mean, like him. Since I was taught to always answer when spoken to, I told him my name. "C....Cobblestone." I trembled.He was big and scary in this little filly's eyes."Well, Cobblestone," he said in disgust. "Filthy Rich will not stand to a little peasant filly talking to him like that." I was so scared. My sisters and I never spoke to each other like that. I was about to go off and cry to my mama, but then something shocking happened. "Why don't you talk to someone your own size?" It was an orange pegasus speaking. Her mane was really cool looking.
"Oh, Spitfire. Thinking you're so cool because your dad is Thunder Blast." Filthy Rich bullied. "But really you're a harmful piece of FIRE." That must of brought some painful memories back to Spitfire, because she immediately hung her head down and started to weep. I couldn't take this. I ran away back to my mama and papa. But when as I was running, I saw a flash. It was a teardrop. It was a cutie mark.
