broken equestria

Fluttershy flapped her wings lightly flying behind rainbow dash her only living frend. The dry wind ruffled through her feathers swirling up dust around her. She had grown used to dust though. she and the cyan mare flying ahead of her both had rags covering there mouths and a few more wrapped around each hoof. Angel bunny shiffed his position on fluttershys head as she thought back to what had happened early that month. Princess celestia and luna had informed the world of equestria that there life span was reaching an end and that they would soon be no longer able to rule equestria. Instead of staying calm like celestia and luna had wanted the entire nation fell into chaos and war broke out everywere. The two sisters did there best to stop it but there recent announcement made that rather difficult. Luna was the first to die she passed away peacefully in her sleep right before celestia the next day. The next big act was that a councell one colt by the name of flaming mortar realised that the elements of harmony were most eligeable for the throne. This realisation sparked 4 assassanations  across equestria leaving applejack, pinke pie, rarity and twighlight sparkle dead (spike killed himself with rarity and twi dead). Fluttershy and rainbowdash escaped and had been trecking across the ruined lands to find... well they dident know that yet all they knew was that half of equestria wanted them dead and half wanted them to be rulers of the land. "Hey rainbow?" Asked fluttershy nervously her wings developing a slight ace. "Yes?" Replied rainbowdash slowing down until they were right next to each other. "Do you think we can stop here for the night? My wings are getting tired and I'm getting cold"

"Of corse fluttershy let's just find some were we can set up camp for the night" they contined flying over the moldering ground the dry wind ripling across there manes sending a cold chill down there spines. Tho two brightly colored. Pegisi drifted across the ground coming to a stop next to an old schoolbus. "Well fluttershy this looks a good a place as any." They clambered into the bus careful not to cut or scrach themselves as they moved around across the rusted floor to the back of the bus. "There's not much room back here" murmured fluttershy "but this is fine..." she said sheepishly as she hid behind her mane. "No its not fluttershy you realy need to start to stand up for yourself" replied rainbowdash.

"Oh sorry..."

"Just be quiet please" rainbowdash said greatly annoyed. They started to push against the old seats , the old rusted metal snapped so easaly that fluttershy fell over the front. She squeaked as her front left leg scraped across the metal floor of the bus. "Fluttershy! Are you ok!?" Yelled rainbowdash ash she and angel bunny rushed over to help fluttershy. Angel bunny grabbed a cloth from fluttershys pack and wraped it around her leg. Fluttershys eyes started to tear up as the pain grew along with the rust in the gash stinging. rainbowdash walked over and dealer her wing around fluttershy pulling her closer and lifthing her hoof to check the wound.
