Where should I start, well my name is currently Sky River, I'm six feet tall, I'm half white and Mexican, the color of my eyes are green, and I have black hair. That sums up what I look like and who I am.
It has been ten days since my arrival in Equestria. I have been thrown, tackled, hit with blunt objects, and attacked in the forest. Those six ponies really don't like newcomers, I was in the town for barely an hour and they start attacking me and... Wait I'm getting ahead of my self, let's start from the beginning where I was still at home.

It was a normal Wednesday afternoon and I was currently sitting in my recliner when my cell phone rang. I picked it up and saw that Jerry called. Jerry is a little immature for my liking, but even complete opposites can become friends.
Oh god, now what? I thought. I flipped it open and hit the answer button.
"Dude dude you'll never believe what I just saw," Jerry said.
"What did you see that you just had to call me?' I said slightly annoyed.
Sensing my annoyance he replied, "Dude just hear me out, I just saw a new girl in town."
"And what's so special about that?" I said raising my eyebrow.
"Let's go check her out!" he said excitedly.
"You do that, I'll go make me a sandwich."
"Dude come on, we can take your route," he said desperately.
"My route? You sure you're up for it?" I asked
"May I remind you that I taught you that," he said in a smug tone.
"Fine meet me by my hou-,"
"Already there."
"You planned this," I said smirking.
"Yep, I'm much smarter than you think."
"Much smarter?"
"Shut up."
"Bye."
"By-," I hit the end button before he could finish.
He gets on my nerves, but he is a good guy by heart. Jerry and I met a few years ago during school when he was doing parkour, but it was his first attempt and he failed miserably. I was walking by when he tried to jump a wall and he landed on me. That little predicament was the thing that made this friendship.
Knocking could be heard from my door. I got up from my recliner, Damn I space out way to much, I thought. The knocking became louder as I walked to my door.
"Dude did you take a nap or something?" my friends voice said from outside my door.
I opened my door to see a annoyed Jerry, He was tapping his foot while looking at his watch. Jerry was a short guy barely up to my chest, he had brown hair, dark blue eyes, and he wears glasses.
"Dude we have to hurry or she'll be gone!" he said panicked
"Jerry girls stay in malls for shopping and it's nearly lunch they should stay there to get something to eat, I'm sure we have plenty of time."
"The faster we get their the more we'll learn about her," he said
"You mean the more you'll want to stalk her."
"Let's just go," he said with a angry tone.
We walked down the street up to a old apartment building, it was closed down so no one ever goes in it. I looked down at Jerry and smirked, he smirked right back and I cracked my neck and back and he did the same.
"Though it or to the roof?" he asked me.
I looked at him and smirked, "You know the answer to that."
He looked back and said, "Roof it is."
We looked up and I took off running to the a wall, I jumped up and grabbed the bottom of a window and hoisted myself up. I looked back at Jerry and saw him climbing up, placing his hands in places with missing bricks. I jumped from the window seal and grabbed a balcony, I climbed up and grabbed the top of the door. We continued this for a few more seconds until I was the first one one the roof, he joined me and smiled.
"I taught you well" he said
"Well you didn't, you wanted to learn ever since you played Assassin Creed," I replied.
"And it was my stubbornness that got us were we are today."
"Well should we go?"
"Let's go!"
We managed to learn how to free-run and do parkour from the game and thousands of Youtube videos. We never stopped trying every time he fell. I learned that falling is just a way of learning from our mistakes to make us better, Jerry was just stubborn.
We traveled on the roof tops making excellent progress, we stopped when we saw the mall.
"I wish we had those carts of hay or grass to leap of faith into." he said disappointed
"Either way it would be dangerous. You know if that game was real how do you think he would do that, did he have to do it from a small height and went higher or-"
"Dude stop your thinking to much about it, now lets go and see if we find her. I hope she's cute," he said while climbing down.
I watched him climb down while I was thinking to myself. I tend to over think things and space out a lot, but I can't help but think of every other possible thing it's a curse of mine. I never was one for doing something without a plan, and come to think of it I was never one to have a relationship with girls. It doesn't mean I didn't get a girl trying to ask me out, it just that I was never interested in them. And no I don't swing the other way. There is nothing wrong with them they are quite beautiful. I've just never really had any interest. I... wait told you I tend to over think things.
Now back to me and Jerry, we climbed down and he was dragging me left and right to search for this new girl. We 'searched' for about an hour, he looked like he was ready to give up until he stopped in his path and was looking at a group of guys in a circle around something or someone. We walked... Well, I walked to the circle. Jerry, thanks to his small size was able to push though the group of guys. I was just standing there waiting for him to be turned down again. I was getting tired of waiting for him, so I walked toward the food court. It was around the time to eat supper anyway, so I was going to grab a bite to eat. While walking I was tapped on the shoulder.
What does he... wait he doesn't tap me on the shoulder,I thought.
I turned around to find a girl I hadn't seen before, I knew this had to be the new girl. She was smaller than me, not as small as Jerry though. She was dressed in a white t-shirt with the words 'Wild girl' in pink and a pink mini skirt.
She looked up at me while I looked down at her with a neutral expression, she smiled at me and crossed her arms.
"Hi," she said
"Hello," I replied.
I knew she was trying to make me ask her out, she was cute but I didn't trust her faith in her boyfriends.
"Can I help you?" I asked.
"Well maybe you can, you see I just broke up with my boyfriend because he cheated on me and I was looking for a guy that would be faithful to me. Those guys were ogling me" -she turns her head looking back at the guys - " and I knew they were going to date me to impress their friends and for sex, but you just turned and walked away."
Very observant. She knows how to get to me, but the way she's dressed and all that makeup..
"A real shame about your boyfriend cheating on you, but I'm not interested in you."
"Aw really, you look like you need a girlfriend in your life. I could be-" she started before I cut her off.
"Sorry, but the way your dressed and all that makeup your looking for a one night stand. You just think I might be a good lay."
Her jaw dropped and she looked into my eyes, she recomposed her self and smiled.
"You're too smart for your own good, you should be dying to be laid," she said annoyed.
"Like I said; not interested in a slut," I said harshly and walked off.
I walked to a pizza parlor and Jerry walked next to me. He looked at me with a neutral face, as he ordered a pepperoni pizza. I order a meat lovers pizza. We sat at the table while we ate in silence He has never been this quiet before. His limit was about five minutes. We walked out of the mall at seven o'clock, it looked like he had a lot on his mind. I figured that he wasn't in the mood to free-run so we walked home. We walked to his house, with him in front of me.
"You know, that was kind of cool dude," Jerry said.
"Wh-"
He raised his hand "Let me finish. You knew that see wanted to have sex with you, but you turned her down. I just go loco for any girl, but your waiting for a girl to treat you right. It makes me think if I will ever find a girl that likes me for me."
Wow, he has never been this deep before. "That was deep, I never knew you were like that."
"Yeah sometimes I can be smart about things too." he said smirking.
"You have your moments," I said while he punched me in the arm.
"See you tomorrow?"
"You know want? I'll come by tomorrow instead you coming to my place."- I held my fist up.- "Sound like a plan"
He pounded my fist and walked inside his house, I walked back to my house. I opened my door to darkness, My parents must still be on their vacation. They are good parents, but sometimes they screw up somethings. Like this time they thought they got three tickets, but accidentally got two instead. They weren't going to leave me behind but I insisted they go on the vacation. They needed some time alone.
I walked to my room and opened my door. I looked into it and smiled, this was like my temple it has everything I want: two guitars, a Playstation Three, and a Windows Eight computer. I closed my door and kicked off my shoes. I fell into my bed, grabbed my blanket and pulled it over me.

I woke up to the sound of sirens going off this siren was for a tornado, I pulled the blanket off of me and I bolted downstairs. I was sitting in the corner of the room. I am terrified of storms not because of the noise it is because of the destruction and lives that could be lost, if a storm was scheduled I never went out of the house and if their was on after school I would bolt home.
I was waiting for it to pass until the entire room was shaking, I was thrown against the wall. My head hitting the wall and knocking me out. Let me tell you when you go to sleep anything you did before like hit your toe you don't feel it, but getting knocked out you feel the pain the entire time. I dreamed about seeing me in a coffin with my family around me crying, I thought I was gone and this was the last thing that will be in my head. I woke up after seeing this image for what felt like hours.

When I woke up I was surrounded by all the old junk we stored down here, I reached up to my head and felt a bump on it. I didn't die and I wasn't badly injured. I tried to move but my body was taking its sweet time. Once I had control again I got up and looked around, entire place was trashed.
Shouldn't a basement not get sucked up by a tornado.
I went for the stairs and they were intact surprisingly. When I reached the door I stopped, if a tornado came though I thought why is this part of the house intact? It was on the ground level... I opened the door to find myself blinded by the sun, I held my hand up and walked out the door. Once my eyes adjusted to the light I saw I was surrounded by trees, I looked back and saw my door was in the side of a tree inside of the trunk, the trunk looked like my door was smashed inside of it. I looked forward all I saw was thick foliage and trees. I walked back to the basement to see what I can salvage from it.

I never knew I was a different world and would have never expected what was to come. I had left my world and I was now in Equestria.
