Chapters It was a sunny day at Canterlot, the birds were singing, and the foals were playing.
However, the day wasn't great for Electro Swing, he had been partying all night and needed some rest. He went to one of the nearest stores to buy some stuff for his laptop, however... As soon as he went inside, everypony looked at hîm, but as soon as he noticed, a lot of fanmares were already around him, hugging and fighting for him.
¨He's mine!¨ said a pegasus.
¨No! He's mine!¨ replied a Aqua-Blue unicorn.
¨H-he-Hey!!! Stop it!!!!¨ said Electro. ¨I can barely breathe!!!!¨
He started running all the way back to his department, with a herd of fanmares following him.
After some more running, he finally got to his department. But, as soon as he got there, he didn't like what he saw... It was a letter, a very mysterious letter. It had no information on who was sending the letter, and the location the concert would take place was a very unusual place for performing, nearby the old ¨haunted¨ Mansion in the outsides of Canterlot.
At first, he thought this was a joke, but as he continued reading he found that he would get payed, over 1,000,000 Bits!!!
Electro was smarter than that, and as soon as he found out that the Concert would be sponsored by DJ Pon-3, and MCW1SH, he completely forgot about resting after reading the letter, he could only imagine what he could do with the money!
Of course, he wouldn't waste all of it in himself. Some of his friends had several economic problems, and needed some money to get through them.
He had done great things for the society in Canterlot and Ponyville, there was a time in which he bought a lot of territory in the outsides of Canterlot to build Jobs, Schools and other things.
He needed material for this Concert, and of course... New material, instead of producing Progressive House this time.
¨Techno, or Psytrance! Maybe Dubstep? Or probably just Electro¨ started thinking the turquoise-colored Stallion.
Whatever it would be, he needed rest... And urgently!
The next day, Electro Swing went to Ponyville to pick up some music history books from Twilight Sparkle's library.
When he arrived to town, he was anxious to see all the ponies, specially Vinyl Scratch (a.k.a DJ PON-3) , he wanted to talk all about the new music he has been making.
It didn't take him long to arrive at Twilight's, as he was about to go knock the door, a Aqua-Blue unicorn with a saddle bag came out from the library and bumped into Electro Swing.
¨Oh, I'm so sorry! I was just walking by and I didn't notice y-¨ said the unicorn before letting a squee come out.
¨It's fi-fine, I guess?¨ replied Electro
¨Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gooooosh!!!¨ shouted the unicorn. ¨It's Electro Swing!!!! I-I'm one of your biggest fans!!!¨
¨Wow tha-¨ said Electro before being interrupted by the unicorn.
¨I know all about you! Where you live, where you studied, all about your concerts, what music you produce, and I really would like you music A LOT MORE if you added some more instruments and less Synth!!!!¨ said the unicorn ¨Oh, sorry... I'm Lyra Hearstrings by the way.¨
¨Yeah- well that was creepy, Lyra...hehe.¨
¨Oh my gosh!!! I- where is it?!¨ Lyra said after searching through the saddle bag she had on. ¨A-ha!¨ Lyra pulled out her lyre, her horn started to glow and played some music for Electro.
¨Well, that's nice of you.. Lyra?¨ said the stallion, clueless about what was going on with this mare.
¨And this one's only for you, I have to use the most difficult spell I know... But as long as you like it, I dont care¨
Her horn started to glow and formed something around her hooves, something that looked like various flexible sticks coming out of her hooves.
¨This is my hands spell!¨ said Lyra. ¨Hands spell?¨ replied Electro, confused.
The ¨hands¨ started playing one of Electro's most complicated songs, Lyra kept on, even though, she knew that she was tired and needed rest, because Electro was surprised by this, and judging by his face he liked it!
¨Stop it¨ said Electro, Lyra stopped. ¨How about you help me create a new song I'm working on for a concert? Huh? Whatcha´ say?¨
Lyra dropped her jaw, she was very surprised! Lyra Hearstrings, working with Electro Swing on his newest song... Lyra just couldn't stop saying.. ¨Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!¨
It was decided, Lyra Hearstrings was gonna be the one to help Electro make the newest hit! She was so excited she completely forgot about what she went to Twilight's for.
¨Oh sorry! But I must go!!!! I need to do some Anthropology researching!¨
¨Cool, thanks for the help, Hearstrings!¨ Lyra was not amused by this last thing he said, but she didn't care! She was so excited, she didn't care!
Lyra walked away to one of the houses nearby, and went inside.
Electro, however went inside Twilight's to pick up that music book he needed for this Concert.
¨Hmmmm, I wonder how should I put in that harp into the Techno structure of the song...¨ Electro wondered.
Electro came inside of Twilight's library, he greeted Twilight and asked her about the book.
¨Oh yes!¨ Twilight said ¨Let me check... Spike!.... Spike!!... SPIKE!!!¨
No answer told Twilight, Spike was inside the library. Electro looked around only to find some book about Mythical Creatures, Twilight went upstairs to check. While Electro went through the pages of that book, he heard something.
¨CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS ASSISTANCE AS SPIKE!!!¨ He looked around to check where did the noise come from.
It was from upstairs, he could also hear Twilight talk loudly about Spike.
After a while, Twilight went downstairs with 4 little fillies. ¨Sorry it's just that these 4 always LOVE to get themselves in trouble.¨ Electro looked at the 4 little fillies.
One with a Red mane, and yellow coat, this one was an Earth Pony.
Another one with a Purple mane and orange coat, this one was a Pegasus.
The third one with a Purple and Pink mane and white coat, this time a Unicorn.
And the last one with Pink-ish like mane and orange coat, again an Earth Pony.
¨Hi, we're the Cutie Mark Crusaders!¨ said the yellow one. ¨We're a secret organization that helps blank flanks get their Cutie Marks¨ said the white one.
¨Well, that IS good¨ Electro replied ¨I remember how I got mine!¨ The fillies looked at each other. ¨Can you tell us how you got yours, please?¨ asked the pink-ish mane one.
¨Ok, fine. It was back when I was a colt in Manehattan, my parents used to go out with me to the park almost everyday... That is...¨
Continued Electro. ¨Until dad passed away, mom was very depressed and she needed some moral help... I started testing out with the Computer to get her something that would cheer her up, I found a music program. I thought the music played by itself.... I was quite wrong, it was a composer. Something that you use to make music, I decided that if I would make music.... It would be a different genre almost all the time, that's why most of my concerts sound like mixes.
At school, we were taking music classes. I was quite good with the keyboard, eventually ended up asking to borrow it for a week.
That's how I started making music with the keyboard. And as a matter of fact realized I was pretty good, maybe this WAS supposed to be my destiny.... Maybe it had to be... Somehow!¨ Said Electro.
¨After I got my mom to listen to the music, she got quite hyped up! And that, foals. Is how this thingy-¨ Electro pointed at his flank.
A musical note with headphones was what Electro Swing's cutie mark was.

The CMC were amazed, they could only stay there a few secs before Twilight told them to leave the library, she picked up a book from one a table, and gave it to Electro.
¨Thanks, Twi!¨ Said Electro to Twilight, as he went outside he bumped with a pegasus stallion with a red coat and black mane.
¨Sorry! Um, hi!¨ said the Stallion, ¨My name is Storming Blood, and glad to meet you and um.. Well... It's nice?¨ The pegasus said, awkwardly.
Electro was a bit impressed by the fact that he introduced himself, he just met this Pegasus, he was also really impressed ¨Hello, my name is Electro Swing¨ replied the turquoise unicorn.
Storming wide-opened his eyes weirdly. ¨Well, it was nice to meet you, Electro Swing. But I'm kinda in a rush right now so yeah...¨

There was something odd about this Pegasus, it seemed like he was hiding something, judging by how fast things went by... Electro sweared it had something to do with him.
