In the near future, Humanity was faced with a decision: space, or extinction. Earth was tearing itself apart, and war raged across its polluted wastes. The nations of the world, desperate and weak, united together in their time of strife. They founded the United Terran Coalition, with a single goal in mind: Living. Dedicated to preserving Human life, the UTC was prepared to venture across space to do so. With authorization from every major government on Earth, the UTC prepared the mass transport of four billion humans across space to new worlds, and new futures.

Now, the crew of the UTC Ranger and the UTC Hunter fell victim to a relentless computer virus, turning them back towards Earth. The ships miraculously survive a twenty-two-million year round trip through the void of space, defying their own expiration. Within that span of time, Earth had undergone changes that forever would change the course of history.

And now, Humanity wants their world back. Even if they have to die for it.
