A Derpy Apocalypse: The Raiders

You did this...This was your fault...I hate you...

The thoughts running through Vinyl's head were excruciating. All she could hear was Octavia's voice, the hatred Vinyl had given, the destruction she had caused, the depression she gave, all returned in the one eye of her dead friend. Voices...haunting her.

She woke up in darkness. She knew it was a nightmare, and she knew who was going to give her the punishment. Vinyl started to hear voices...and as they grew louder she saw the ponies...all the ones she knew, the ones she killed, the ones she harmed, hurt, and destroyed the lives of. She could barely stand it...You did this... it was messing with her mind You don't deserve your life......unbearable...You will pay for what you did...you prick! Vinyl screamed in anger as she threw punches at all of the hallucinations, each time they would disappear and come back where she couldn't reach them.

"Stop....STOP!!!!!!" she screamed. Everything stopped. A silence, an indescribable silence. A figure...standing in the back. It was an alicorn. The alicorn was blue, eyes glowing white, royal attire...

It was Luna.

"Celsitudo tua..." Vinyl said, weeping. "dimitte me obsecro..." She was speaking a foreign language that she learned before she became a DJ, it was a language all the ponies used to use. That was why all the spells were in this language.

"Do you know what you did?" The alicorn, Luna, said. "You committed unnecessary murder, you destroyed ponies lives, thus you are punished with the death of your one and only friend. This wasn't Rainbow Dash's fault, this was yours. You did this, and you will pay." Luna paced back and forth. "I should kill you." She said again. "I should have executed you by now, but I'm giving you another chance, because I know who you really are. The apocalypse doesn't change everypony...it makes them think they are changed." Luna looked at Vinyl hard. "You will have an eternal punishment in return. You will forever hear these voices in your dreams, reminding you of how cruel you once were. I can't change that, only you can." Luna stomped her hoof revealing a huge simulation of Equestria. "This..." she said. "Is Equestria now." she zoomed in on a particular area. "And this is your camp, and over here is the horde coming after it."

"Wait...you know about the zeds...?" Vinyl asked confusedly.

"Why would I not?" Luna asked. "I'm a princess, of course I know about it!"

"Then what the buck are you doing to help us?!" Vinyl shouted in anger. Luna stopped for a minute. She looked up at Vinyl.

"It's....my sister...." Luna said. "she isn't allowing anypony to leave the Canterlot castle, including me and herself, she says it's for safety, but I know better."

"Wh..what do you mean..." Vinyl asked. "are you talking about Celestia?"

"Yes..." Luna said. "she doesn't want to help anypony, she says if anypony outside Canterlot dies, it won't matter because they aren't proper or important."

"What?!" Vinyl shouted.

"I've said to much, wake up Vinyl, your fixing to die..." Luna said. "save your camp!"

Everything started turning white in Vinyl's eyes.

"WAIT!!!" She shouted, but it was too late. She woke up in a medical tent.

Time Turner was beside her, monitoring Vinyl's heartbeat. It went up rapidly when she nearly jumped out of the bed. Turner jumped back to see Vinyl with dilated eyes, panting heavily. She turned to Time Turner and grabbed him.

"There's a horde...Luna showed me!" She said. "There's no time to explain just go!" Vinyl broke free of all the wires holding her on the bed in the tent. She grabbed an AK47 off of the ground and loaded it. Somepony grabbed her and shoved her back.

"Where do you think your going?" The pony said. It was Dash. Vinyl pointed to the entrance of the camp revealing a massive horde of zeds. Dash quickly picked Vinyl back up and grabbed her own weapon.

"I'm trusting you with this..." Dashie said. She looked back at the camp. "HORDE!" She shouted. Turner, and Carrot Top came out.

"Carrot! Get your bow, Turner, use one of the .50 Cals!" Dash shouted again. She took out a .50 Caliber Sniper Rifle and headshoted three zeds. Vinyl ran to the weapons tent and grabbed a Magnum and knife. The zeds decreased in number rapidly as they got closer.

Once they were finished with the horde, they all met back in the center of the camp.

"Okay look..." Rainbow Dash said. "Me and Turner have decided to free you both."

"Why?" Vinyl asked.

"Why are you asking?" Dash replied.

"Release her, but I don't deserve to be set free..." Vinyl said.

"We need you, we need you both." Turner said. "Despite you killing one of our camp members, you could help us stop the apocalypse."

"I guess you have a point there..." Carrot Top said.

"Agreed." Vinyl said. "We need to find out what this virus is though, because it isn't normal."

"We know, we already found out some about it," Dash replied pulling out a large scroll. "it derives from Everfree. It's a living virus, and it is able to control certain parts that a normal zed virus couldn't."

"Like...what?" Vinyl asked. Dash showed her a picture of a flying zed, and a couple of variations of earth pony zeds.

"And that's not all," Dash said, pulling out another picture. "there are some that can control magic...they are called hiveminders."
