(NOTE: I did read the comments on ''Living Nightmare'', and I knew it was crap. I removed it at once. Hopefully this is better.)
It was midnight all over Equestria, and everypony was asleep in their beds. All but Mr. and Mrs. Cake. They were down in the basement, baking bread in the furnaces.
''This is going to be the biggest load we've ever made!'' exclaimed Mr. Cake.
'' I'll happily agree with that!'' Mrs. Cake chuckled.
They both laughed. The basement was a large room, the walls paved with furnaces. the floor was covered in white kitchen tiles. There was a small window in the very corner of the room. In the middle of the room, there was a table, covered in unfinished cakes and muffins.
Little did they know; somepony was watching them through that small window. Somepony dangerous. Somepony mad. Somepony MURDEROUS. As the Cake couple chuckled, the murderer was preparing. The murderer wore a black robe, that shrouded his face. He held a beautifully carved katana. The handle was pure gold, engraved with screaming faces. The blade was a fine titanium blade, carved with flowers. The murderer laughed a little bit. He was going to kill them mentally and physically. The madman ran his hoof down the blade, and drew a bit of crimson red blood.
He stalked around to the front of the building, and tapped the glass door lightly. He then hid round the corner. Mrs. Cake poked her head round the door, but all she could see was darkened Ponyville. She returned back inside, but forgot to lock the door. the murderer laughed quietly, and sneaked into the shop, locking the door behind him.
''Oh, that looks marvelous!'' Mr. Cake laughed from behind the basement door.
The murderer tapped the door, and retreated behind the counter. Mr. Cake opened the door, and looked out. Nothing but the empty shop. Mr. Cake suddenly closed the door.
''Say your prayers.'' A grudgy voice whispered.
The assassin tiptoed to the door, and nudged it a bit. It was time. He kicked open the door and ran in, his Katana high above his head. He slashed at the cakes, and ran towards Mr.Cake. ''What the?!'' Mr. Cake shouted, but it was cut off by the fine blade piercing his stomach, spurting blood over the basement. he twisted the blade, making a hole in Mr. Cakes' stomach.
A scream of agony came out of Mr. Cake. He then lifted the blade up, piercing Mr. Cakes' jaw, cracking his skull. He retreated his blade and spun around. Mrs. Cake was paralyzed with fear. He lifted the blade up high and cut straight through Mrs. Cakes skull. Her brain split in half, the blood from her head spurting on the floor. The murderer then smashed the window, and escaped.
''Mr and Mrs Cake?'' ''Are you alright down there?'' Pinkies' voice came from upstairs.
She came down the stairs, and opened the Basement door. She wished she hadn't.

Pinkie Pie sat in the police department, crying to her heart's content. Her ''parents'' had been murdered. Pinkie was a wreck. It was only 4 am, after all. Police had suspicions that Pinkie might of done it, because she was the only other person in the house at the time, but police units were searching the bakery for any clues.
''I mean.. she, he..'' Pinkie Pie cried. ''THEY WERE LIKE PARENTS TO ME!'' Pinkie blurted, then placed her head on her hooves.
''It's all right Pinkie,'' said one of the constables.'' Shall we tell you friends to come over?'' There was a moment of silence. ''Yes, please.'' She mumbled.

About 20 minutes later, Twilight and Spike were the first to burst through the door.
''Pinkie, are you alright?'' Spike and Twilight said in harmony.
''No... Mr and Mrs Cake... are dead.'' Pinkie sobbed.
Spike gasped, and Twilight did the same. Twilight sat down next to Pinkie. Just at that moment, Fluttershy, Apple Jack and Rarity came through the door.
''What's wrong, Pinkie?'' Fluttershy asked.
''The Cake couple are dead. Murdered.'' Spike said.
''Oh. I'm sorry, Pinkie.'' Fluttershy and Rarity said together.
''Where's Dashie?'' Asked Pinkie.
''She said she was... unreachable.''The constable said.
All the ponies laughed.
''No, seriously, she wasn't answering her mobile.''
About an hour later, they all left the Police Department.
''Yo guys, how 'bout we go to the cinema?'' Said a voice coming from above. Rainbow Dash had just arrived.
''Rainbow Dash, where have you been?'' Asked Pinkie.
''I was in a secret meeting. For racing Pegasus's.'' Dash replied.
''Well, sorry about Mr and Mrs Cake.'' Pinkie stopped moving. ''How would you know?'' Pinkie asked.
''Oh. well it was all over the news.'' Dash confessed.
''WHAT?!'' Pinkie shouted.
''Yeah, it's on all the news channels. And news papers. It's amazing how quick they update this stuff!'' Dash laughed nervously.
''Who knows about this?'' Asked Twilight.
''Well... um...'' Dash trailed off.
''TELL US!'' Pinkie barked.
''Umm... uhh...'' Dash stated to sweat.
''Well... 2,000,000 PEOPLE READ IT!'' Dash burst in to tears, but suddenly opened her eyes and wiped them.
''Uh, yeah, sorry. Hay fever.''
Pinkies' jaw literally nearly dropped to the ground.
''Who buys the new newspapers at 5 am?!'' Applejack shouted.
''Now I heard the early bird gets the worm, but that's just insane!'' Suddenly, a officer stepped out of the police department.
''Keep it down out there! And stay safe, young'uns!''
''We will!'' All the ponies shouted.
''Soo...'' Applejack said.
''I don't know about you lot, but I gotta be getting some shut-eye.'' And with that Applejack walked off.

As Applejack walked down the dark road towards the Apple Acres, loud music could be heard coming from the nightclub. Applejack wandered what could be happening, so she walked up to the window, and looked through. Applejack's jaw dropped. DJ PON-3 was performing. Surrounded her were thousands of ponies, dancing, jigging and having fun. Applejack wandered to the door.
''Uh... Excuse me sir, can I get one of these here tickets?'' Applejack asked.
''Sure. Only 10 bits.'' The guard replied. Applejack payed her fee, and stepped inside. She was greeted with loud music that flowed through her ears.
The floor was made up of thousands of flashing lights. There was a huge disco ball hanging from the ceiling, and there was a table in the corner filled with all kinds of confectionery. At the back of the hall, DJ PON-3 was standing on a podium, behind the DJ Decks, watching over the crowd.
''Excuse me. Comin' through. Oh, sorry about that.'' Applejack explained as she pushed her way to the front.
There she was, face to face with the greatest DJ in all of Equestria.
''Yo dude. 'Sup?'' The words came from DJ PON-3's mouth.
''Wow! I never believed I would be talking with the one and only DJ PON-3!'' Applejack said happily.
''You enjoying the music?'' Asked DJ PON-3.
''Yeah. What's this track called?'' PON-3 looked behind the podium. ''Death At The Disco.'' She replied.

''Well, I gotta go now.'' said the DJ.
She trotted over to the private restroom. As she locked the door behind her, she traveled over to the sink and washed her sweaty face. She took off her misty glasses, and cleaned them. When she put them back on, she heard a tapping noise coming from behind her. She turned around. The pony behind her wore black robes, but PON-3 could not make out who it was, because the hood shrouded his face.
''Sorry, but you must leave. This is a private restroom.'' PON-3 said firmly. Still, the pony just took a step towards the scared DJ.
''Get out of here. Now.'' By this time the DJ was nervous, and backing up against the sink. Before she could call the guards, the stranger leaped upon her.
''It's no use screaming.''said the stranger in a gravelly laugh. he held a dagger with a black handle, and red blade. on the handle, a demon's face was carved. The blade was just a plain,black, steel slate. The robed maniac lifted the fine blade, and plunged it towards his victim. PON-3 quickly retaliated, punching the murderer in the snout before he could strike.
'' I'll show you why not to mess with DJ PON-3!'' exclaimed the startled DJ as she stood up.
The brave DJ dived on top of the her assailant, and started beating his face. She started with the left hoof, then the right hoof, and so on. PON-3 then pulled back the hood of her attacker, and gasped in fear.
'' It's you!'' she screamed in sheer terror.
While the DJ was in shock, the murderer took his chance. The bloodthirsty maniac shoved PON-3 away, and stood up. He then pushed her into the locked lavatory door, and stabbed not once, not twice, but thrice. The blood streamed from her chest, creating a red sea all over the tiles on the floor.
The DJ screamed in sheer pain, her screams only to be cut off by a final slice to the throat. The murderer kept slashing, white pony meat falling to the floor. The psycho cut for minutes, until the body was a pile of skin, bones and bodily organs on the floor. He opened the door, and let the blood flow out.
Meanwhile, on the dance floor, Applejack was having a fun time. She was dancing with some of the male ponies, until she heard someone shout:
''All ponies, would you be kind enough to leave the club. Thank you.''
The ponies all poured out of the hall, one by one, until everyone had left. Except a little miss Applejack. Applejack wanted to explore, to see what happened. She sneaked behind the curtains on the stage, and tiptoed behind the DJ decks. Behind the decks were various 2 litre bottles of Soda, and there was a microphone, as well. AJ gracefully moved to the V.I.P door, then opened it. The white tiles on the floor were now red. Silently, AJ walked over to the Ladie's room, and went in. Surprisingly, there was no pony in there, and the body had gone, too. Quietly, AJ looked in the sink. There was something red in there. As Applejack lifted it up, she saw it was a hair, that belonged to a pony. A RED pony.
