Captain of the Guard: Lunarus Solaris Nexus is hoping to live a normal life after his death and rebirth at Canterlot Military Academy. Dust Storm is expecting, Nexus has healed fully and Ephialtes is starting to adjust to his new life in Canterlot. But the Grand Galloping Gala holds trouble for the young Commander. Sombra sends a small force of changelings and forces Celestia to send all of her troops right into a trap. Nexus sees this and goes under Celestia's nose, past Luna and across the East Ocean to Saddle Arabia to try and stop Sombra's plan before he cripples the defending force of Equestria. Friendships will be stretched, alliances will be tested and bridges will burn. Will something greater rise from the ashes?
