With equestrian forces doing one final push on the Lunar Rebellion's forces, and Celestia forced to use the Elements on her sister, both sisters march with armies behind each other, and a general to control each. During the final confrontation, the Solar General, and Lunar General fall simultaneously to each others blades. Right before Death takes them, Discord convinces Death to return them to life. Though Discord is trying to make the saying 'Death is only the beginning of Immortality' a bit more literal. Though the thought of sharing immortality with an old enemy has shown that things can be a bit more difficult.
