Princess Chitin has always strived to find a way for ponies and changelings to co-exist peacefully, but when her Hive is invaded, slaughtered, and carted off to Canterlot, she and a single drone barely manage to escape with their lives. Lost, hungry and with no Hive to call home, the two must find a way to survive in pony society. With every other changeling either dead or imprisoned, Chitin finds herself thrust into the role of Queen; a Queen of One.
