Nightmare Moon's time of return is near with only one certain unicorn in the know… but, she has her own destiny which shall fulfill itself in due time. There is still one unicorn in Ponyville with a destiny though and one that could be considered even greater than that of the former… this unicorn's name is Amicus…

Amicus thinks that he has no purpose, no identity. A family which kept him well seemed to hold no meaning to him. He has great capabilities in magic, but no motivation to use it. He is young, but of little interest in his daily life. Though he felt a connection to the night, one that he couldn’t explain, one he could never truly discover. For he lives for the night… he lives for her! He is… Her Guardian.

Amicus is not alone for this journey though… since the Lunar Guard needs to be reformed…
