Winona's and Gummy's Family Roadtrip
Prologue: The Prelude to What
It was a beautiful morning on the farm when a rapping came from the Apples’ front door.
The orange mare sitting at the dining room table groaned; she didn’t appreciate being bothered before she had her morning coffee,“Ugh, Applebloom, git th’ door”
“But Applejaaack! Ah’m tireeed!”
“Well so am ah!” Applejack looked over to the stallion sitting next to her, “Big Mac? Can ya git th’ door?”
“Nnnope.”
“Why not?”
“‘Cus”
“Ah swear, ya’ll are the most stubborn ponies...Winona? Granny?”
Neither of them answered, for they were both asleep.
“Fine! Be that way! Ah’ll git th’ door, since the res’ of y’all are bein’ so lazy!” Applejack stood up with a huff and crossed to the door, before wrapping her hoof around the handle and pulling it open.
“Now what in tarnation do ya wa-”
“HEY, COU-SIN!”
Applejack’s mind exploded. Twice.
“Are y'all ready to go? Because I'm ready to go, go, GO!” The pink party pony known as Pinkie Pie hopped up and down as the Apple Family finished packing the wagon that would take them to Goldie Delicious’ house.
“Yea, yea, one sec’ Pinkie,” Applejack replied, before turning to the old, rusty wagon with various junk balanced precariously inside, “Big Mac? Ar’ ya sure we really need all that stuff?
“Eeyup.”
“Ar’ ya sure you're strong ’nough ta really pull all that stuff?”
“Eeyup!”
“Ar’ ya sure th’ wagon's strong ‘nough to hold it all?
Big MacIntosh growled, “Eeyup!”
“Then let’s git this show on th' road!
The family was halfway through Ponyville when Applebloom piped up, “Am ah the only one who feels like we fergot somethin’?”
Applejack snorted, “Pfft, Applebloom, don’t be a silly filly! With how much Big Mac here packed, I’m shore we have tha ‘hole house in this wagon! Right, Mac?”
“ Eeyu- Hey!”
It was at that moment when a certain border collie woke up from her mid-morning nap.
“Ahroo?”
