It was just an oddly calm day in Ponyville. Nopony was in danger and everything was calm. Twilight was re-organizing the library with spike, for the third time that day. Rarity was busy filling out her regular orders for the fancies of Canterlot. Fluttershy was tending to the creatures just outside the Everfree forest. Rainbow dash had just cleared the clouds and was relaxing for the day. Pinkie pie was having a picnick party with gummie and Apple Jack was working on the farm. All was fine. or was it
It was another normal day for me, wake up. work and then sleep. barely any time for friends. My life was a bit lonely for some, but what little time I did have, always went to my friends.
I had the best friends in the world and they knew it.
I woke up with the sun in my eyes and immediately went to the bathroom, Washed my face and got ready for the day. As I was stepping out of the bathroom I saw a small flash of light in the corner of my eye. I shrugged it off thinking it was just the early morning rays reflecting themselves through my window.
I walked in the kitchen and got my coffee when I finally noticed it. The long beams of light silhouetting my front door, as I thought what it could be I realized that the morning had been awfully quiet. This was no normal thing for the city. As I approached the door my mind was racing. I touched the door handle and slowly opened it, the last thing that flew into my head before that light blinded me was, There's a reason for everything.
They were in the Everfree forest where most of the wacky adventures started. this time, like many. it started with muffins.

She flew as fast as she could, carrying the freshly made muffins. She flew straight into the Everfree forest and was dodging every tree in sight. As she sped through the woods, her sights were set.... and she was late. She finally got to the spot where they had normally met and was catching her breath when he appeared. The Tardis Appeared in a flash of light as per it's normal routine and The Doctor stepped out and gingerly greeted Ditzy, not even recognizing her lateness.
"How goes the work Doc?" said Ditzy "Eh.. a bit troublesome but it's managing, I could use some help with the Tardis though. There have been malfunctions recently and I'm not quite sure if it's secure." Said The Doctor. This was an odd occasion for Mr. Whooves, even for a time traveling pony.
"Well I'd love to help ya doc!" said Ditzy "Why thank you, but first I need to get some food, after all there's not much to eat in the pre Cambrian era." The doctor laughed and went into the Tardis and pulled out a table and set it up while Ditzy took her still warm muffins from her bag. As they ate it was a normal pick nick for them. a bite here, a bite there, the occasional conversation. It had been about 5 minutes after they finished eating when the Tardis started to growl. Ditzy had only been around Mr. Whooves for about 4 months now and she still couldn't get used to the fact that he was from another dimension. "Uh, hey doc is it supposed to do that on its own?" said Ditzy "Oh, it's fine Ditzy. Just a occasional re-calibration is all, it's set to do so every few weeks." said The Doctor. "o- okay." mumbled Ditzy.
Dr. Whooves had just finished putting away the table as the Tardis sprung to life. The front door flew open as a myriad of mysterious noises came from the beams of light now shooting out of it. The Tardis let out loud shrieks and then suddenly stopped. "HEY WHATS GOING ON?!" said an unfamiliar voice "Wha- Wait, who is that?!" said The Doctor. Ditzy was cowering behind Mr. Whooves as he prepared for a fight. As the smoke cleared it seemed like an eternity, eventually the figure became visible.

I stepped through the doorway and opened my eyes and found myself in a cloud of smoke. I went to cover my mouth but something felt odd. As I raised my arm I suddenly lost balance and fell.
Dr. Whooves and Ditzy were in awe. There stood, well now lie. A pony.
I stood up and looked around to find myself in a small clearing in the woods with two ponys and a phone booth, Wait? PONIES?! PHONE BOOTH?!
I turned around, stared at the ground and said. "oh god why."
At this point Dr. whooves had wriggled himself out of Ditzys grasp and walked over to me. "Hello there stranger!" he said, in a somewhat cheery voice. "Hello there yourself stranger!" I said "Might I ask if you know how you got here?" said The Doctor "No idea!" I said "Well, you seem awfully cheerful to be here." said Mr. Whooves "Well, I can't say I've been here before, but I sure do know where I am." I said "And where might you think that be?" said The Doctor. "Equestria, Mr. Whooves." As I said that the Clearing Grew heavy as if the sky had caved in.

As he stood there in awe I could see the confusion in his face, but his eyes didn’t say the same. He had a look of curiosity in them, one that you see in a child filled with joy. “Wai- Wha- how?” Said the doctor “could it possibl-… no.” he mumbled as he now paced around. Ditzy was still confused and eventually built up the courage (impatience rather) to say “Wh- who are you?” “Oh, I-… I actually don’t know.” I said “Well what do you mean you don’t know?!” “Well I’m not sure my name would apply here as it did where I’m from.” I said “That may be an issue we’ll need to go over.” Said The Doctor “Well, do you know who I am?” said Ditzy “Yeah, you’re derpy.” And as I said those words I could immediately feel the rush of regret wash over me like a wave. I could see her heart sink as hear head turned towards the ground, even The Doctor stopped in his tracks as I said it.
“So sorry, I meant to say Ditzy Doo. Most people from my land refer to you as that. Please don’t take insult to it; we actually use it in support of you.” I said. I could see her look up and I knew I at least partially redeemed my chance of friendship with her. “Well, it’s okay I guess. You just didn’t know.” she said this with that kind of tone you get from a mother telling you everything will be okay even when you both know it won’t. She was heartbroken.
“Thanks.” I said as Dr. Whooves began to speak. “Well judging by that cutie mark you must have some experience with computers right?” he said “Well yeah, but it’s actually using them, not building.” I said “Well then..” said Mr. Whooves as he turned to stare at my flank. He began mumbling, and then he said it. “Terra Byte.” “Terra byte?” Ditzy and I said her with more curiosity due to her possibly not even knowing what it was. “Yes, Terra Byte.” Said Mr. Whooves. “It’s what we’ll be calling you from now on.” Said The Doctor. “Well, uh. Don’t you think that’s a bit sudden?” I said “Not at all, The Tardis doesn’t do something for no reason. You have a big role here, its best that you work on it as soon as you can.” Said The Doctor. “I like it… It makes you look smart.” Said ditzy “Ha, thank you. That really means something.” I said.

The next few hours were spent fixing up the clearing and going to Der- I mean Ditzys place in Ponyville. We ate at her house and her muffins were the best I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of butter and just the most solid, yet moist core. After we ate We decided to have me stay at Ditzys for the night.
As I lie on the couch, amazed. I sat and talked with Ditzy for at least an hour now, asking her so many questions about ponyville. Surprisingly she hadn’t asked how I knew about her so much, it was for the better.

I woke up just as the sun breached the horizon. I knew this by the way that it shined directly through the window into my eyes. just as it did at home. it was almost six in the morning when ditzy awoke "Morning Terra Byte." She said cheerfully "Why hello Ms. Dizty." I replied "Have you been awake long?" she said "About a half an hour." I said "Are you okay?" she said "Oh.. yeah, fine. Why do you ask?" I said "Well it's just nopony normally just lies around for half an hour." she said "Oh, it's fine. I did this all the time at home... it helps me think." I said as I sat up from the couch. "Well, I have a few minutes before I gotta go deliver the mail. You hungry?" She asked "You'd really cook something for me?" I asked Hmm this is odd, She seems to be warming up to me a little too much... could just be ponyville hospitality I guess. "Sure! I'd cook for any of my friends!" she said.

Ditzy had just left when I finished eating. I should probably go into town today. try to find a longer lasting home. I trotted into town and was amazed at the architecture, seemingly defying gravity as if it were nonexistent. Well then again I was in a cartoon world. As I made my way into the market I spotted Apple Jack selling some apples. The apple stand was very well built. And the apples looked delicious. "Why hello miss, might I ask you how much some of these apples might cost a handsome stallion such as myself?" Oh god, did I really just try to charm her? "Ha!, Well. For somepony like yourself I can get ya an apple for two bits." she said Oh god no, I'm broke. "Well I seem to have left my money at home, Would you be able to give me a free sample?" I said Good job Byte, You just tried to charm a pony only to tell her your broke. "Well I'm sorry sir, I can't do that for ya." She then paused "But!, I might be able to give ya a deal." she said "Well what sort of deal would you have in mind?" I said
